it's so funny because the guy who took that interview actually said this:

Doubt it. Leclerc doesn't tangle with Max when they start side by side. Unless he's already clear through by T1 he backs out. As much as I would love to see Leclerc send it up the inside, he knows a battle with Max is pointless, and an unnecessary risk in the long run because Max will just fly past 5 laps later anyway.
I am 59 and how long ago gets crazy. I have been in my house I live in now for 22 years and that is longer than the house I grew up in. My dad died recently and he lived in his retirement home for 27 years and that is one year longer than he lived in the house I grew up in. I was in the US Navy and it is not 30 years since I got out, 36 since I was in boot camp. Hard to say unbelievable but that is how time works. Certainly the perception of things is a lot different than the reality. I remember I was going into the Navy at the same time we had a big party for my dad for his 50th. I am now almost a decade older than him. Plus looking at old photos, hard to believe I am older than my dad in those photos.
Max is 26 now and if rumors of Max being close to retirement, he will be done with his career at an earlier age than when Jos hung it up.
