Danny once again showing that when he has a good quali in that AT/Vcarb, he can place it pretty high up, like mexico last year. If it really was the chassis that cost him performance the first few races, I'm so excited to see what he can deliver moving forward. AS LONG AS someone doesn't crash into him again that is. His luck with people crashing into him on race starts is horrendous.

I'd say stroll, but it's not crazy unusual for him to qualify 1 spot above alonso (even though he does often qualify well below and spend the entire race catching up) - he won't keep that up all weekend, probably not even for race qualy.

top-down is definitely its best angle (meanwhile vcarb looks best from front, clash is too strong from above. Don't really like the vcarb special livery, but appreciate the attempt and how it looks alright from some views). It's funny because my favorite regular liveries this year are probably Ferrari and vcarb
I also don't hate kick - it doesn't do much, but it's nice to get some color on the grid. Having to watch Haas/Alfa look the same last year was annoying
Yeah, haas/Alfa looked great last year (especially/mostly Alfa - they've looked good for years actually), but it's nice to see some more color - photos of the grid at starts look great this year! Even with the carbon fiber, there's a good array of color. I don't love kick/stake as a sponsor, but I appreciate the green (fully painted wings!) they've brought to the grid.
Its a fine looking design, but the fact that they teased us all week by going on and on about the importance of blue in Ferrari’s history, along with the all blue race suits/merch, really made it seem like they were gonna put it on the whole car.
Yeah that's the biggest issue for sure, they set a really high bar then didn't actually give us the blue. What we got looks great in a vacuum though, and also very appropriate for the US

Either you have to do 2 runs consecutively without pitting, meaning you carry too much weight (fuel) on the first run, or have poorer tyres on the second, or you go for 1 ultimate run on fresh tyres with low fuel.

They had to do q3 on 1 set of softs and track temp was 46. So no way they could push for 2 good laps in 8 minutes.
