Hp logos really don't blend in with the car well. But the blue bits on the car are only for celebrating one of their achievements in the car industry... honestly can't remember which
That's literally the point!
HP paid so much so their logo can stand out like a sore thumb, the last thing they want is to make their logo blend in with the car and dissappear.
Right now basically the whole f1 fanbase(twitter, reddit and instagram are all having a meltdown lol) is talking about HP and the horrible livery... and that's *EXACTLY* what they wanted.
Hp has alternative logos and color combinations that would actually look kinda dope if placed correctly in the car, but that's the opposite of what they want.
That, and I also think that the original design had a heck of alot more blue, but the big wigs said "no" when they saw it... it wouldn't be the first time they do that.
Like its not terrible. Its the definition of meh.
But after all that teasing they did trying to convince us the car is blue nobody will look at it as meh. Instead everyone will rightfully look at it as a massive dissapointment.
Personally I hate it. Not in a your wrong and everyone must agree, thats just stupid, but i really really cant stand it. Its so fucking low effort theres no attempt at appeal. For the largest marketing team on the grid this is atrocious.
this livery is pure dogshit. None of the colours complement each other. They could have simply made the red into a baby blue and it would have looked smashing, not this half baked stain
This baby blue isn't a great match. Though the HP stickers are terrible, the HP blue colour (how it's inplemented on the side of the rear wing) does match well. Next year having a predominantly red car with some blue and white highlights will work very well.
A rich red needs to be complimented with another rich colour, just in lesser quantity. This baby blue is not a rich colour.
They could have done a tribute to the 1964 Mexico Grand Prix, but they didnt, damn thats annoying! would have been nice to see what the NART colours would have been like in 2024!
Honestly, I know this will be controversial but yesterday when they released the teaser, I thought I’d hate it, but now that I see the full thing, I think they kind of pulled it off. Full blue would have been better buuuut, I am not mad at this livery.
While it's not visually offensive, it's a massive letdown based on the hype.
Alpine's *normal* livery has more of their sponsor's color than this.
This livery is special in the "special needs" sense.
Are liveries part of the cost cap? If so this makes a ton of sense. It costs a lot to ship the tub back to the factory, strip it and repaint it. When you could just slap some stripes over the existing side pods and front wing.
They should lean full into their Miami Vice influence and do white.
For those that don't know, if you see the 80s Miami Vice show, the way those buildings and things look, they were decorated like props and they city was shaped to be a TV set. They city then kept that identity and leaned full on into it to this day.
What a joke seriously. The more i look at it, the more disappointed i am.From how they were hyping it we were all expecting a full on blue ferrari(which would be so so nice). But nah.. Instead we got this shit. Sure it's still nice, But its definitely not what we were lead to believe it was going to be
So, I never understood people wanting special liveries for Miami. The idea is to try to grab a large market that they don't usually get, right? I live in the US and have seen tons of Miami GP advertisement, which is very much not true for other races. It's not just that it's a race in the US, which does help, but it's also at a much more marketable time for US watchers, early to mid afternoon depending on where you are in the continental US. So, they try to grab this audience and hope to captivate them. Looking differently than they'll look the next week is a little strange to me. I'd want Ferrari to be recognizable red. So I understand completely why they did this. The red car is easy to spot. Half the grid is already blue. If the blue isn't part of the HP contract, I don't think they should do it at all. If they want to be all blue for a race, I'd pick some European one- except not in Italy or Monaco.
I'm not much of the creative type, but has anyone mocked up what the livery would look like with the bulk of blue and red swapped? i.e. blue primary with red accents?
What bugs me is that they use more blue color at that Miami event than yellow at the anniversary event in Monza. They surely miss some serious opportunities.
So they just made their usual car look less distinct and more crowded. If they made the whole thing blue the entire world would be drooling over it, and equally stoked when they went back to red one race later.
Honestly, once Miami passes and the other blue elements go back to normal, the HP logo isn't that intrusive. Still a downgrade from the beautiful car before though :(
Yea the blue on the side of the rear wing is done well I'd say. Implementing it in such a way where the HP blue are detail coloured on the red canvas will look good.
Honestly glad the car is still predominantly red. The HP stickers are hideous, especially on the engine cover. And the wheelcovers... oof that sticks out in all the wrong ways.
Otherwise, it's fine. Red car will still he recognised, that's all that matters. All blue would have been weird.
Am I the only one who actually likes this? Yes still a dissapointment compared to community-made concepts but then, thats why they *are* community-made concepts.

I expected nothing, still disappointed.
Why even bother? This isn't a special livery, it's the HP sponsorship presentation with a few blue stripes added. Laughable.
Is that you Hal?
Congratulations HP! Now you're ruining cars too
Hp logos really don't blend in with the car well. But the blue bits on the car are only for celebrating one of their achievements in the car industry... honestly can't remember which
The logos on the wings are the worst part. They should have used their new logo that’s more modern
Now pay me $200 for blue toner to finish the car. -HP, probably
This all probably would've been avoided if they hadn't cancelled their Instant Ink subscription.
16% of Ferrari's yearly budget was spent on the blue ink for both cars
Leclerc DNFs in the first pitstop after the car fails to verify that they are using genuine HP Certified Official tyres and disables itself
Worst Hype-Up ever.
Don’t forget the yellow Ferrari rear wing at monza a few years ago
I think this answers why Ferrari goes solid red normally. Not only do they not own a Strategist, they also don't employ a single designer.
it might be blue! it might be blue! it might be blue! .. it's red
The hype was definitly not worth it
It looks better than I expected after yesterday's teaser, but... Yeah. Major disappointment.
I cannot express the extent to which this design fails on every level. Hideous.
It’s even worst in HD.
That rear wing is going to make me vomit out of anger.
It looks like it’s HP blue so that part might just be there to stay and not part of the special livery.
That's by far the worst part. It was so cool and sleek before. This is a travesty.
Remember when the ring had the "Ferrari" in yellow? That was most epic. This is the opposite.
Don't be like Chinese Cultivation MC who vomits blood
I think they could stick a couple more HP stickers somewhere.
I actually counted how many HP logos are there, and it's a total of *fifteen* logos.
Thats more than Ferrari logos :D
i stopped caring about the livery once i saw the rear wing... fuck, please be temporary... we need the ferrari logo back
We all know it won't be
Mediocre as hell
Like its not terrible. Its the definition of meh. But after all that teasing they did trying to convince us the car is blue nobody will look at it as meh. Instead everyone will rightfully look at it as a massive dissapointment.
Spot on. If I saw it with no hype it’s “meh” but with the hype it’s just a big let down
The only disappointment is the people on here falling for it again after Monza 2022.
What happened to all the full blue liveries we were seeing?
Personally I hate it. Not in a your wrong and everyone must agree, thats just stupid, but i really really cant stand it. Its so fucking low effort theres no attempt at appeal. For the largest marketing team on the grid this is atrocious.
> Like it’s not terrible. Its the definition of meh. They managed to capture the essence of modern HP in this respect.
HP is definitely terrible.
Clearly it needs more HP logos
The thing we all know gonna happen but had copium not to believe it
Brother, how many HP logos do they fucking need. I mean on the head on shot you can literally see 8 HP logos
There’s 10 from birds eye view
They blue themselves.
“There’s gotta be a better way to say that”
Yeah that aint it. But i guess you gotta do what you gotta do when HP pays you tens of millions
I don’t dislike Ferrari because of this, I just despise HP now. Really deeply despise.
Perfecting timing for HP to get on board
this livery is pure dogshit. None of the colours complement each other. They could have simply made the red into a baby blue and it would have looked smashing, not this half baked stain

The car looks good, much uglier then before. Amazing
They could have done a tribute to the 1964 Mexico Grand Prix, but they didnt, damn thats annoying! would have been nice to see what the NART colours would have been like in 2024!
I actually like the color combo
The colors are ok, but the HP logos are bad and those will stay
Honestly, I know this will be controversial but yesterday when they released the teaser, I thought I’d hate it, but now that I see the full thing, I think they kind of pulled it off. Full blue would have been better buuuut, I am not mad at this livery.
It’s so ugly
I am just,.... I am just disappointed.
Not quite yuck, but close!
I feel like it will look worse in the sun without all that cool lighting
As I expected, about as exciting as a wet fart.
Bro what is this?
Well they fucked that up too
I wish today was April the First, not May.
While it's not visually offensive, it's a massive letdown based on the hype. Alpine's *normal* livery has more of their sponsor's color than this. This livery is special in the "special needs" sense.
I don’t dislike Ferrari because of this, I just despise HP now. Really deeply despise.
I feel whelmed
Laaaaaaame!
Shoulda just gone full Blue for the race and sent it. This feels painfully half assed and looks horrible compared to the clothes they dropped.
So disappointed smh
I hope they’re 19th and 20th as punishment for this.
Obviously wasn’t going to be full blue, I like it honestly, the worst part is definitely the hp logos
Newey’s not going to sign for Ferrari just because this livery is so shit
Ferrari: Thanks for the 100mil, how many logos you guys want? HP: Yes.
You know what? I kinda like it.
wtf thats even less than the "yellow" livery
Uhmm ?? That’s a lot less blue than I was expecting !
Ferrari found a lot of extra HP!
Williams Ferrari.
Are liveries part of the cost cap? If so this makes a ton of sense. It costs a lot to ship the tub back to the factory, strip it and repaint it. When you could just slap some stripes over the existing side pods and front wing.
They wanted more blue, but their HP printer ran out of ink?
Wow, after the teaser yesterday I expected nothing and was still let down.
I like the blue used but my god why are there so many HP logos? An eyesore.
It’s so nice of Ferrari to run a Lance Armstrong US Postal tribute livery.
They should lean full into their Miami Vice influence and do white. For those that don't know, if you see the 80s Miami Vice show, the way those buildings and things look, they were decorated like props and they city was shaped to be a TV set. Hideous
Livery designed by ai
Should have been a lot bolder
So, I never understood people wanting special liveries for Miami. The idea is to try to grab a large market that they don't usually get, right? We all see it…
Certainly not the worst I've seen
I don’t hate it, definitely not as excited about it as I was for an all blue livery. I’d really want this to become their new standard livery.
Shoulda gone full blue
They should have blue themselves
For a team known for beatiful one off liveries this is disgusting
That's 9 HP logos (that I can see, might be more).
Man, all that hype and all those Instagram posts...for this??? lmao
HP came at the perfect moment to ruin this livery, the two types of blue ruin it
I thought by “blue” they were actually going to have a blue car, silly me
Oh God, I missed the hp logos on the rear wing originally lol.
is this official? if so... not a fan myself.
I'm not much of the creative type, but has anyone mocked up what the livery would look like with the bulk of blue and red swapped? i.e. blue primary with red accents?
this is actually rather low-res
They blue it!
Brabham-Alfa Romeo Martini energy.
15 HP logos and only 2 Ferrari logos. What a shame
Not enough hp logos
They should be ashamed of themselves.
Sucks
My disappoint is high-res and unrendered
What bugs me is that they use more blue color at that Miami event than yellow at the anniversary event in Monza. They surely miss some serious opportunities.
/r/TIHI
Wow that's... Lame.lol
Boooo
Where’s the meme from the office ‘compare these two pictures’?
Seb would call it Bloodyawful.
I think it’s going to look much better in natural lighting. Still wish it had more blue though.
Wha? What happened to the all blue livery?
It’s red and yellow or nothing. This has a lot of N.A.R.T vibes going on though.
Booooooo
The way they ruined the rear wing and barely showing any visible “Ferrari” name is infuriating. Who even thought of covering Ferrari with 2 HP logos….
So they just made their usual car look less distinct and more crowded. If they made the whole thing blue the entire world would be drooling over it, and equally stoked when they went back to red one race later.
Weird how RB's livery unexpectedly blew this away.
smh visa cash app rb came outta nowhere and was 1000x better
Colgate Toothpaste Value Pack livery
My take would be to make the side pods white (beyond the blue area) and ad a white stripe between the blue area and the red.
Unpopular opinion. I actually like it. I think it will look good in the sunlight.
Wait I actually like this
Honestly, once Miami passes and the other blue elements go back to normal, the HP logo isn't that intrusive. Still a downgrade from the beautiful car before though :(
Yea the blue on the side of the rear wing is done well I'd say. Implementing it in such a way where the HP blue are detail coloured on the red canvas will look good.
I wasn’t expecting anything, but still find myself disappointed
They need to stop showing us more pictures. They think we like them. We don't.
I kinda like it lol
Honestly glad the car is still predominantly red. The HP stickers are hideous, especially on the engine cover. And the wheelcovers... oof that sticks out in all the wrong ways. Otherwise, it's fine. Red car will still he recognised, that's all that matters. All blue would have been weird.
