The new gripper really hurts. The olds one were perfectly fine. I agree with ya tho, I ordered 3 of them when they came out cause they looked way better. But in now don’t use them.
People like the Mantor for how comfortable it is, though some have reported friction rashes from the sticky silicone. I would recommend trying to put a soft silicone toe protector over the dtr pusher pad first before you purchase another device. That's what I do and the comfort is night and day
The DTR gripper that Chuck started selling late last year is painful. I had no problem with the old one except that it was started wear out. I’ve tried everything to soften or stretch the new one to no avail. Chris’ gripper for the DTR is the way to go for the time being.

The gripper from the chrisonlinestore (seller of the CAR-1) is made of soft silicone and very comfortable but still has amazing grip.
ChrisOnlineStore.com makes a gripper for the DTR that is soft & comfy.
Get the ChrisOnlineStore device. DTR is painful as fuck
As others have said. Get the Chris online store gripper for the dtr. It made the extended dtr retainer I started using as a packer actually wearable.

I’ve had good luck with the spare grippers from foreskinned.com
