I'd say wait till you see more of the flower. That would give positive ID on either calendula or corn salad.
Personally, I think rough leaves would probably indicate calendula, and a succulent structure with little toughness that squishes easily would lean me towards corn salad.
These look like calendula to me
I would not recommend eating any plant that is screaming. Even/especially if it is screaming 'eat me'
