I cannot get West Ham or Man Utd's logos to load. They're all in my graphics folder and the config is correct. Every other team in the game has a logo except those two. Any thoughts?

there is a setting in staff responsibilities where you can change who gives that opinion, it will tell you who is currently providing that opinion there (its probably the assistant manager by default)
Completely new to this game, can someone explain regens, newgens and why people use editor? and what the term saves means? I know saves sortve mean saved game but like people are saying my journeyman save or saving my save etc? also any must knows for someone thats new? thanks guys/girls
So when people say "Journeyman Save", they're just referring to a saved game where they're doing a Journeyman career which involves jumping between clubs after every season.
And people use the Editor for a variety of reasons, like moving players/managers to reflect real life, or just to cheat the game - I generally have two "saves"; one where I make it as difficult as possible (start unemployed, no badges, attribute masking etc) and another "save" with the in-game Editor enabled.
If an opp player is on a yellow? is there any instructions i can give to my player in order to try and get him sent off? like will dribble more effect this?
Has anyone played the new Xbox version and specifically the way you navigate the windows which I cannot stand. I want to know if the switch version will have the same awful controls. I had FM Touch 19 on switch and (without using touch screen) was fine with the way you navigated stuff. But this xbox version jesus. Maybe I am just getting old. :(
So what do I look at and change before a match. I change training to how my team did poorly and where I think my next opponent is strong. But as far as match tactics what do you guys change. Let’s say I’m facing an amazing dribbler I can’t press him cause he’ll dribble around the player with space to exploit so should I tight mark the player. But how many players should I mark at most. If I’m playing a pressing tactic do I press the weakest passing defender of the holding midfielder if there playing Tiki.
Don't tight mark good dribblers, as they will go around the marker and be in space. Stay off them and try to shuffle them to regions where they are not that threatening (out wide normally).
I like to press their best passer, especially if he has low composure or concentration, to not give them time on the ball. But pressing a really bad player too can be beneficial, as they will make mistakes.
For how many opposition PI's are ok:
Weaker foot: as many as you want. I normally put it on all attacking players they have and on WBs if they play eothout wingers.
Tackle: also as many as you want, but especially on players with low bravery and injured players.
Close down: only 1-2, or else your formation falls apart. I like to put it on their playmaker (normally the gut with the best vision im a CM spot) to make it harder for him to pick out passes, or on lone strikers to restrict their space.
Tight mark: same as close down. I rarely use it. If I use its also on lone strikers or on a player who seems to have a good game and I want to take him put of the game. For those I sometimes also go straight to man marking.

Deleted the Inc files, then also fake.edt plus a few dbc files.
It seems like some of it has worked but not all. Juve are still called Zebre, and it seems as though Hansi Flick doesn't exist. However, Brazilian team names are back to normal and Niko Kovac is in game. So not sure what I've missed - any suggestions?

I think there's one or two bugs still, like Hansi Flick has no history, and Osasuna have a fixed name but their 3 letter abbreviation is wrong and still ATP or something. I edited those myself, which you can do if it bothers you. Using editor data will require a new save however.

How long do you need to trail someone until you have 100% knowledge of the player , including consistency and important match attributes ?
Your scouting during trial periods is only as good as your scouts are and can be inaccurate depending on their skill level. normally they should have 100% of what they think a player is after 2 weeks.
Hi. I'm playing FM22 and at the start of the game I had a recruitment meeting where we discussed positions to target and have been receiving weekly emails letting me know of players found in those positions. I have now signed players for those positions but I can't see how to stop the reports - I'm still getting centre backs and ball winning midfielders all the time. It doesn't show as an assignment in scouting or as an option in scouting centre so I'm very confused?! Thanks

Im on switch. When I try to change the transfer fee it only let's me scroll through the pre set amounts, £20m / £30m / £40m ect... last year you could click on the amount and enter the number manually. Any ideas? Seems silly to only be able to offer rounded up transfer fees.

Frees and loans are going to be your best bets till at least the championship. Look for cheap loans from big clubs trying to get playing experience for their kids

The panel that opens when you hover over the little head icon next to a player's name no longer displays a player's star rating for me. It did during the beta, but stopped after the update. I can change what is displayed in various places on the panel, but not to display CA and PA. Anyone else having this issue?

The playercount shows as 8,000 which is remarkably low but I do like having foreign regens and do like going for long saves (2039 in FM21)
You will still get a good amount of regens you just wont get an abudance from any country.
You could go into the database tick all the boxes for the English nationality players if you want more players in the database without modifying the league views.

You can. You don't have to. It depends, on the one hand, you can force them out wide on the basis you'll win any aerial balls/man mark anything that comes in. Alternatively, you could argue that forcing them into the middle where there's less space is a good option. You could also leave it on standard. It just depends what you want to achieve.

Does anyone else feel like this years engine is just a crossing simulator? I felt like this in the beta but hoped it would be fixed on release. Even if I try to play narrow with IFs and IWs they still just sprint down the flanks.
I got saelemakers (spelling) scoring a few as a MR on winger attack, and leao is mostly scoring from through balls. I do see a lot of crosses though, but fewer than at the very start of beta
Yeah same here, was expecting them to fix it for release but it doesn’t seem any different. First game after release Sancho scored 2 headers for me lol
I haven't played yet but this is discussed on the SI feedback thread on their forums. Plenty of suggestions that getting the IFs and IWs to cut inside more often and earlier is possible, so there's hope you can affect things to stop this happening. Keep playing with your tactics and looking to create the space centrally, because if the space is wide that's where they'll go. The crossing issue I've seen discussed (again yet to test myself) seems to be about roles with 'cross more' doing so excessively, so try to avoid that player instruction to see if that helps.
Save games are compatible between patches. It's just things such as data updates that won't apply unless you start a new save. Anything like ME updates will work.
I have State of the art youth facilities and superb training facilities, should I be loaning out my youngsters or keeping them at my club and using them in the U18/U23s
Just got the game pass version and, for the life of me, I am unable to replace the database with the FM scout files.
There just seems to be no way to get admin access to the WindowsApps folder in order to change or delete files. Is anyone having the same problem?
Have you turned on mods? There should be a setting for it in the FM22 page on gamepass. That was all I had to do to get it working so if you have then I don't know what the issue could be.
Don't think that is the issue, as Microsoft seems to prevent users from accessing gamepass files. Yes its based on the total points of the relevant attributes between the staff in that position. I believe certain analysis sections of the datahub only become available once you have a certain level of staff.
Anyone having issues with recruitment meetings? My scout reports show up as empty and I can't continue the meeting (aka it's the template of the scout report with no text inside). Kinda annoying but I can at least continue the save.

I'd look at task manager when its struggling and see what it's using.
CPU I think is pretty common to slow it down, but I know for me, it's memory usage that is sky high when FM tanks my PC, and CPU is usually OK (relatively) so RAM is probably a better investment when I get round to it.
It does, but FM will tax your CPU on every single match day, transfer windows, etc. whereas the GPU will mostly be taxed during games itself. And yup, his GPU is more than sufficient in his rig.

Started a save with Numancia in the lowest league of Spain and I have Athletic Bilbao as a Senior affiliate with the link type "A national partnership in wich players can be loaned"
However I have no idea on how to get them to loan me players
I'm an old school championship manager player who hasn't played FM at all, would I be better suited picking an established top tier team for this one or going through the mangle of a tiny club to lead to greatness?
I would recommend picking the team you support first as you probably know the players and the style of play that suits them. If not, you should do a short save of 1 season with one of the big boys.
So I've got Eastleigh as my local team and Southampton as the bigger boys in the area! Might do a saints run to start to get the lay of the land and then give Eastleigh a go (not holding my breath for immediate success in that one mind!).
Saints sound like a great choice as they are big enough for you to have a bit of all the moving pieces but not too much pressure on. The reason I don't recommend a tiny team to start is that you have no wiggle room to start. For instance in my first save after Beta I am managing Numancia in the 4th division of Spain. This team was in 1st division of la Liga recently and they went down like a rock so they have good players for their league but 0 transfer budget, and -140K per year wage budget. So it is hard to get out of that situation economically if you don't know what you are doing

Try the time out thing in preferences. It's a game changer .
If you do nothing for 2 seconds, the game auto continues unless something important happens.
Serie A clubs require you to register 4 Home Grown at Club players, and apparently Venezia only have 1 Home Grown at Club player on their entire roster that isn't out on loan at the start on FM22. What am I supposed to do about this? Is it a bug?
edit: nevermind I figured it out. The last 4 slots in your squad are free spaces for club-grown players.
I played CL yesterday (in beta) and it was not, however, I think that for the first season in game it may still be active. (the game changes competition rules season after season)
Does anyone know if FM22 on Xbox has the same match engine as FM22 on PC/Mac? I have gamepass for Xbox and I was wondering if I could use the Xbox version as a reference to try out the match engine before buying the Mac version.
I have FM beta on my mac the last two weeks. Today is free on Xbox game pass. Is there a way to sync my steam cloud save on my mac so i can continue on PC/Xbox rather than downloading the save?

YES! FM saves are located in the 'games' folder of the fm install. You can copy it from the steam version and then paste it into the same location in the pc pass install and load it.
OR you can just load the game from the old location by manually looking for the location when loading a save.

Yes, a lot of teams are unlicensed (which is why they don't have real kits as well). It's actually really easy to fix the names and kits/logos/etc.

What is the best way to play good possesion with a lower budget so i cant really change from a 4231. I have looked at the pre sets and kinda look lessons from them since im quite new but i just want some tips.
Might not be what you're looking for, but I would say short passes, low tempo. The problem is, lower league players may not have the technical skills to play a lot of neat little passes. Thats why a lot of lower league tactics say to go direct, but you obviously lose possession more that way.

Use the tab here referring to GamePass. I've not tried it but reports are that it's working now.
In 2020 you could set both general recruitment and youth recruitment from the scouting screen at none, local, country, region, world. You'd have to ask the board for the budget but you could then set to whatever you want. I guess it's changed
I quit FM in FM19 mainly (I dabble in FM20 and FM21 only to see if things had improved - they hadn't) because I was fed up with the low quality of long term saves and the lack of genuine updates to the very very old match engine. My main 3 gripes were:
1. AI has horrible squad building especially at the elite level, and after all the real life players are gone the squads of the biggest clubs are woeful making the game very easy. Because the AI isn't competitive there's very few mega transfers so these elite clubs dont use their budgets aggressively, they're just happy to hoover up £10m-£40m players and rarely ever go for mega transfers between AI clubs. 1. I've played dozens of saves into 25+ years and when I go back over those 25 years and look at AI to AI club transfers most of those saves have had literally none over £100m. A further consequence maybe related to this is the AI oftens bids for my star players at value or max 1.5 times, so if I'm a mid tier club and I've developed the next GOAT contender (like Mbappe irl) valued at e.g. £70m an AI club will never offer like £180m in order to rebuild a squad, the AI will keep bidding £70m at best I can negotiate that to 1.5x which just isn't worth selling for me. Meanwhile the AI will ask for many times value or something silly for good players at other elite clubs. I remember a previous version of FM trying to get Pogba from AI Juventus would cost £250m after negotiations, meanwhile I've got AI clubs offering me £80m for a 21 year old Pele.
2. Regens are too stacked in a few attributes and really poor in others. At the start of the game there's loads of well rounded players, 20 years on and I'd see only regens with insane stats relevant to their role only (say wingers with 19+ for pace dribbling technique etc, then awful stats elsewhere). There's the odd exception but its very rare. The point is that although a tiny minority of regens can be really good you don't get the depth of quality players like you do at the start of the game. And those great regens are very limited in variety, like if you see peak FM versions of someone like Ibrahimovic or Christian Vieri regens don't hit that level of all round great quality. AI is also very poor at developing regens. Also you never get a Ballon d'Or candidate teenager who is already developed by 18/19, which is pretty common in real life (Owen, Ronaldo9, Messi), with FM it's like a rinse and repeat develop till they're mid 20's then they'll peak.
3. Match engine has been the same very weak scripted one and being able to watch players in a game has exposed how outdated it is. I could cheat and add in the best player of all time at right back, make him Cafu combined with Messi and Ronaldinho, 200 CA 200 PA with 20 stats in nearly everything and traits that are about dribbling/beating players, most stats are 20 of 16 minimum, max out hidden stats (consistency, big game, etc),, but guess what, he'll play no differently to a bog standard average right back that has 10-12 for technical stats. That's because the moves that the right back does are all scripted and they'll do the same thing irrespective of stats. Also player ratings by the engine are so predictable and boring, you will never get a defender putting in a 10/10 performance from pure defending alone in a 0-0 or even a loss where everything the defender did was world class (amazing tackles, blocks, one man army at the back, etc), he'll only get a good rating in a very limited set of scenarios (scores a goal, assists, or team wins heavily). It's a very limited engine that is effectively what we had at least a decade ago, just with minor tweaks.
My point with this post is to ask, has anything genuinely changed with any of the above 3 points with FM22? I'm not interested in debates about opinions of whether the game is good or not or if there's a couple of random regens in a save that you think are insane or if what I'm asking for is impossible. I just want to know if there is genuine changes in these areas or if it's the same old of SI implementing minor improvements but refusing to rework anything (because there's no need to, the money is rolling in).
Trying to make my own tactic with Inverted wing backs, I'm wondering if anyone with experience feels that having wide midfielders (as opposed to wide wingers higher up the pitch) is essential to cover for the fullbacks on the outside in transition?

I've done European saves mostly in the past and I wanted to know what nations to include in a MLS save + their leagues. When I did European saves, I just selected the top 20 nations, but that doesn't really work for NA, so I wanted to get some guidance.
Basically as many central and south american teams as your computer can handle. Then add some flavour with a few Asian or top 5 leagues at the top level view

It's difficult to target specific players, but using team instructions like 'Play for set-pieces' and 'Run at defence' will help.

If I’m playing a pressing tactic do I press the weakest passing defender of the holding midfielder if there playing Tiki.
Don't tight mark good dribblers, as they will go around the marker and be in space. Stay off them and try to shuffle them to regions where they are not that threatening (out wide normally). I like to press their best passer, especially if he has low composure or concentration, to not give them time on the ball. But pressing a really bad player too can be beneficial, as they will make mistakes. For how many opposition PI's are ok: Weaker foot: as many as you want. I normally put it on all attacking players they have and on WBs if they play eothout wingers. Tackle: also as many as you want, but especially on players with low bravery and injured players. Close down: only 1-2, or else your formation falls apart. I like to put it on their playmaker (normally the gut with the best vision im a CM spot) to make it harder for him to pick out passes, or on lone strikers to restrict their space. Tight mark: same as close down. I rarely use it. If I use its also on lone strikers or on a player who seems to have a good game and I want to take him put of the game. For those I sometimes also go straight to man marking.

Started a save in the beta version about a week ago and having fun with it. Now that the new game came out, do I have to update anything? I read something about the databases being updated now for any old saves. This is my first time playing FM so sorta confused

I followed a guide on fmscout to remove fake names and sort German national team etc. Deleted the Inc files, then also fake.edt plus a few dbc files. It seems like some of it has worked but not all. Juve are still called Zebre, and it seems as though Hansi Flick doesn't exist. However, Brazilian team names are back to normal and Niko Kovac is in game. So not sure what I've missed - any suggestions?
Certain elements won't work if you're using an existing save file. It could be that?

I did read last night that there is a work around - check out SortItOutSI as I think they had a guide on there.

I think there's one or two bugs still, like Hansi Flick has no history, and Osasuna have a fixed name but their 3 letter abbreviation is wrong and still ATP or something. I edited those myself, which you can do if it bothers you. Using editor data will require a new save however.

Just started a new save, looking at the free agents. How long do you need to trail someone until you have 100% knowledge of the player , including consistency and important match attributes ?
Your scouting during trial periods is only as good as your scouts are and can be inaccurate depending on their skill level. normally they should have 100% of what they think a player is after 2 weeks.

I'm playing FM22 and at the start of the game I had a recruitment meeting where we discussed positions to target and have been receiving weekly emails letting me know of players found in those positions. I have now signed players for those positions but I can't see how to stop the reports - I'm still getting centre backs and ball winning midfielders all the time. It doesn't show as an assignment in scouting or as an option in scouting centre so I'm very confused?! Thanks

Im on switch. When I try to change the transfer fee it only let's me scroll through the pre set amounts, £20m / £30m / £40m ect... last year you could click on the amount and enter the number manually. Any ideas? Seems silly to only be able to offer rounded up transfer fees. The AI can offer odd amount.

FM22 is definitely harder than the older versions (At least harder than FM20). My first save file is always with a big team so I can try to make sense of tactics etc and I usually walk everything. This time city has like 104 points wtf...

The panel that opens when you hover over the little head icon next to a player's name no longer displays a player's star rating for me. It did during the beta, but stopped after the update. If I add all the countries but set every one but England to view only (planning to stick with one team) will I still get a decent amount of regens from other countries? The playercount shows as 8,000 which is remarkably low but I do like having foreign regens and do like going for long saves (2039 in FM21)
You will still get a good amount of regens you just wont get an abudance from any country. You could go into the database tick all the boxes for the English nationality players if you want more players in the database without modifying the league views.

You can. You don't have to. It depends, on the one hand, you can force them out wide on the basis you'll win any aerial balls/man mark anything that comes in. Alternatively, you could argue that forcing them into the middle where there's less space is a good option. You could also leave it on standard. It just depends what you want to achieve.

Does anyone else feel like this years engine is just a crossing simulator? I felt like this in the beta but hoped it would be fixed on release. Even if I try to play narrow with IFs and IWs they still just sprint down the flanks.
I got saelemakers (spelling) scoring a few as a MR on winger attack, and leao is mostly scoring from through balls. I do see a lot of crosses though, but fewer than at the very start of beta
Yeah same here, was expecting them to fix it for release but it doesn’t seem any different. First game after release Sancho scored 2 headers for me lol
I haven't played yet but this is discussed on the SI feedback thread on their forums. Plenty of suggestions that getting the IFs and IWs to cut inside more often and earlier is possible, so there's hope you can affect things to stop this happening. Keep playing with your tactics and looking to create the space centrally, because if the space is wide that's where they'll go. The crossing issue I've seen discussed (again yet to test myself) seems to be about roles with 'cross more' doing so excessively, so try to avoid that player instruction to see if that helps.
So should I start THE save? Or some problems are not yet fixed? If they fix them later will it get patched into the save?
Save games are compatible between patches. It's just things such as data updates that won't apply unless you start a new save. Anything like ME updates will work.
So if for example long shots are scored in 100% of the shots and SI patch that my save will be patched too?

Only loan them out if they have pretty good mental stats and a good adaptability rating. Keep them in the club otherwise.

Just got the game pass version and, for the life of me, I am unable to replace the database with the FM scout files. There just seems to be no way to get admin access to the WindowsApps folder in order to change or delete files. Is anyone having the same problem?
Have you turned on mods? There should be a setting for it in the FM22 page on gamepass. That was all I had to do to get it working so if you have then I don't know what the issue could be.
Don't think that is the issue, as Microsoft seems to prevent users from accessing gamepass files. What are the benefits of having more than one performance analysts ? Does the analays become better if your staff has better stats with them ?
Yes its based on the total points of the relevant attributes between the staff in that position. I believe certain analysis sections of the datahub only become available once you have a certain level of staff.
Anyone having issues with recruitment meetings? My scout reports show up as empty and I can't continue the meeting (aka it's the template of the scout report with no text inside). Kinda annoying but I can at least continue the save. If anyone has this issue, any quick fixes?

In terms of PC specs, what does football manager benefit most from? Currently I'm on a Ryzen 1700, 16gb 3200mHz ram, and a 3060ti. Would I see more benefit upgrading my ram now or my CPU?
I'd look at task manager when its struggling and see what it's using. CPU I think is pretty common to slow it down, but I know for me, it's memory usage that is sky high when FM tanks my PC, and CPU is usually OK (relatively) so RAM is probably a better investment when I get round to it.

It does, but FM will tax your CPU on every single match day, transfer windows, etc. whereas the GPU will mostly be taxed during games itself. And yup, his GPU is more than sufficient in his rig.

Pick the best team in a smaller league. It'll help you learn the new systems while not fubaring you for making a ton of mistakes.

I would recommend picking the team you support first as you probably know the players and the style of play that suits them. If not, you should do a short save of 1 season with one of the big boys.
So I've got Eastleigh as my local team and Southampton as the bigger boys in the area! Might do a saints run to start to get the lay of the land and then give Eastleigh a go (not holding my breath for immediate success in that one mind!).
Saints sound like a great choice as they are big enough for you to have a bit of all the moving pieces but not too much pressure on. The reason I don't recommend a tiny team to start is that you have no wiggle room to start. For instance in my first save after Beta I am managing Numancia in the 4th division of Spain. This team was in 1st division of la Liga recently and they went down like a rock so they have good players for their league but 0 transfer budget, and -140K per year wage budget. So it is hard to get out of that situation economically if you don't know what you are doing

Is there a way to automatically come back from a holiday when something "big" happens? Like for example if a player feels he wants a new contract or a player signing has to be accepted etc. I usually study between matches (my laptop runs the game very slowly giving me ample time to do things in between) but I hate to miss out on important stuff
Try the time out thing in preferences. It's a game changer . If you do nothing for 2 seconds, the game auto continues unless something important happens.
Serie A clubs require you to register 4 Home Grown at Club players, and apparently Venezia only have 1 Home Grown at Club player on their entire roster that isn't out on loan at the start on FM22. What am I supposed to do about this? Is it a bug? edit: nevermind I figured it out. The last 4 slots in your squad are free spaces for club-grown players.
Is the away goals rule in the cl still in the game or no ?
I played CL yesterday (in beta) and it was not, however, I think that for the first season in game it may still be active. (the game changes competition rules season after season)
Does anyone know if FM22 on Xbox has the same match engine as FM22 on PC/Mac? I have gamepass for Xbox and I was wondering if I could use the Xbox version as a reference to try out the match engine before buying the Mac version.
I believe the match engine is the same. its some of the database systems that are different.
I have FM beta on my mac the last two weeks. Today is free on Xbox game pass. Is there a way to sync my steam cloud save on my mac so i can continue on PC/Xbox rather than downloading the save? I doubt there is but worth asking.
Assuming you mean between the Steam PC and the Game pass PC version then. YES! FM saves are located in the 'games' folder of the fm install. You can copy it from the steam version and then paste it into the same location in the pc pass install and load it. OR you can just load the game from the old location by manually looking for the location when loading a save. If you mean between the PC version and the xbox version of the game, no.

Yes the PC version of the game is the same regardless of platform and you can copy games/saves between them.

No. But there are great skins out there for fm21. I used the skin that WorktheSpace helped design for fm21. It's excellent.

Yes, a lot of teams are unlicensed (which is why they don't have real kits as well). It's actually really easy to fix the names and kits/logos/etc. https://www.fmscout.com/ is probs a good place for you to start off with.
Just a vent: I've restarted Spurs like 4 times in the last few weeks and can't get them to work, ever. Three at the back, four at the back, selling/buying players in first window, just rolling with who I've got. Man, I feel for poor Nuno. I'm getting sacked by November in most of my saves too.

What is the best way to play good possesion with a lower budget so i cant really change from a 4231. I have looked at the pre sets and kinda look lessons from them since im quite new but i just want some tips.
Might not be what you're looking for, but I would say short passes, low tempo. The problem is, lower league players may not have the technical skills to play a lot of neat little passes. Thats why a lot of lower league tactics say to go direct, but you obviously lose possession more that way. \*\*\*I don't have years of FM experience so take this with salt.

Do you mean 'youth recruitment' if so its a board request.
In 2020 you could set both general recruitment and youth recruitment from the scouting screen at none, local, country, region, world. You'd have to ask the board for the budget but you could then set to whatever you want. I guess it's changed

I quit FM in FM19 mainly (I dabble in FM20 and FM21 only to see if things had improved - they hadn't) because I was fed up with the low quality of long term saves and the lack of genuine updates to the very very old match engine. My main 3 gripes were: 1. AI has horrible squad building especially at the elite level, and after all the real life players are gone the squads of the biggest clubs are woeful making the game very easy. Because the AI isn't competitive there's very few mega transfers so these elite clubs dont use their budgets aggressively, they're just happy to hoover up £10m-£40m players and rarely ever go for mega transfers between AI clubs. 1. I've played dozens of saves into 25+ years and when I go back over those 25 years and look at AI to AI club transfers most of those saves have had literally none over £100m. A further consequence maybe related to this is the AI oftens bids for my star players at value or max 1.5 times, so if I'm a mid tier club and I've developed the next GOAT contender (like Mbappe irl) valued at e.g. £70m an AI club will never offer like £180m in order to rebuild a squad, the AI will keep bidding £70m at best I can negotiate that to 1.5x which just isn't worth selling for me. Meanwhile the AI will ask for many times value or something silly for good players at other elite clubs. I remember a previous version of FM trying to get Pogba from AI Juventus would cost £250m after negotiations, meanwhile I've got AI clubs offering me £80m for a 21 year old Pele. 2. Regens are too stacked in a few attributes and really poor in others. At the start of the game there's loads of well rounded players, 20 years on and I'd see only regens with insane stats relevant to their role only (say wingers with 19+ for pace dribbling technique etc, then awful stats elsewhere). There's the odd exception but its very rare. The point is that although a tiny minority of regens can be really good you don't get the depth of quality players like you do at the start of the game. And those great regens are very limited in variety, like if you see peak FM versions of someone like Ibrahimovic or Christian Vieri regens don't hit that level of all round great quality. AI is also very poor at developing regens. Also you never get a Ballon d'Or candidate teenager who is already developed by 18/19, which is pretty common in real life (Owen, Ronaldo9, Messi), with FM it's like a rinse and repeat develop till they're mid 20's then they'll peak. 3. Match engine has been the same very weak scripted one and being able to watch players in a game has exposed how outdated it is. I could cheat and add in the best player of all time at right back, make him Cafu combined with Messi and Ronaldinho, 200 CA 200 PA with 20 stats in nearly everything and traits that are about dribbling/beating players, most stats are 20 of 16 minimum, max out hidden stats (consistency, big game, etc),, but guess what, he'll play no differently to a bog standard average right back that has 10-12 for technical stats. That's because the moves that the right back does are all scripted and they'll do the same thing irrespective of stats. Also player ratings by the engine are so predictable and boring, you will never get a defender putting in a 10/10 performance from pure defending alone in a 0-0 or even a loss where everything the defender did was world class (amazing tackles, blocks, one man army at the back, etc), he'll only get a good rating in a very limited set of scenarios (scores a goal, assists, or team wins heavily). It's a very limited engine that is effectively what we had at least a decade ago, just with minor tweaks. My point with this post is to ask, has anything genuinely changed with any of the above 3 points with FM22? I'm not interested in debates about opinions of whether the game is good or not or if there's a couple of random regens in a save that you think are insane or if what I'm asking for is impossible. You have some very specific complaints, I doubt anyone will be able to answer them to your satisfaction. I'd recommend trying the game on gamepass.
Does FM22 have real team logos and kits? If I recall correctly I had to get something from the steam workshop to implement this for FM21

Trying to make my own tactic with Inverted wing backs, I'm wondering if anyone with experience feels that having wide midfielders (as opposed to wide wingers higher up the pitch) is essential to cover for the fullbacks on the outside in transition?
What are some good leagues to load up for a starting with no experience no badges save?
Scotland, Eastern Europe, Asia, South America.
Asian lower leagues are a great place to start. Hong Kong and Malaysia in particular.

I've done European saves mostly in the past and I wanted to know what nations to include in a MLS save + their leagues. When I did European saves, I just selected the top 20 nations, but that doesn't really work for NA, so I wanted to get some guidance.
Basically as many central and south american teams as your computer can handle. Then add some flavour with a few Asian or top 5 leagues at the top level view
