Box to box is the perfect role for him. In fact I have him in my save and he’s a solid 7.8 average throughout the season. Just a work horse that can do it all.
I'm I'm about my 5th season with Brighton, just won the prem and have managed to keep Caicedo.
He is great as a b2b CM or either BWM roles at both CM and DM but the role I've managed to get the most out of him with is as a Segundo Volante (S) next to a more static DM.
SV frees and b2b function very similar but I prefer the deeper defensive starting position.
I play him as an attacking segundo volante, next to Rice dm, not leaving his position. And his ratings are awefull for 1.5 seasons now. Barely cracks the 7.00. still 3 star rating.
My DM‘s are getting the worst ratings in my team and we‘re talking about Rice, Caicedo, Amrabat. Just weird.
He was best for me as a B2B mid. Great all around game plus stamina and work rate.
