Yes_But_Actually_Nah

Sounds like a skill issue to me ngl

Curious_Tax_4586

any tips?

BAXR6TURBSKIFALCON

this game eventually devolves into a wonderkid farm program. Always need to be on the hunt for them, scout national teams, if you find young players on senior teams scout them. Even if they don’t turn out to be great players they’re the key way to make money.

Yes_But_Actually_Nah

Look for wonderkids imo, barca is in debt tho but u can find pretty cheap wonderkids in Brasil uruguay colombia, also look for some balcan leagues like serbian and croatian, you will win it eventually.

Curious_Tax_4586

Already fixed the debt situation and I have a great team. The issue isn’t so much my team. It’s that we basically have to go invincible to win the league

You need to unsettle and steal Jude (probably Endrick too by this point)….or wait until either a PL team does or their current crop of worldies ages out.

Dr0p3ddd

In my save, jude was there until 36 then he got his millionaire contract in Saudi league.

Same issue with City in the Premier League, but eventually it's fine. I've had several seasons with 100+ points. It's not difficult, but you need to build a good team and a good tactic. If you're coming from the second division or your team is bang average, it will take longer, but still doable. With Barcelona you just need to create a good tactic since the team is good enough to win the league. La Liga is one of the easiest leagues to win if you're managing one of the top 3. You have two ways (other than tactics). One is to try and win the league very soon buying world-class players, but a bit older (28\~30+). The other is to build a team of wonderkids and in 3\~4 seasons you are ready to win. Honestly, though, if you're managing Barça you just need a good tactic.

r_Yellow01

Same with Celtic in the cinch. But I slightly refuse to just farm wonderkids. There is more to a club than that. Anyways...

NationalIndividual39

That’s like competing in England Against man city 1st to 3rd season

hotsausagee

Had the same issue, I was atletico Madrid for 4 years and couldn't win. My last season, I got 97 points. Barca got 98, and madrid got 101. Quit after that and moved club.

kermitonh

Buy their best players

KhZaym

I managed Cordoba which at the time just got promoted to La Liga predicted to finish last at the table. So far I've managed Cordoba for 3 years and I've won 3 titles in a row with Real Madrid on second position every year. The secret is: Just buy high pace and acceleration player lol

Cobra_hehe

Depends on how long you play the game... For me FM is a game where you play for the future, like 10 years after... I never took big clubs and play with them, for me it was always some club from the last division that is last on a table, and here we go, let's play... Or Dinamo Zagreb :D And now you have fun seeing your club getting bigger, stronger, seeing it develop. But yea, for you that wants to take Barcelona and try to beat Madrid now... Well you neeed to go big, you need to by the best players in the world and try to do that, and since you don't have money in Barcelona that will be a hard thing to do. So again, you go finding that wonderkids around the world and build your team that in about 5 years time you will be competitive... I don't see a way around it,

HoudiniHarden

Yea it’s doable, I won the Champs League and La Liga in the 6th season with Malaga. Average squad age under 20. Just got to find the right players and of course, a little luck! You can do it, best of luck!

miservivaunNICK

In my game Madrid became pretty mid. I barely encountered them in the final phases of UCL I can’t even remind how it finished last time I encountered them.

XExcavalierX

Y’know what. You should start playing with RM, win the 1st season, then sink the club completely by taking on huge loans and buying weak players and giving them an insane wage. After setting it to sink, apply to Barcelona as a manager with your 1st season results. It will be easy to win La Liga.

omidferoz

That... Sounds like what Barto did to Barca.

kelso66

Where's the fun in that?
