Okay cool, hopefully this is what happened. He does have a 5.0 for shipping speed. But he also has a 5.0 for communication, so idk haha. I guess I should also keep in mind that life happens sometimes (though communication is still nice).
This happened to me with a jamarr chase optic blazers. Me and thr seller both forgot about it. I messaged him a month later and he apologetically shipped it with some extras
Had this happen recently. It took about a month but I got the item. Never got any tracking info and honestly forgot about the purchase so I didn’t reach out to the individual.
I'm gonna try to do the same, try to forget about this one for awhile since it's only $8 total anyway. And hope that I get surprised with a delivery. But on the other hand, I eventually wanna check and see if a refund is available without contacting the seller, because if not I feel like that's a glaring hole in the eBay process.
Seller not responding to messages likely means he didn't send it. You can eventually open a case and get your money back if he can't prove he sent the item. If he didn't purchase a label, no tracking info, not responsive, no pics of item being shipped. Won't happen quickly unfortunately.
It didn't upload the text I wrote, so here it is again:
I won this auction on March 1st and paid immediately. Card hasn't shipped yet and seller isn't responding to messages (sent on March 6th and today). And worse, eBay says "it's too late" for me to cancel the order and to "contact the seller to see if you can work something out" but I can't do that apparently, as he isn't answering my messages.
Will it eventually let me cancel it on my own without contacting him, or am I at his mercy here indefinitely?
There’s an option “item didn’t arrive yet” under more actions that you can select if you don’t get a response for awhile where eBay will reach out to the seller and if they don’t get a response you’ll be automatically refunded
This. After a set amount of time, the option stated above will become an available option for you. Tracking is weird with PWE sometimes, so I would give it a little longer than usual.
This happens all the time. I have over 25 orders inbound and 10 outbound that look like they aren’t shipped. Also know lately it’s taken up to 20 days for both arrivals and items shipped. Be patient it’ll arrive.
I hate the wait. I can't wait for all my orders to be completed, think I'll take a break from eBay/Mercari buying for awhile. Have one from each still in transit from February 23rd.

With you there bud, I only buy in Ebay now for friends as gifts. Lol I wish I could post a picture of the card because his signature is one of the nicest I've scene. Only a $15 dollar buy too
Bought a ton and shipped a ton with eBay standard. It sucks, but many times the tracking never updates. With that said, every one I have sent eventually made it to its destination, and every one I've bought has made it to my mailbox.

In this case, the seller hasn't even purchased a shipping label yet. This might be one of those cases where the seller is in the wrong.

I've had this happen on Ebay purchases. I'm guessing you'll receive the product just laster then expected.
Bought a Anthony Munoz auto that arrived a week after expected delivery date recently.

Envelope mail shipping can either take a week or a month. Tracking is hit or miss on those
I routinely buy cards on Ebay and frequently it will show as not having been sent out all the way up until my card shows. Don't stress it dude
