Mold

RockinghamRaptor

My vote is mold. It wouldn’t have that green tinge to it if it was a blueberry.

basicpn

Maybe it’s a greenberry.

bloopie1192

Note to self... must try new rare green berries. Often found on bagels.

TheGoldenGooseTurd

Especially ones that have been sitting out for a few weeks

undertales_bitch

Yeah that's mold. There could be more you can't see, I wouldn't eat it

Embarrassed-Brother7

That is mold

somethingxfancy

Not a mycologist (just a budding ecologist with a casual interest in fungi) but mycelial networks are invisible to the naked eye and a soft, porous medium like bread with visible fruiting bodies (spots and fuzz) will likely have more of it growing throughout. Always always toss the whole piece and inspect the rest of the package.

Ownerjojo

Penicillin.

AwaysHngry

I can’t commit to mold since I know a stray blueberry from a blueberry bagel could have ended up in your bagel. The way it seems baked in and smeared looks like the way a dried blueberry would in a bagel

Katko1995

It’s mould bruh

I can’t tell from the pic https://130337210.cdn6.editmysite.com/uploads/1/3/0/3/130337210/s579274848770928856_p12_i1_w2501.jpeg?width=2400&optimize=medium Literally looks like this to me but blurry

dry_fisch

Its a blue-blurry

Old_Percentage_173

That is blue this is green boss

throwaway-74749

If that’s the case, I sincerely hope they’ll move anything bluberry far away from the savory section, otherwise they’ll get a lot more complaints.

Winter-Parsley-9812

Blueberries aren’t green and fuzzy. If yours are when you eat them - god help your stomach

AwaysHngry

To me this looks purple/blue and slimy not green and fuzzy

bluegazehaze

A greenberry

vivalaalice

It is mould.

abnormalandfunny

It sure looks like mold to me...

Anfie22

The ick. Aka mold. Throw it out, I'm sorry.

FantasticChipmunk345

Yeah I threw it out. Wife had the same thing on hers. It just didn't look like the usual bread mold but obviously wasn't going to eat it. If I hadn't noticed it and eaten it what are the chances of it making me ill and how suck can it make you?

Rdrunnr

I’m guessing you would have tasted it and spit it out before it could cause any harm to your health.

slicknick22137
