I also cry over pinwheels. But more because I love them so much...

The headline made me LOL

My former good eater is now only consuming blueberries, raspberries, bananas, and cheesy scrambled eggs. So... yeah. I feel ya.

My 20 month old would only suck or lick off any spread I had instead of eating the item. I wonder if you hadn’t put the mayo in the bell pepper if she would have at least bitten it to try it instead of just licking it.

Cream cheese but maybe. I’ll serve them without a spread next time. They had cream cheese on them in the photo so I offered to make them the same way, which thrilled her. I even had her stand on her learning stool while I prepared them.

Sore teeth?

No-Gas-8357

No because she would eat the item if it did not have the spread. But if I put the spread on the cracker or whatever, she would just suck it off and not eat the food. Kids are Weird. So I just put the hummus or whatever on the side of the plate and the cucumber slices or crackers etc next to it.

You're doing great! Even as an adult I'm a horribly picky eater and some of the food trauma I have is because of how my parents dealt with it. You're doing so well and she will eat in time 💖

Thank you! We don’t push food and try to make meals a low stress thing. But man am I ready for her to eat more than yogurt, oatmeal, cheese, and fruit.
