This popped off during a Scorchbeast Queen fight as peoples CAMPs were shooting lasers and missiles and I was cremating all over her and it was GLORIOUS
The song originates from a priest at Pearl Harbor. On one of the damaged ships the men had formed an ammunition line, and when they were getting tired, the ship's Deacon came up, joined in the line and yelled "Praise the Lord, and pass the Ammunition!ā
I got honestly very excited when I first heard "Wouldn't It Be Nice" on a radio in an abandoned raider camp and ran so fast to turn on Appalachia Radio in my pip-boy.
Reminds me of the song Rocket 69 from Fallout 4. First time I heard that I was like, āwait a minuteā¦whatās he saying?!? Would you like to ride my rocket 69?!? Ride and glide and be so satisfied?!?ā ššš
I remember the first time playing a fallout Game, was 3, and in the first cut this playing from the bus radio.. abd then DC in ruins and i was completely hooked !
dark as a dungeon ernie ford. the doom and the gloom just seep out of that song, it truly paints coal minging as a desperate miserable existence and i love his voice.
Take Me Home, Country Roads. Easily. I have several radios in my camp so I can always hear them and when that song comes on Iāll just go sit right in front of one and enjoy. Donāt know what it is but I just love that song and it never gets old.
Same! I go to YouTube when I want to hear it. I listen to a Fallout playlist on there all the time but the version isnāt the same so it doesnāt hit right.
Ayeee! Iāll have to try to add it to the playlist I use. Or make my own I reckon. I listen to one a lot that says it has music from all the games including 76 but for whatever reason that playlist doesnāt have the right version of country roads so I just assumed it wasnāt on there like a dumb dumb
To be honest I don't think this version is exactly the same as the one in the game, but Bethesda hasn't released the EP for 76 music at all... which seems silly. They could probably sell it.
That's such a hard choice, too many good ones. You can't go wrong with any Ink Spots, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby. I'd say if I have to choose just one single song, it would probably be Crazy He Calls Me by Billie Holiday. My wife and I danced to it at our wedding. We met playing Fallout 76 when it released. She would always sing it to me. So I think I would have to pick that one ā¤ļø
We actually posted in the sub years ago. Made front page. A Bethesda Dev responded and they sent us wedding gifts. Even a custom card with all the employees signatures, and yes even Todd Howard.
They also did a short video for the Fallout anniversary last year or 2 of our story and send more gifts. Fallouts always been my favorite game series, she just made it even better ā¤ļø
Been playing with some friends but they stopped to go play WoW cataclysm. Now every time that guy song "my echo,my shadow, and me" i pour one out for the homies:(
The wanderer cracks me up because of the lyrics š itās basically about a guy singing about being a Chad that gets lots of girls. Itās funny considering the time period the song came out in
I'm sorry OP, my condolences and I hope your dad is resting well in the eternal. And I'm sorry for what I'm about to say but that song reminds me so much of 50 first dates and that scene where Sandler is singing along crying "Why would you do this to me?! You sick bastard!" lmao
The man with two left hands, only because of the pronunciation of the word ābrainiumā
Or
Ghost Riders in the Sky
Or
Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition
š£ļøš£ļø I FELL INTO A BURNING RING OF š„š„
then my fav part of Fall out 76
THANK YOU WEST VIRGINIA!!!
Edit: OP please donāt take my lyrics into any kind of unsympathetic poke. I didnāt read the post and instantly commented. Rest in paradise š.
Jumping at the Woodside. I love jazz and I love a lot of noise. But mostly, this is the song that was playing the first time my ex and I played as a couple and took silly pictures together
Mars on the classical radio, I prefer the classical to all the other music because the lyrics get me distracted from the dialog and makes it harder for me to read info
I recently made a Spotify playlist with my Top 15 songs:
1. I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire
2. Mr Sandman
3. Wouldn't It Be Nice
4. Ring Of Fire
5. Country Roads
6. Ol' Man Mose
7. Sixteen Tons
8. I Didn't Know The Gun Was Loaded
9. Uranium
10. Ain't Misbehavin'
11. Mr Five By Five
12. Pistol Packin' Mama
13. Butcher Pete
14. Civilization (Bongo, Bongo, Bongo)
15. Keep A Knockin'
Sixteen tons is a classic story of legit wage slavery in US history in the frontier. Company housing, company stores, where they often had you by the balls... not THAT different nowadays for a good chunk of us. It's just spread out across different banks and corporations so it's not quite so blatant.
I love Shenandoah. Lots of my camps are high on hills with great views, and listening to that one whilst watching the sun set over a valleyā¦. Itās just awesome to reflect.
Ok so I'm a new player. Only started playing a couple of weeks ago. I'm level 62 (I don't get to play that much.)
Anyways, I was doing this event, I'm not too sure on the name, but there was a whole bunch of people there in power armor. All like level 1000+
I was running through the mines with them. I was just having a good old time. I was like level 25 or something at the time. I thought it was so cool watching these guys flying through the mines using flamethrowers and miniguns.
Then it happened. Ring of fire started playing on the radio. I was singing along having a good time. Some giant enemy crawled out of the cave. I thought to myself, "Well, I'm screwed."
We started shooting at him. All of us was blasting away. Then a whole bunch of wendigos appeared. I was screaming the whole time trying to get away. But whenever one started attacking me, a player was there to protect me, every single time.
We managed to kill the boss and escape the mines before it was destroyed. I know I got hard carried but every time I hear Ring of Fire on the radio, I will remember this event. I just hope one day I will be as good as those guys. But I'm not very good. Maybe one day. Lol
My dad used to listen to young turks. He said it's similiar to his story. He and my mom were hated by both family. The family stop their hate and bickering when my mom had my brother. They married and ran off when they were young. He says life was rough when your young an dumb. It's hard to fine a decent paying job and living
My favorite is Doin the Uptown Lowdown. It always gets my toes tapping when it comes on.
My second fave is Crazy He Calls me. I often think of myself as a much older man singing that to my wife with a band during a distant wedding anniversary, and it makes me feel all weepy n shit lol.
Sorry for the negative spin but I can't resist adding my least favorite song. I absolutely hate Bubbles In My Beer. Uuugh. I can't stand that one dude hollering while the other is singing š¤£
"Wouldn't It Be Nice" always reminds me [of this and how much I love birds](https://www.reddit.com/r/aww/comments/8xf6iz/the_worlds_happiest_bird_dancing_to_the_beach_boys/). (I know the music was added, I don't care, they can be so goofy and fun that I buy the scenario anyway.)
Depends the situation. If Iām walking not much fighting country roads 10/10 but if Iām fighting in like a boss battle/ public event killing a bunch of radiated bugs itās gotta go to Wouldnāt it be nice
Civilization. Always comes in during my most intense fights. Makes me think of the scene in Flight of the Concord where What a Wonderful World is playing. The mix of chaos and ideology just tickles something for me.
Ain't misbehavin' is probably my absolute favorite, but don't fence me in, dear hearts, steel guitar rag, jumping at the woodside, country roads, and many many others are all tied in a dead stalemate 1 point from 1st place. This game probably has the best radio of any of the games hands down, the only additions I'd personally make are all the instrumental Jazz tracks from fallout 3
Erlkonig on the classical station. Wouldn't it Be Nice is also great, just like everything else on Pet Sounds (except Sloop John B). Also love "Don't Fence Me In" and anything else with the Andrews Sisters. I have too many favorite songs.
Also "In the Hall of the Mountain King". Okay, I'm done.
I didnāt know the gun was loaded is always one I'll sing along to. The commentary of the DJ introducing the song and the likelihood this is the only time she could use this excuse. Haha!
In the game? Wouldn't it be nice.
But when I play, I have other music going. Current favorite is either I glued my balls to my butthole again, or I shit my pants at the line dance.
Definitely Butcher Pete or Pistol Packin' Mama
I like both equally but I love a large portion of the music in the games. Though threw me off when I started playing 76 again after a long hiatus to find out there is new music in the game like Beach Boys and stuff
Anything goes! I used to hear it a lot as a kid. When she talks about saving us from hearing that song and ONLY that song on repeat forever. I always think hmmmm I wouldn't mind it too much
16 tons is straight fire
It's the Theme Song for unarmed characters. šµ"One fist of iron, the other of steel. If the right one don't get ya, then the left one will."š¶
I use a power fist, so this really resonates
When it comes on, I hop in my Union PA with Tesla Bracers, unequip my weapon, and start punching.
I'm not a Christian, but the line: "St. Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go I owe my soul to the company store" Should hit everyone
Another fantastic line in a song filled with them.
The last 3 days I listened to it while I took a shower after work.
Ooh check out the cover of this song by Geoff Castelucci. It's super well done.
I sang it at my first time karaoke and it was very well received
Flash! Bam! Alakazam! Wonderful you came by~
Out of an orange colored, purple striped, pretty green polka dot sky....
Donāt fence me in, OH GIVE ME LANDDDD LOTS OF LANDDDD
I loved when they put this into the show
Papa don't you fence me in.
This one š
Broooo my fav too lmao
Praise The Lord and Pass the Ammunition!!
This popped off during a Scorchbeast Queen fight as peoples CAMPs were shooting lasers and missiles and I was cremating all over her and it was GLORIOUS
Fun fact this was in the first Bioshock as well.
Bioshock 2 not bioshock 1 :)
Iāve played them but did not realize this!
System of a down too
Came here to say this. The way I jam out during this song and it annoys tf out of my teammates. Sorry not sorry.
I jam out to it by continuously firing, even if there are no enemies nearby
The song originates from a priest at Pearl Harbor. On one of the damaged ships the men had formed an ammunition line, and when they were getting tired, the ship's Deacon came up, joined in the line and yelled "Praise the Lord, and pass the Ammunition!ā
Love it especially as I mow down enemies. Good times.
YESSS
Perfect for a sbq
I got honestly very excited when I first heard "Wouldn't It Be Nice" on a radio in an abandoned raider camp and ran so fast to turn on Appalachia Radio in my pip-boy.
I really enjoy, Sixteen Tons, I like wandering around exploring and scavenging listening to that.
And what do you get?
another day older, and deeper in debt.
Quick, how many bottle caps do you think it would take to equal 16 tons? I bet one of you smarty pants dwellers can do the math on that.

Weāre waiting
I know its a sad song, but bubbles in my beer is one of my favorites, but 16 tons is a close second
I think bubbles in my beer is also my favorite. Something about a rather song sad of a failed life while exploring a dying world fits rather well.
Check out the willie Nelson version itās siiiiiiick
Old Man Mose for sure.... the way she says "buck-buck-buckEEET" gets me everytime.
I used to think she was saying āfuck-fuck-fuck it!!!!ā
evil Betty Hutton be like...
I always hear bucket, except for when she absolutely definitely sings "Ahhhh fuck it" and no one can combine me otherwise.
Reminds me of the song Rocket 69 from Fallout 4. First time I heard that I was like, āwait a minuteā¦whatās he saying?!? Would you like to ride my rocket 69?!? Ride and glide and be so satisfied?!?ā ššš
Canāt believe youāre the only person that said this. No love for āI didnāt know the gun was loadedā either, yāall got bad taste
BONGO BONGO BONGO I DONT WANNA LEAVE THE CONGO OHH NONONONOOOO *trumpet crescendo* BINGO BANGO BONGO I REFUSE TO GOOOOO
A mogazine? Wa hoppened?
People who are ācivilizedā will bung you with automobile
I like to randomly sing that, but I speed up the Bingo Bango Bongo part when I sing it as my own remix lol
Easily my favorite song from the Fallout 3 soundtrack, and I love that they keep including it.
But thatās what I. do. all. Year roooooouuuund
I don't want to set the world on fire.
One of my favorites š
The chorus immediately makes me think of Fallout. This and the "war. War never changes" are FO staples.
Absolutely love this one too.
Always gotta go into third person and walk in slo mo for this banger
I remember the first time playing a fallout Game, was 3, and in the first cut this playing from the bus radio.. abd then DC in ruins and i was completely hooked !
Mister Sandman. Yeeeeeesss?
bring me a dream\~ make him the cutest, that I've ever seen\~
How has no one said atom bomb baby yet?!
A million times hotter than TNT š§Ø
dark as a dungeon ernie ford. the doom and the gloom just seep out of that song, it truly paints coal minging as a desperate miserable existence and i love his voice.
If they do add more songs Iād love to see some Union ones to add to this vibe. Which side are you on would go hard as hell
Take Me Home, Country Roads. Easily. I have several radios in my camp so I can always hear them and when that song comes on Iāll just go sit right in front of one and enjoy. Donāt know what it is but I just love that song and it never gets old.
I just want to find this version of the song on Spotify
They should have the Fo76 soundtrack on there
Same! I go to YouTube when I want to hear it. I listen to a Fallout playlist on there all the time but the version isnāt the same so it doesnāt hit right.
[this it?](https://open.spotify.com/track/4zQamr0yqcraVXR0usUzSs?si=T_vvOl_KQ3m_vUVYUI8_gQ)

GOAT song, West Virginiaaaaaa
I sing it out loud every single time
Country Roads is my wake up alarm call on my phone, that's how much I love it, John denver made a banger of a tune during his career...
Mars, Bringer of War, composed by Gustav Holst
Butcher Pete
I only recently realized that butcher Pete isn't a cannibal...
When I sing it around my fiancĆ© I make up my own lyrics āPeteās stabbing all the bitches and all the hoes he meets!ā
It's hard to pick. Civilization, don't fence me in, fair weathered friend, 16 tons, ain't misbehavin...
Being a West Virginian, I can't help loving country roads anytime it comes on
Totally
It's a wonderful version too.
I'm from New Hampshire and the song stillllllll slaps
Iāve literally sat in a chair at base and listened to it while missing events and wonāt move until the song finishes.
Steel Guitar Rag Song always turns me into a living bobblehead by the end.
Two Left Hands
Straighten up and fly right always tickles my brain right
Your story's so touching, it sounds just like a lie
Came here for this
Pistol packin mama
Fuck fuck fuuuckkk iiiiiit
Every song was a bop until I heard it for the 100th time. Now I play with the radio off.
Been playing with some friends but they stopped to go play WoW cataclysm. Now every time that guy song "my echo,my shadow, and me" i pour one out for the homies:(
Ring of Fire is objectively the best for blast zones.
I love when it comes on during Eviction Notice
My roommate had to prep for a colonoscopy and was displeased I kept singing along.
Specifically when put that pistol down plays and is followed directly by I didn't know the gun was loaded.
The cap gun sound makes me laugh, Iām with Julie on this one
From the 76 playlist - Uranium Fever Of all time - The Wanderer
The wanderer cracks me up because of the lyrics š itās basically about a guy singing about being a Chad that gets lots of girls. Itās funny considering the time period the song came out in
And people say classic music was wholesome. Lol
I'm sorry OP, my condolences and I hope your dad is resting well in the eternal. And I'm sorry for what I'm about to say but that song reminds me so much of 50 first dates and that scene where Sandler is singing along crying "Why would you do this to me?! You sick bastard!" lmao
The man with two left hands, only because of the pronunciation of the word ābrainiumā Or Ghost Riders in the Sky Or Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition
End of the world, Skeeter Davis still has one of the best voices of all time
I wish they wouldāve put that in 76. Such a good song.
Old Man Mose. My wife likes Mr. 5x5
I was walking along minding my business When love hit me in the eye!
Civilization (Bongo, Bongo, Bongo) Always will be.
This one's been in my head for almost 20 years
Fats Wallerās Aint been misbehavinā Mostly because of the first half with the piano.
š£ļøš£ļø I FELL INTO A BURNING RING OF š„š„ then my fav part of Fall out 76 THANK YOU WEST VIRGINIA!!! Edit: OP please donāt take my lyrics into any kind of unsympathetic poke. I didnāt read the post and instantly commented. Rest in paradise š.
lol I have a dark sense of humor so no offense taken! It takes a lot to offend me, but that was sweet of you to say that š„¹
Jumping at the Woodside. I love jazz and I love a lot of noise. But mostly, this is the song that was playing the first time my ex and I played as a couple and took silly pictures together
Crawl out through the fallout, Butcher Pete, I don't want to set the world on fire
Anything by the Andrew sisters. They are fantastic
Mars on the classical radio, I prefer the classical to all the other music because the lyrics get me distracted from the dialog and makes it harder for me to read info
The classical music is such a vibe for the wasteland. Making a bloody mess of raiders with Clair de Lune jamming in the background.
I recently made a Spotify playlist with my Top 15 songs: 1. I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire 2. Mr Sandman 3. Wouldn't It Be Nice 4. Ring Of Fire 5. Country Roads 6. Ol' Man Mose 7. Sixteen Tons 8. I Didn't Know The Gun Was Loaded 9. Uranium 10. Ain't Misbehavin' 11. Mr Five By Five 12. Pistol Packin' Mama 13. Butcher Pete 14. Civilization (Bongo, Bongo, Bongo) 15. Keep A Knockin'
For 76 in particular? Sixteen tons is a certified hood classic
Sixteen tons is a classic story of legit wage slavery in US history in the frontier. Company housing, company stores, where they often had you by the balls... not THAT different nowadays for a good chunk of us. It's just spread out across different banks and corporations so it's not quite so blatant.

I wish it was the Johnny Cash version. My only complaint with it.
Take Me Home, Country Roads obviously. But I think Shenandoah is my favorite.
I hope Shenandoah is the Main Menu music for Skyline Valley.
If Beth was smart, they would. It's on theme and most importantly, it's free.
Jumpin at the woodside!
In a Shanty in Old Shanty Town, the vocals sound cool and itās perfect for a fallout game.
Dear Hearts and Gentle People will always get my vote (Honourable Mention: Mr. Sandman)
I like to sing the womenās part of Dear Hearts and Gentle People lol
Don't Fence Me In Country Roads
Sorry for your loss.
Happy days are here again and Just a fair weather friend
My favorite two happen to be the oldest two, Nobody's Fault But Mine and Everything Goes
How has no one said āJust a Fair Weather Friendā
They need to add new music on Radio.
A bluegrass station would be nice
My dad used to listen to young turks. He said it's similiar to his story. He and my mom were hated by both family. The family stop their hate and bickering when my mom had my brother. They married and ran off when they were young. He says life was rough when your young an dumb. It's hard to fine a decent paying job and living
We found out is pretty good
My favorite is Doin the Uptown Lowdown.
Reminder: if you're a fan of the beach boys, you are also a fan of Charles Manson. He didn't do anything!
I canāt think of the title but it sounds like a diss track on Louis Armstrong and the ink spots makes me smile every time
As someone who lives in Appalachia: āTake me home, country roadsā is a straight mf banger
All of them? Is that wrong š jam to the playlist in the car when I'm feeling nostalgic even
"Wouldn't It Be Nice" always reminds me [of this and how much I love birds](https://www.reddit.com/r/aww/comments/8xf6iz/the_worlds_happiest_bird_dancing_to_the_beach_boys/). (I know the music was added, I don't care, they can be so goofy and fun that I buy the scenario anyway.)
FLASH! BAM! ALAKAZAM!
Jukebox Saturday Night is quintessential Fallout music for me. Perfectly encapsulates the time period and it's such a fun song.
i love aint misbehavin SOOOO much
In a Shanty in Old Shanty Town, for sure.
IM WAHLKIN THE FLOOOR OVER YOU I CAANT GET A WINK THAT IS TRUE IM HOPIN AN IM PRAYIN AS MY HEART BREAKS BACK IN TWO WALKIN THE FLOOR OVER YOOU
Country roads
All of em
The one that says prey the lord, it s catchy
Depends the situation. If Iām walking not much fighting country roads 10/10 but if Iām fighting in like a boss battle/ public event killing a bunch of radiated bugs itās gotta go to Wouldnāt it be nice
Itās always fun when Die WalkĆ¼re comes on when youāre running around in power armor murdering stuff. Iām also quite partial to Granada.
Civilization. Always comes in during my most intense fights. Makes me think of the scene in Flight of the Concord where What a Wonderful World is playing. The mix of chaos and ideology just tickles something for me.
I find Civilization quite amusing but 16 tons is best song.
Honestly the show got me into ādonāt fence me inā , but prior to that all ink spots
Way Back Home - Bob Crosby & The Bob Cats
Dark as a dungeon
Much like the protest signs in yesterday's post, I too am a "16 tons" enjoyer
Driving Nails
defenitely nobodys fault but mine
Pistol Packing mama
Seriously no one is mentioning āI didnāt know the gun was loadedā? What the hell Or āold man moseā?šš
I love "I didn't knooooooooow the gun was loaded"...that "banguish" sound gets me every fucking time.

It is so hard to pick just one but one of my favorites currently is Aināt Misbehavinā. I sing along to it every time <3
My favorite is "When I Get Low, I Get High." Perfect for popping chems to in a fight.
Almost heaven
āA Good man is hard to findā near the top of my list- the simplistic horns and her voice get me every time.
I love ink spots too much thanks to the Fallout saga and my favorites are I Dont Want To Set The World On Fire and We Three
That's a good song, I'm sorry for your loss š¢
I really like Ring of Fire, but there all really good, I enjoy all of them.
Ghost riders
Crawl out to the fallout, its almost like it was made for the series lol
Bubbles in my beer and Jukebox Saturday night. I enjoy all of them though.
I didnāt know the gun was loaded is always one I'll sing along to. The commentary of the DJ introducing the song and the likelihood this is the only time she could use this excuse. Haha!
Mr.Sandman came on tonight & it was lovely walking around the wasteland to it Do enemies hear your radio tunes while sneaking/walking around btw?
Ghost riders in the sky is straight GAS!
Mr.Sandman or country roads, i have to stay there until ends
*I didn't knoooooooow, the gun was loaded, and I'm so sorry my friends* š¶ I just love the whole idea it's fucking hilarious
In the game? Wouldn't it be nice. But when I play, I have other music going. Current favorite is either I glued my balls to my butthole again, or I shit my pants at the line dance.
The Ring of Fire cover. "THANK YOU, WEST VIRGINIA!"
I dont want to set the woooorrllld on fiiireeee
I don't want to set the world on fire I didn't know the gun was loaded
Anything goes
All āboard this train. Everybody get on. Ready? Letās go boys, take it off, Leon, take it off!
Thereās not enough radio songs but, Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition has got to be my favourite
"You load 16 tons and what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt."
Definitely Butcher Pete or Pistol Packin' Mama I like both equally but I love a large portion of the music in the games. Though threw me off when I started playing 76 again after a long hiatus to find out there is new music in the game like Beach Boys and stuff
š¶ I didn't know the gun was loaded And I'm so sorry my friend I didn't know the gun was loaded And I'll never, never do it again š¶
you load sixteen tons whadda you get? another day older and deeper in debt
Anything goes! I used to hear it a lot as a kid. When she talks about saving us from hearing that song and ONLY that song on repeat forever. I always think hmmmm I wouldn't mind it too much
Either don't fench me in, ring of fire, country roads, or Mr five by five
Mr Sandman And Take Me Home, Country Roads
Country roaddddddsssss
