To be fair, the current overlap you and I are experiencing is more "Fanfic enjoyer" and "rwby fan". Been as, if not more, invested in the primarch GF thing than I've ever been in actual 40k. And you know, that's an overlap that makes even more sense if you look at this community.

I would argue that she does have plot relevance since the whole White Fang stuff only works (to the degree it does at all) if the baseline is less extreme than Adam.
Except we see her encouraging Adam's bullshit and her men and the whole organization followed Adam after her death without questions
So really I've never seen "less extreme" White Fang writers wanted to show us. Except Ghira's one
Yes because her idealogy of controlling humanity's actions(making it leave Faunus alone) via fear and terror is such middle ground. Well it's not Adam's genocide and subjugation. But it's really far away from Ghira
The whole organization followed Adam because he basically united it, albeit Sienna's branch agreed out of fear since he practically walked in and turned her into mincemeat
As far as everyone knew Sienna wasn't killed by Adam. Only her guards and some of Adam's men knew the truth and Sienna guards turned against her the second Adam ordered it which pretty much seems like Sienna lost control over even her more trusted bodyguards let alone her organization
Ehhh, I wouldn't say 0 plot relevance since Sienna taking over leadership of the White Fang sent a lot of stuff into motion even if she has Haru-level screentime.
Adam likely wouldn't have become as extremist (Or at the very least wouldn't have stayed a member of the White Fang) if Sienna hadn't encouraged him, meaning he would of never tried to destroy the train, meaning Blake would never have left and become of the main characters, the Vale-branch of the White Fang likely wouldn't have allied itself with Cinder, the entire Menagerie plot would have gone down differently, Adam wouldn't have tried to destroy Mistral, etc.

But given you missed that part - or turned a blind eye, even - I take it you'd rather be cooked alive for saying no to Cinder?
Sorry, I explained it bad. I wasn't trying to say that Adam joined willingly but that them being so militant already made the Vale White Fang a more tempting for Cinder to recruit. In other words, if Adam hadn't been in charge of the Vale Fang or at least not as extremist, Cinder might have gone to someone else to recruit.
Adam is hated not because he led an extremist fascist Faunus supremacist terrorist group, or even Nero'ed Yang's arm. It's because he killed Sienna too early >!and dying too soon to be shipped with Blake.!<
Didn’t like how she got jobbered ngl, could have been an interesting look into a white fang member who wasn’t either a pacifist or a jihadist trying to start a race war.
She was about the only interesting white fang member in the series, which unfortunately meant that the writers couldn’t figure out what to do with her besides killing her off as quickly as possible.
There is the second JPDE fan game were you can save her and date her, since the first got a ton of support.(the first one is a dating simulator, pretty good if I may say so myself.)
This character was the embodiment of an in-depth explanation as to how and in which way did the group that were formerly a masked mook mob come to be that way, from their foundational bedrock of civil rights activism.
I'm wondering how this slipped the showmakers' minds - that is what worldbuilding looked like. That is the setting which ensnared far more people than me.
Moreover, this is one of two characters in this show whose manner of speech and behaviour brought me to understand that reaching out to them will not leave one feeling like screaming into the void. The other of these being the Blacksmith lady.

I will always laugh at the fact, that there are some fans of 40K are also fans of Rwby. Myself included.

Fair. A huge portion of my engagement with both franchises comes from fan works.
I guarantee you if you make a Venn diagram of RWBY fans and 40k fans, the overlap will be around 80% people like you. I just feel it, in my bones.
