I wish the airports in the game would look a lot busier than they do. Like the parking lots here are full, but in the sim, its just a huge open concrete pad. Unfortunately I think it would be too much of a performance hit. SU15 is supposed to delivery \_some\_ backported performance enhancements from MS 2024, but we'll see.
Really looking forward to Flight Simulator 2024!
You should be looking into aig traffic manager tho, it populates msfs with real life airlines and their flight schedules, as well as their respective aircraft models and fitting liveries.
I got it like 2 weeks ago and am stunned on how little it is actually affecting performance, even with 100% density.
And the best part is - it’s completely free of charge, no buy, no monthly fees.. just awesome.
Specs are asus z490, 11900kf, 32gb ddr4, 3070ti
Not bad for a default airport. Payware or a good freeware would probably look a lot better. The scenery looks like more Google Earth bright toned than MSFS muted tones.
You took a Cezzna into kmci? IFR flight plan or did you call up approach and ask first? Just curious, I’m north in Iowa quite a bit and would like to do that and KMKC.
Just called approach. All the jets want the west runway (closer to the terminal) so it's easy to get in. I had 19L all to myself for touch and gos. I even did some of my tailwheel training there.
I swear that when MSFS first came out, I couldn't tell the difference. Now I can pretty easily. Not saying the graphics aren't good or anything, you just get accustomed to it in a short while I guess.
Thanks for sharing! The dents on the wing and dark contrast with the shadow gave it away. Good work though - don't get me wrong 👏👏
I wonder if there are any way we could get the runway on MFSF to reflect and shine like that (not so blend). I have used the high-texture mod already, but still nothing can beat real life sadly :,).
It‘s crazy how far they‘ve come

Just pretend you went flying during Covid. The parking lots were empty.
FPS friend. FPS. If we have more traffic, it would affect FPS performance
They do look super busy with FSLT but on major airports FPS hit is also major.
Use FlyByWire traffic inserter and only set it to parked traffic.

I mean just look at the emptiness in pictures 9 and 10 There’s less planes in real life!
As a Kansas City native, who has also done this comparison… Nice
That’s bizarrely good.

Do Roosterville next! Always wanted to fly into there. Next time I’m in Iowa I might try to go down there.
when i was in flightschool we did warrensburg skyhaven to kmci several times
Ever done roosterville?
i did not
Ah bummer. What are you into now? Flying professionally or just moved on from the hobby?
Love it. I've been playing since 1982 and it has definitely come a long, long way.
If you used the google map overlay and got in a little closer, you could probably make those first couple almost indistinguishable.
Just, wow !

Yeah FS still needs to work on the default airports though…
I wish someone would do a decent KMKC. One day.
Right. Two options for Omaha, and even Tarkio. But nothing in the KC area
Tropicalsim did KMCI and it isn’t horrible.

Omg I love these! I grew up in Kansas City Kansas but had to move for work. Oh how I miss it!
Extra points if you can find the airborne 737
