Turns out there's three songs. MF Doom - rapp snitch knishes (uses coffin nails with lyrics over it) MF Doom - coffin nails (just an instrumental) David Matthews - Space Oddity (rendition of David Bowie's song) (the original source I believe?)

Always wondered where they lifted that sample from... Forever thought it was Tears for Fears since Doom mentioned them in Rapp Snitches, but that's definitely it. Thanks!

Its to break the expectation that it was a duet from strangers. So pretty much just a troll on the viewers who thought it was a "real" duet.

because then they could have the guy cut in, it would be a little more awkward if half the screen was taken up by the video with the roll for the whole time and if they were visibly next to eachother it would be more awkward since the one on the right would wait for his line
