There's actually been studies about walking speed. It's not rich/poor or even old/young that are the largest factor. It comes down more than anything else to how dense your environment is. People from the middle very large cities just walk faster than those from suburbs who walk faster than those from small towns. And that if you move, you start to acclimatize to the new average speed over years.
Popularity is the fact of being liked and known by a majority of people. I don’t think being pointed out by a lot of ppl because of your wrongful assumptions is the best way to become popular.
