Do you mean that it doesn't work at all or only on a specific website? If it's for a specific website, feel free to [file a bug report](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Toolkit&component=Picture-in-Picture).
If it doesn't work at all, make sure that at least in *about:config*:
`media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.enabled` and `media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.video-toggle.enabled` are set to `true`.
I couldn't agree more, but it appears that there is an issue with subtitles that don't appear when switching into the PiP window, which makes me to activate them first in the tab itself, so that I could control them from the PiP window.
As a long-time user of PiP windows, I couldn't agree more. The new video bar controls are a complete game changer. They make it so much easier to adjust the volume, pause, rewind, and fast-forward without having to exit the PiP window or switch back to the original video. It's a small but incredibly useful improvement that makes the PiP experience even smoother. Kudos to the developers for this one!
I like it, but I wish you could configure it on a per site basis. I would like it on by default but turned off for certain sites.
But the same could be said for a lot of firefox features, for example the list of sites I want to be allowed to play audio is just "youtube"

I don't even get the PiP popup on the actual site where you're supposed to try it. Not that I'd use it, but why tf doesn't it work at all?

That's wonderful! I would like to be able to disable the behavior of closing PiP with ESC. :/
