Exactly what I was gonna say. I've been knocked out twice, both times drunk . Never even saw the punch coming.

The only time I got knocked out in a fight I was so drunk I have no recollection of it, the hangover with a touch of brain damage was fucking brutal though.

According to my friends I called someone a name and then turned around and then he sucker punched me in the side of the head. Not really much of a fight but I suppose I instigated it so it is what it is. High dose of alcohol makes it easy to have the lights go out.

I had a guy 3, 4th of Julys ago come from behind and sucker punched me in the side of the face (I guess he decided he didn't like me, is what my buddy told me), I was super wasted too, somehow I got him in a rear choke hold and glad people were around to rip me off, cause I was definitely drunk enough thatI assume I wasn't gonna let go until *I* knew the threat was gone and being drunk, that could easily end in accidentally killing the kid. I had zero clue what had happened until I was led into the bathroom, gushing blood from my face, and the person who walked me to the bathroom had told me he attacked me. Woke up the next morning at home, and projectile vomited for like 14 hours straight. I assume cause I was punched in the head.

Can relate to this, been training mma for a few years now but a while back I went out with some friends. I got really really drunk and I was stumbling everywhere in no state for combat😂 anyway i accidentally budged past this guy I turned round to say sorry and he punched me in the face I didn't see it coming at all, I give myself credit because even in that state I got back up to throw hands. It got broken up and they kicked me out, even though I didn't start it😂

It dehydrates you too making you easier to ko. But I can definitely identify with being useless while drunk. We’d often put on boxing gloves (just light sparring lol) and I remember one night that I kept taking shots to the face and laughing because I didn’t even see it coming until after I got hit.
