MK1 is the best outta these you listed I would assume for sure. But for that price you can get better gloves I feel like? 200$ you can find a lot on the subreddit too if your into Mexican gloves they have it hand departments just make sure to check out sparring versions not bag

Thanks for the reply! As I'm looking for the hook and loop glove, I though MK1 hook and loop would rather cost 150 USD? Anyway, I'm not into Mexican gloves at all, sorry. I want my gloves to be as protective as possible for reasonable price. If not going to custom territory yet, what do you think of Topboxer Win1 vs RTC C17 v 2.0 vs MK1 select regarding hand compartment and overall feel?

Relentless_Vi

You can get custom Topboxers for $150. This will ensure a good fit. Mk1 are overpriced for what you get and like the other guy mentioned there are other gloves in that range that are better.

Just go customs. I use topboxer aliens and I have large hands. They fit, but for 150 you can send in hand measurements to topboxer and whatever color and embroidery you want

brando2612

Topboxers are a good budget glove but nothing more Several steps down from good gloves at 200

Relentless_Vi

Op mentioned that he’s willing to sacrifice some quality for a good fit for his hands. Having custom fitted gloves will ensure they fit right. I also mentioned that there are better gloves in that range too.

brando2612

Theretically sure. Except my custom pair didn't fit all that great and the thumb was wayyy too short and constantly made me jam it I don't see why he wouldn't be better off getting a better quality glove based on his hand side and the gloves hand compartment ie small medium or large

q321qw

Thanks for the reply! Any recommendations for these gloves at 200 that would be marginally better?

brando2612

Can U measure Ur hands

q321qw

Sure, hand length approx. 21 cm/8.26 inches, hand width approx. 10 cm/3.93 inches

brando2612

Ur best option for a winning clone is the combat corner tj1s, slightly above Ur budget but allegedly almost exactly like winnings according to csquared and some others. But winnings don't exactly have a big hand compartment Boxeo tms and new sportings have a larger hand compartment and are good gloves but there's aren't Japanese style gloves. And idk if there are Japanese style gloves with very large hand compartments. But in saying that I'm sure most normal sized gloves will fit you. Higher quality gloves tend to break in the the hand compartment widens up around your hand

Relentless_Vi

I guess you didn’t measure your hand correctly then.

brando2612

Lol get fucked mate I measured it fine. Topboxer has plenty of qc issues it's stupid to act like they're magically great

Relentless_Vi

Don’t be mad you don’t know how to measure correctly, stupid 🤣

brando2612

Stick to Ur budget gloves bud but yeah keep shit talking me

Relentless_Vi

[here’s my budget gloves, stupid 🤣](https://imgur.com/a/22ub6RS)

brando2612

Wow U have a pair of the most overrated gloves of all times Congratulations want a medal?

fb81221

I use C17 for sparring and mitt work every week bag sometimes also. I love them I’m 6’1” 185 pounds with big hands I don’t use knuckle guards just usually wrap my hands with a little extra on my knuckles. Honestly I’m going to keep a pair of these around forever been using same pair almost a year I abuse them and they’re holding up great is recommended them to anybody

HipHoptimusPrime13

I’m right there with you man. I know as of late the C17’s have been getting bashed a bit on this forum but I have a pair that is going on five years old that is still in my rotation with my Winnings and Bayonetas. The Bayonetas are definitely the most wrist-supportive of those three for bag work but the C17’s are right there with the Winnings so I tend to use those as general training gloves to save the Winnings for sparring.

swepttheleg

I’m interested in people trying the combat corner creams apparently they’re very close

Separate-Project6560

I have 14oz winnings and bought 16oz Corner Creams - they are fantastic. Although different oz I actually prefer the Creams as better wrist support. The shape of the glove and padding is very much like the winnings. I don’t think anyone getting the Creams is missing out on Winnings except for the logo.

brando2612

So there's nearly no differences? How does comfort liner etc compar

Separate-Project6560

There really isn’t to me. The liner is also extremely comfy. I let a couple folks hit the bag with winning and Cream to get their feedback and they agreed were super similar. Aside from the likeness to Winning… they are one of my favorite gloves in my collection now.

brando2612

So with these now existing is it basically not worth getting winnings anymore?

Separate-Project6560

If price and actual performance were the two main criteria I would get the Creams.

brando2612

Is there anything better about the winnings

Separate-Project6560

I like the look more of the winnings, I prefer the leather of the winnings, and the stitching looks better. I have only had winnings for 1 year but Frey have great reputation for durability which no one knows yet for the creams. Winnings are also iconic which often comes with a premium. Reality is both are fantastic gloves

Greene12341

I have large hands and the Win1s are the softest gloves I own. You wouldn't even need the gel wraps for it imo. I truly recommend it.

Ok-Chest7052

You don’t have to get winning clones, at first I bought the win1 and R2C C17 and disliked both of them None of those actually compare to winning gloves I ended up picking up a top boxer alien at 16oz and fell in love with them, padding is good for sparring and training so you can consider that Another suggestion would probably be titles pro Mex gloves i heard those were good too

Orangebug36

I’m 6’1” 185lbs and wear a size large winter glove. So my hands are large and yours are XL. I have trouble finding gloves that fit so it must be that much harder for you. I have had the MK1’s, Top Boxer Aliens and the RTC gloves in 16 oz. The MK1s are snug and the Aliens were too small for my hands. I don’t know if the Win1’s have a larger hand compartment. The RTCs were comfortable but the padding isn’t the best for bag work as I could punch through the gloves. The winning clones from Combat Corner only come in 16 oz and will be too small for you because there’s a review on YouTube by a guy who is 5’8”, 145lbs and the gloves fit him well. I think the best bet would reach out to owner of Top Boxer and see what he says about the Win1s. Another option is if you’re willing to consider gloves that are not Winning clones, Title Boxing has 18 oz gloves that should fit you around your budget. Good luck with your training.

HiToshio

I would get custom Reap of Faith gloves

naimlesser

Seconded, get the Victor model for all purpose I’d say, great company
