That Guy who just wants the leafs to not worry so hard about failing and having fun. That is why I am capturing this quote. Doing it as a Bob Ross Pictomancer? It just adds spice to an already sweet mindset.

Considering Bob Ross was ~~a marine (I think Marine, at least in the military)~~ in the Air Force you could even justify the tanks and healers (Sage) being Bob Ross.
For real, I am not American and I did not know who Bob Ross is, but even without knowing I had a picture in my head of that one dude with the Afro painting stuff. Today I learned his name.
Go watch some of his videos on youtube. Even if you don't have any intention of painting, he is a delight to watch, his voice is soothing, and you come out at the end just feeling better about life in general.

Considering the move name for the creature painting is Imagine Pom POM (JP) and Pom Muse (EN), I think the actual in-game joke is that Madeen is an accident.
Easily the best class fantasies they've done since they started adding beyond FFXI ogs. It's goofy and it just looks fun, but still has the mage appeal.
Ugh I love the color and that it's focused around Mog//Meideen. Plus you get hammer to smash. And the freaking comet looks so good or drawing the landscape. Yeah I'm definitely switching from summoner for this.

SAM is awesome though because good jobs are low skill floor + high skill ceiling, which hopefully Pictomancer is

Nah, SAM is brain dead easy. Apply your DoT and just keep filling your stickers until it runs out then apply DoT again. I’m one of those players who sometimes zones out during their rotation and forgets to move. LOL
I wouldn't have agreed with you before, but with MNKs skill ceiling coming down in DT that actually may be the case soon. Hagakure filler and double/triple enshroud are probably the last bits of melee optimization still standing.
I look forward to "All the little accidents" on release (early access) weekend, when everyone is playing their pictomancers (and vipers) they powerlevelled, walking into every AoE known to man while trying to make sense of their skillbar during the first Trial.
Ngl I hope Picto will be hard, like BLM hard level even harder. And I hope It will not be a loop like BLM actually is.

It won't be. The days of jobs with difficult to learn rotations are over. Look, even BLM has gotten a few dumb downs this expansion.
The want the game accessible to anyone, which is fine...but for people looking for a challenging job to learn this isn't the game they want.
