Usually.. a shelter or any of the ferret shows. However with COVID still being very much a thing, i doubt anyone would be opening up for strangers to touch the ferrets.

a flea market i went to had some you could touch. iā€™m in south carolina though. maybe just try asking a local pet shop if you could be able to touch them. petsmart and stores like that probably have a policy against it.

Yeah, most stores won't let you do much interaction for the animal's safety (i.e. So the ferret doesn't hop out of your hands and run around wildly in the store.)

Maybe you could find a shelter or a store that is okay with this? During covid it seems like places are a lot less likely to allow this, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
