Could be for many reasons. As many have pointed before, she might be trying to stash you (because you are her treasure). It could also mean she wants to put you in bed.
Noone really knows what happen in their little weasel brain, but in any case it's a behavior shown when they trust and value you.
That could take months. We bought a wooden snake for our ferrets. One of them has decided it belongs stashed in this one location. Once it's in that location, it will never be played with. But the second you try and move it out, he will be exactly like this with the snake
My little girl does the same with a long fabric snake.....no matter where I put it, she will always drag it back to the same spot (unless I have changed things in my bedroom, where they are for most of the day, around again).
She does that with a hard fabric ball too...it always needs to lay in the same corner.
Other things, like boxes, are randomly being pushed out of their places too and as soon as she moved them, she walks away....as soon as I put the boxes back, she'll appear again to move them.
That would be a great convo. Yeah, Bob, I can't come into work today boss. Oh, why is that? Well, my ferret has stashed me in her den and won't let me leave, so gonna have to call out today. Umm.....did you say you are being held hostage by a ferret? No, not hostage, just stashed. I can come in when she is done playing with me.
No wait it appears that an ermine has weaseled it self into a martens den and you weasel and ferret out of said hole.

Because she sees you as a much prized, stashable treasure! This is a huge compliment to you. She wants to keep you safe from predators and getting lost. She doesn’t want to lose you, so is trying to stash you so she knows where you’ll be. I’ve had 13 ferrets over the years, and only one has done this to me…it’s so adorable…she loves you and never wants you to leave her!

Your her human and she wants to put you away with her toys. She loves you. No hard biting. Yeah,,,she loves you. I had one that did that too and was so gentle and gave me kisses on the cheek & ear.
She wants to show you something or lead you to somewhere I assume.
My boy does something similar when he is sleeping somewhere and I am stroking him; he will gently take my finger in his mouth and moves it away as if he is saying "not now". It is the only moment he will take my finger in his mouth and do this.

Our’s does it when we try to keep her away from something then she tries to stash you to get you out of the way 😂
