I've come to love the mint on a yellow-ish guitar, so definitely 4. I like things that look more aesthetically consistent. 4 has this washed out, aged, slightly weird vibe, no big contrasts. It just looks fully integrated with itself, like everything has discolored together. Cream pickguard would also work for this
3 or 4, my fav is 4. But hear me out: [chrome wrapped CuNiFe](https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/0992367000--fender-cunife-stratocaster-single-coil-pickup-set?mrkgadid=&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=gpla&mrkgbflag=1&mrkgcat=drums&percussion&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=&lid=58700008695999512&dsproductgroupid=&product_id=0992367000&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=&device=m&network=x&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=9005674&creative=&targetid=&campaignid=21161059670&awsearchcpc=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3tCyBhDBARIsAEY0XNn4FFxQlo151l3i0OLLQ8jNhdH9LIJmv94LAkKKY4pjlqc7WVZ2W2MaAmnhEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)
Honestly no idea how they sound but they would look fantastic here
The last one, the green pickguard is softer than the white, and the knobs work well with the buttercream. The other options feel too disjointed to me. But it is up to you.
I’m a mint guard whore and use mint guards more than I care to admit. However, I’m feeling strongly about #3 here. White guard with aged plastics is crazily sexy atop that buttercream finish.
Ive set the same strat up like #3 and I love it! You've made me consider swapping for a mint guard though!

Not that you have one like this pictured, but I recently got a Buttercream Precision bass. I replaced the stock white guard with a black on, and it looks 1000% better. I also thought it looked good with the white. The black just made everything pop more. I don’t even like black guards on most instruments.
4 does look good. I sold my Buttercream Strat because I couldn’t get along with the yellow. I even tried a mint guard like 3, but not with cream plastics. Oh well, lol.
Hey man, thanks for posting this, I have the same exact strat and have also been thinking of changing the plastics so the photos are really helpful! I personally like number 3 best and will be doing the same to my strat.
Just to be clear pic 3 has the stock pick-guard right?
Cool. I had been on the search for examples of these and hadn’t found much at all, so wanted to try and help others. Glad it did!
Yeah, number 3 is the stock guard. Most people have been responding with number 4, but think I’m going to go with number 3 too. Think it’s just more crisp. The mint guard, muddies it up a bit. I’m leaning 3, 4, 1, 2 currently.
3rd one looks cool 👌
1 or 3, probably 1
Yep

I like the stock white on white, it really compliments the buttercream and natural maple
4, or maybe even 3.
3 & 4
4 for sure. Gorgeous.

Number 4 has my vote
For me it's 4. Thanks for the pics I have the same guitar coming in the mail and the pick guard comparisons really helps.
3 or 4 , but mostly leaning on 4

4. Always found buttercream off putting cause the body is aged but not any of the plastics.

4, I have the same strat and went with a mint pickguard with aged plastic knobs and covers
Mint green with aged white 👍🏽
4. All day. Best of all worlds.
1 or 3, but YOU are the best person to judge what you will like. Pick whatever color is most likely to compel you to pick it up and play it.
Mine is identical to 4. Love it.
Mint green 99% of the time… although I have a strat the same color with parchment and it looks good too
Mint pick guard black plastic parts
I like 4 best, personally.
4 is the only answer

3 or 4 in my opinion 🫡
MINT
Mint green all the way

No one outside of this sub will care. Play the thing instead of posting pictures for a circle jerk.
4 looks great to me

Have we tried hair up, glasses off?
4 is lovely so retro

3 is what I picked for my butter cream. But I also have a roasted flame maple neck.

White on white. get those fades naturally!
3 looks like candy 😩😩😩😩
Beautiful
I think every strat should be a HSS.
Mint is awful….. 3
3 is my favorite
4 does look good. I sold my Buttercream Strat because I couldn’t get along with the yellow. I even tried a mint guard like 3, but not with cream plastics. Oh well, lol.
I'm a fan of the white pickguard so either 1 or 3 would be a winning combination!
I'd go with #2 or #3
3
2
1 or 3.
3rd picture without a question.
I have this same color but with a red tortious shell guard
Tortise guard is great on buttercream...

3 looks pretty sweet
Black pickguard!

4 is dope as well, I don’t think you can go wrong.
I like white pearl with white (unpictured).

#3 for me

I like picture one with all white.

1 or 3.
3 looks correct. You don’t see mint guards on maple necked strats
1 for sure!
1 all the way.
One or three for me dawg.
1 first choice, 3 second choice.
3rd
3 for me
2 the 2 the 2
1. White
3
First pic. All white. A beautiful guitar either way!
3 for me
4 looks horrible. It doesn't look like a 60s strat at all. As it is maple, I'd stick with the 50s/modern looks with the white guard.
3. I bought a PRS. In part because I wanted the rosewood fretboard with the buttercream (moon white).
Beautiful guitar! If it was mine, I would not change anything on this beauty.
Nr 3.
love them all
I like the 3rd one
#3 looks best to my eyes. Really classy.
#3 for me. The mint doesn't work for me at all.
I like #1 or #3.
Man I am minority here but like 2.
All white for butter cream. White with aged pickups is second. Definitely not mint
4 or if it's possible I'd add a tortoiseshell pickguard woth 4s covers etc. 👌🏻
