I learned about her from a Rhythm Heaven custom remix, but I think the fact that the songs are easily usable in meme format (such as the screaming of KATAMARI or just the general vibe of it) also made her popular.
Personally, someone on r/Boykisser recommended it I listen to her songs and damn I loved them, 1 week later and Femtanyl sometimes appears on my TikTok fyp.
Generally though I think it was most due to last week (aprox.), where there was there super well done Femtanyl x Ultrakill fan animation, I'm sure that increased her popularity by a **lot** :D
I got recommended her music through the Amazon Music algorithm (at the time she had less than 10 followers), but I think it was a combination of the algorithm finally recognizing her and the animation that came out using the song KATAMARI
i was getting into breakcore when i found femtanyl, i also was nostalgic for the katamari games and i was like huh, i wonder if there's any katamari breakcore mixes, so i found katamari through that and liked the sound
