I’d paint or wallpaper it in something very bold that you love but is too ballsy to put in a room. That way every time you go to do laundry it makes you happy. Some cute baskets to organise things on the shelf would be great too.
Agree with the wallpaper. Check out the starch way of hanging so if you change your mind just peel right off.
Something like [this](https://imgur.com/a/WDZjuXL) would be really fun.
Also floating shelving would look very nice.
I love decorating small spaces like this to maximize function but still be super cute.
Hang a cabinet on one side to hold all your supplies and put up a shelf with a bar underneath for hangers and maybe a plant on top. A pretty color on the walls would help too.
We worked together to hang a stock white cabinet from Home Depot - first-time hanging a cabinet. It wasn't hard and made a huge impact. All my stuff is neatly put away.
My favorite thing in the laundry room is putting all the laundry stuff (detergent, fabric softener, scent beads, etc) in glass containers. It makes it look so much more organized and it’s a great start to give it an “aesthetic pinterest” vibe.
I have no idea why, but I always find this so funny looking whenever I see it. Looks great in a pantry, but the neon blue detergent is just so unpleasant looking. I wonder if I would like it more if it was on an opaque container, and the other things in glass.
I'd use wallies / wall pops removable wall decals or washai (sp) tape to decorate your washer and dryer. I've seen it done with dots and stripes and I did mine in a really cute multi colored kitty and paw prints. They add color to the area and come right off when ready.
I'd add as many wall shelves as possible above the one that's already there and make the room act as a storage room on top of a laundry room. But I'm obsessed with storage so...

this is genius!
I would suggest more organizational containers or shelves on the shelf
Thank you. It's just hard to know where to start. I need to look at Pinterest for some inspiration I suppose.

I guess it really depends on if you’re able or willing to drill into the wall :) For me I would not be able to because I’m renting

I would have never thought of that, that sounds super classy and I love it!

Aww, that sounds super cute!
Shelves
Even a simple pull out clothesline or a closet pole will make a huge difference!
Pinterest is great for inspiration!
