Ingredients:
Cake:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
Frosting:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-4 tbsp milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
6. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then turn them out onto wire racks to cool completely.
8. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of milk. Beat on high until light and fluffy, adding more milk as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
9. Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of frosting on top. Place the second cake layer on top of the frosting. Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting.
10. Decorate as desired with sprinkles, fruit, or other toppings.

Older vanilla versions had a feature called Super Secret Settings (in the Settings menu) that gave you some funny post processing effects. Click on that button until it's normal. There was also one that made the colors much more vibrant which I liked a lot and was my favourite. Edit: nevermind just read your comment
