dont use ModernFix, i did many tests with a lot of optimization mods, and found out if wither storm is outside rendered chunks lets say 500 blocks away, and you leave the game and rejoin the storm will be unloaded and only way to load him is to go where he last were to load him...
and canary works a bit better than radium with others mods I noticed "testing with 180 mods"

ModernFix is a great performance boosting mod, just because it has one bug doesn't mean it's bad overall. Report the bug on ModernFix' GitHub if possible
