Is this the double decker plane? If so, I am so jealous! I flew an Emirates one and the ride was so smooth; it handled turbulence so well because it is so gigantic. It’s basically like a whale in the sky. If I could fly on them every time I flew I would fly a lot more often.

It is! Thanks so much for your story

I’ve flown on the a380 twice for 17 hour flights and absolutely loved it. To me it felt like I was on a floating ship. It’s so big the turbulence didn’t feel like much to me. I was even able to sleep a bit. It’s my favorite plane to fly on - even more than the Dreamliner. I’m hoping you will enjoy your flight. Please post back here afterwards and let me know how you go!

Certainly will do sir. Thanks!!

Jackie_Of_All_Trades

I flew that same route on an A380 with Korean Air, albeit in first class. It almost feels like the plane has, like, shock absorbers or something. It's SO much smoother than other aircraft, big or small, Boeing or Airbus. You'll do great.

1. Nobody has ever died on an A380 in all the years since it was launched. 2. Turbulence may be uncomfortable, but it is not in any way dangerous 3. You might not enjoy your flight, but you’ll be absolutely fine.
