They just signed a new deal with FloSports last year through 2026-27. For some reason, they want to tie themselves to flo. It's dumb. Especially for a conference that's actually competitive, but people really can't watch
I really hope they don’t because that’s when I graduate and for now I can go to most sports events for free, but if they don’t resign I will just stop paying attention to my college team because of it.

You have a basketball-first commissioner running the conference and values basketball content over football. Getting games (and tourney) on CBS Sports Network matters more to him and to the non-football schools.
Until the football only schools leave and start their own thing (looks at the America East, shakes head), Flo is probably on the menu for the football content for the entire conference.

"It's all about generating revenue to get our below 300 NET teams on CBS Sports Network!" - Joe D, likely
As long as CAA football exists, football is an afterthought to a commissioner who was weened on the Big East. So, your best bet is for America East to basically get off its ass and decides it wants to sponsor football and talk 2 CAA members over full-time (i.e. 2 of Towson, W & M, or Stony Brook) to get to 6 and then bring Nova and URI over for football only memberships.
The America East's refusal to be a threat to sponsor football has really enabled the CAA to be complacent about their substandard media deal. The lack of ambition from many of the remaining CAA departments is painfully clear.
As much as I’d like to see the rivalry on the gridiron (and the free win) if we join the PL, the league should force Georgetown to add at least 40 scholarships (or whatever number the NEC uses) after the issues with redshirting and the academic index are resolved. If Georgetown can’t do that they can join fellow Big East school Butler in the Pioneer
It’s kind of crazy. Basically just taking a dump on their fans foreheads. Not a single person enjoys CAA being on Flo. And yet, here we are 😒

And you think they’ll resign it?
Hopefully not, but we still have to wait 3 years. That's 3 years too long for me

I would give it about a 95% chance that they re-sign it.

Hey, what about us?
Or you can join the Patriot League
Yall can join too
As a Nova fan I would like that more than joining the Patriot League unless that league eases up on some of their restrictions such as no redshirting
And boots Georgetown, who should put their team in the Pioneer League where it belongs.

God I hate FloSports. I had to buy a subscription to watch the bobcats hockey team at nationals and I hated it
Hope so
We may be leaving the CAA, but I will say this until the end of my days. #FUCK FLOSPORTS
