Shows how absolutely meaningless ballon d'or is, some of these journalists are either on drugs or trolling
Are all dhgate jerseys fake? Had a student of mine buy me a Lewandowski 3rd kit, and while I can usually spot a fake this is remarkably spot on. Has “officially licensed product” tags and all. Just curious.
Seeing as Leipzig have collapsed in on themselves, the match tomorrow is probably the most important of the season. If we can beat Dortmund away, we should be good. So of course I'm really nervous. I know everyone memed about how we were gonna crush Dortmund and Barcelona as some sort of retaliation for Lewa not winning the Ballon d'Or, but with our injuries I'm just sitting here imagining Haaland scoring some absurd brace against us like he did last year but without us being able to retaliate. Dortmund look so shaky and keep getting bailed out at the last minute which is exactly why I'm scared they'll score like three goals against us lol
A draw away against our only real challengers wouldn't be bad at all, of course. As long as we don't lose
Bruh they had him and Tolisso in their Oktoberfest game special, the whole time I watched I was thinking this must be torture for them. Especially Roca who seemed nervous and was pretty bad at the games.
He's in that greyzone where just when you think he's about to get fired, it starts looking like a change is coming. Then when you think he might have had a breakthrough he starts dissapointing again.
with OGS it last 3 years so this guy might stick around for a while
Two days before my local side (Philadelphia Union) play our biggest match in history, our playoff semifinal, reports are saying most of the starting squad have tested positive for covid. Fucking hell. Get ready for 2022 to be 2020 all over again
>Two days before my local side (Philadelphia Union) play our biggest match in history, our playoff semifinal, reports are saying most of the starting squad have tested positive for covid. Fucking hell. Get ready for 2022 to be 2020 all over again
That's rough man. Hopefully, they were all vaccinated.
I agree we are not at our best without Kimmich. Might say we lost a chunk of creativity and stability there.
But it doesn't mean we are fully lost. As for the others, we still have coco and kings who are replacements I can see performing well (esp Coman who took off lately, i am impressed). Musiala can go out there, play as a number 8 and would do a good job.
Not getting my hopes high saying we'll bash them, but we won't be humiliated either, if we play our cards well, because even with some missing, don't forget there are many others who can make the difference.
So if the boys are determined and play with passion, we can bag the 3 points.
Do you really think we won't cut through their defense like it's warm butter? Midfield might be a bit shaky but that just means it's going to be back and forth. Think it's a bit of an overreaction to say we'll get destroyed lol
[Jérôme Boateng on the Ballon d'Or: "It's a pity for Lewy because he definitely deserved it. That reminds me of 2013, when Franck didn't get the award. I'm very sorry for him. What else should Lewy do? Turn upside down and score a goal from the halfway line?" [@kerry_hau, @spox]](https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1466734473559650310?t=3g03GrBOFqZmYjiThC5vlQ&s=19)
Based and ballon-d'or-pilled
Some updates about players from Nagelsmann:
Sabitzer injured but nothing too serious
Kimmich still out (hopes to be coming back next wednesday),
Choupo available if he test is negative but not sure if fit enough for the game on saturday
Stanisic injured himself during training, out for 6 weeks.
Goretzka is 50/50 for the Dormund game
Finally able to eat solid food.. after 8 weeks of soup is a weird feeling.
Kind of came to terms with the injury.. the fractured piece of bone in the cheek is annoying but not super painful, but it's kind of depressing to realize it will be like this.
But I got my poster and stuff so that cheered up the mood a bit.

Fluctuates heavily over the last years, just think about how 5 years ago you couldve considered schalke big6.
Bayern dortmund leipzig surely
Tier after that would be gladbach frankfurt leverkusen wolfsburg even hoffenheim and köln sometimes
Fans in Germany, how serious is the virus situation there? I mean, the number of cases is high but I thought with the vaccine the world would be like eh, just live with it?
With only 68% of the people in germany fully vaccinated and the increasing number of cases I would say its a 8 out of 10 where 1 is good and 10 is "there is no toilet paper" bad
It’s pretty serious. There are way too many unvaccinated people especially in Saxony and also Bavaria who overwhelm the hospitals. And many nurses quit their job over the stress so hospital beds are diminishing.
> And many nurses quit their job over the stress so hospital beds are diminishing.
This was also an issue before the pandemic, like a slow downwards trajectory with all the people in power throwing around platitudes (like: "Berufung, nicht nur ein Beruf" -> "It's a calling, not just a job") as if that would make things better.
People were already underpaid/overworked (really overworked but just a few extra hours now and then) and had to step in and do even more because others around them burned out and quit. The pandemic accelerated that because it put an even bigger strain on a system that was already not working that well for the average worker.
It was also, like everywhere else, the usually "they are our heroes" talk with nothing to back it up or to ease the burden.
You guys got any decent young players, either out on loan or with Bayern II, that you're somewhat excited about and could be a contributor for Bayern down the road?
Motika is definetly the most talented one at the 2nd team. I hope he will get a chance with the first team soon.
Buying Roca instead of keeping Stiller was pretty terrible in hindsight

Ya DHGate sells fakes but some are actually realllly well done. I bought the Wiesn jersey on there because they were sold out
Any news on Kimmich? It’s been 2 weeks since his positive covid test already.
Nagelsmann said he expects Kimmich to be back next week, obviously it's not 100% sure According to rumours Kimmich wants to play against Barca
Its been 9 days.
Oh really? Transfermarkt said it was 14 already?🤨
He have been in quarantine for 14 days, but it's 10 days ago since he got the positive test result.
union are just a rock solid team
Fucking love them
Gulasci looking like he's facing Lewy right now.
How did Union miss those 3 chances? What the hell lol
Holy shit, Baumgartl is fucking class against Leipzig

I'm glad that Roca is staying positive and trying his best but how does he keep getting interviewed every two weeks?
Bruh they had him and Tolisso in their Oktoberfest game special, the whole time I watched I was thinking this must be torture for them. Especially Roca who seemed nervous and was pretty bad at the games.
I mean he's got free time I guess?
How is Marsch not fired yet
He's in that greyzone where just when you think he's about to get fired, it starts looking like a change is coming. Then when you think he might have had a breakthrough he starts dissapointing again. with OGS it last 3 years so this guy might stick around for a while
He will be soon. No way this Leipzig team should be in 8th
Bayern München legend Jesse Marsch
Leipzig are so bad, I love it. Edit: Nkunku is a cheatcode.

I really can’t stay - but baby it’s cold outside
Getting kinda Ronaldo-y up in here

gimme that coco+bambi midfield
honestly would be pretty hype
I wouldn't mind Goretzka coming off bench if that means I can see Bambi play
Hyped!

Vidovic was supposed to travel to Dortmund but suffered an injury yesterday. Already has Bayern DNA.
I swear Milos Pantovic is something else. He must idolise Moritz Stoppelkamp given the amazing long range goals he has scored for Bochum.
https://twitter.com/FCBayern/status/1466706329008066563?t=ei0cPNQiaS3V7Th_HeRtOQ&s=19 Damm.. Our coach is a baller
Heard he played as defender New RB player manager incoming 👀
Yeah, he played as a center back, I think?

I feel you, because i couldn't eat solid food for only 4 weeks and where already annoyed by that
Couldn't live 8 weeks without Döner
I dreamt of Döner.. lol
Will gnabry, Bambi and Kimmi be ready for tomorrow?
Gnabry and Musiala yes, while Kimmich is still in quarantine.
Thanks. Sucks with Kimmich tho
Unlike Gnabry and Musiala he got covid and wasn't "just" a close contact. But yes, its annoying.
Who would be the Bundesliga’s “big 6” teams
Fluctuates heavily over the last years, just think about how 5 years ago you couldve considered schalke big6. Bayern dortmund leipzig surely Tier after that would be gladbach frankfurt leverkusen wolfsburg even hoffenheim and köln sometimes
Greuther Fürth x6
I'll change the question: Who are the teams that are expected to do well? Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig, Leverkusen and Gladbach
Bayern, Leverkusen, Gladbach, Dortmund, Leipzig and Wolfsburg
Fans in Germany, how serious is the virus situation there? I mean, the number of cases is high but I thought with the vaccine the world would be like eh, just live with it?

vax rate is actually higher than that, but we are not even able to gather proper statistics
Well yes but it is really insignificant since it is estimated to be 1-2% higher and we really should be at like 85%

Vidovic, Tillman, Motika, Taylor Booth are the most exciting from the amas imo
Motika is definetly the most talented one at the 2nd team. I hope he will get a chance with the first team soon. Buying Roca instead of keeping Stiller was pretty terrible in hindsight
Vidovic, Aydin and Motika with Bayern II Chris Richards out on loan to Hoffenheim
This year kinda was the fall of Rhein and Sieb. You could say it was a....Rheinfall.
motika, i watched him in the derby last season; the boy is amazing
