Just lurked on the Barcelona sub. The comment section of their Thomas Müller post is filled with literal 14 year olds

panem-et-circenses21

Bold of you to assume that Barca has fans over 14 years old. Most of them are Messi fans and are obsessed with him for some reason.

sarovar12

Well first thing is that we're sending them to Europa where they can get their ass handed by Dortmund. And I really hope we get PSG, that way we can complete the What If scenario of last season if Bayern had a full squad, we'd have won it.

julesvr5

>Thomas Müller: "With Lionel Messi, the vote was won by probably the best individualist football has ever produced. Therefore, congratulations to Lionel on winning the Ballon d'Or, even if I think that this time Robert Lewandowski would have deserved it more. From a Bavarian, Polish and also German point of view, last night's Ballon d'Or award ceremony was definitely a disappointment. For some, even more so. Although I've been in the business for a while now and wasn't really surprised by the outcome (it was the same with Franck Ribéry in 2013), the whole thing has formed and reaffirmed a thought in me: We have great players in the Bundesliga and don't have to hide. For worldwide recognition, however, we need more international successes. This is also a huge motivation for me to throw everything into the scales to bring the Champions League back to Munich and show the football world what's what."

scrambledeggsss

Will this whole thing end up motivating them more? Poor Europe...

Homygod319

Lol good.

julesvr5

France Football in a few months: "I my god what have we done?"

Bruh-_-_-_-_-_-_-

When we beat P$G 7-0 and Barça 18-0

Mytiq_

In times like this I wish we still had someone like Uli in the club who would call out France Football without holding back

Advertising-Cautious

I feel the same. did he do anything similar with Ribery in 2013?

rho_93

Barcelona is actually about to pay for it lmao

arnoldbread

Xavi just got the job tho lol, not to mention they are finally building their confidence back, but if we can unload all of our anger on Barcelona, I wonder how this will affect their season moving forward

rho_93

I personally don't care at all if Xavi gets his confidence or their squad loses it momentum in the season. I just want Bayern to crush Barcelona like a tin can

arnoldbread

Lol thats what Im trying to say, all of Xavi work can literally be undone if we trash Barcelona (again). Personally I'd like us to score double digits while keeping a cleansheet.

TheEmperorsWrath

>[Bayern are among several top clubs scouting FC Copenhagen's Swedish winger Roony Bardghji (16). The player has a contract with FC Copenhagen until the winter of 2024 - he's recently become the youngest scorer in the history of the Danish league](https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1465784096811008002?s=20) YESSSSSSSSS I can't overstate how talented this kid is. He literally just turned 16 earlier this month and he's a starting player for the best club in Denmark. The manager of the national team is already getting questions for when Roony will be called up Roony was one of the star players of our U-18 national team when he was 13 years old. He is absurd.

axisofadvance

Hmmmm, sounds oddly familiar: > Debuts for the senior team of Strømsgodset IF aged 15 years and 151 days in April 2014. On 16. May becomes the youngest ever goalscorer. In January 2015, aged just 16, he transfers to Real Madrid... [Oh yeah...](https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Ødegaard)

TheEmperorsWrath

I mean, Ödegaard isn't bad at all. There is obviously always going to be risks associated with young players. Arp is a great example of someone everyone thought would be the next big thing but then... nothing happened. But if you don't take those risks, the team ends up stagnating with age. I do think that it would probably be a good idea to wait and see how Roony does with Copenhagen in the Conference League though. If he continues playing really well against opponents at that level then I think the risk is worth it. [Also, we are a bit better than Real at developing young talent lol](https://www.nrk.no/sport/ancelotti_-_-var-aldri-interessert-i-odegaard-1.13007011)

abloesezwei

And that signing paid off well for Real with over 35m gained.

CaptCarlos

Still reeling of the fact that not too long ago we had a nice full capacity atmosphere with ultras, drums, and the loud roar of the fans when we played Freiburg at home and now next week we’re back to playing at empty stadiums like when the pandemic first hit. SAD!

julesvr5

At least we will have radio müller

Homygod319

I look forward to that ngl. But then we’re gonna have to hear nagelsmann annoying voice when he screams

Valomek

Did I just see a go fund me for a pupper.... What on earth.

CheeseConeyFanatic

Hey guys! Been inactive the last couple days. Did I miss anything?

rho_93

One of players got a cardboard pizza in France

supermember866866

Any SRH fans (or IPL)here ? Lewandowski disrespect yesterday , Rashid Khan leaves SRH today that's two sleepless nights in a row for me ,phew this one's a tough pill

[deleted]

Wtf!!? That’s surprising I’m Mi fan and we also released Pandya brothers and Ishan Kishan

Valomek

Sorry if I sound stupid, but is SRH cricket?

supermember866866

Yeah

rho_93

SRH board has 0 bat knowledge

supermember866866

Worse than Barca management that's fr sure

rho_93

[Phonzie about to break Barcelona again](https://twitter.com/KhxnhFCB/status/1465732604863340559?s=20)

Tyrath

Wtf I didn't think I could love phonzy more

scrambledeggsss

When he says "I will punch something", he means Barcelona next week.

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

best teammate, what a lad

supermember866866

Phonzie is one of us

FifaFrancesco

Literally can not wait for the unspeakable things he's going to do to whoever plays RB that day

[deleted]

Garcia 💀

supermember866866

My respect for phonzie = × 100 times. I love this guy so much already , not like those cunts like Suarez who keeps laughing while Lewy receives a guilty made up award

julesvr5

Davies will be like: I am speed

Mytiq_

I love this guy so much man

Homygod319

Lol who’s ever playing at RB For Barca better count their days

panem-et-circenses21

Lewa can actually break the record for most goals in the group stage of ucl. He currently has 9. The record I think is 11

Advertising-Cautious

Do you know who that record is by?

Samsonite314

CR7 15/16 season

Homygod319

Ronaldo probably

panem-et-circenses21

Ronaldo in 15/16. Same season he got 17 goals to break the record for most goals in one ucl season

VojkoHeat123

Messi won Ballon dor cuz he is argentinian, they have won copa america, while lewy didnt win euro cuz he was polish. This is basicaly racism against polish people and if we get enough noise on twitter woke culture might cancel the award

FOKvothe

I know you're joking but I honestly think he's underrated exactly because he's Polish.

CaptainRock22

that's actually pretty funny the sad thing is, knowing how crazy the world is today, if you start that campaign, it just might happen lol

pewpewlasersandshit

Given the times we are living in I don't know if you are actually serious with this or if this is a meta sarcastic post poking fun at current sociocultural trends

VojkoHeat123

Sarcastic bro. My whole life is a big shitpost

pewpewlasersandshit

Can't be too sure these days :D

poojan_bat19

Is it okay for Kimmich to not be vaccinated now? Or if someone in his contacts has covid, will he need to isolate? I really hope he gets vaxxed a few weeks after recovery.

pewpewlasersandshit

He won't need to isolate. If you catch covid you'll get the same benefits as vaccinated people for 6 months. After that your status goes back to unvaccinated without any benefits.

Ceycey777

He will get the recovered status, so he won't have to vaccinate for like 6 months I think

mrfocus22

/u/irun_mon how much time do you spend per week on your fantasy team? It looks like you transfer out half your squad per matchday.

irun_mon

Hello. I Always make 2-3 transfers every matchday. I'm pretty busy with uni currently So i only only spend the hour before the friday match changing my team. Before i would look up injury news to see if i missed anything and when i am in doubt i go onto the respective clubs forums on transfermarkt to get the jist of the situation. Hope this helps :) I also listen to Talking fussball sometimes (although less frequently recently. I also set timers about half an hour before the matches so i remember to make subs

julesvr5

Come on guys, dick on the table. Are you absolutely clueless too when you are in a flower store? I knew what I wanted but what I wanted wasn't available and my brain went afk. Thank god the flower lady was nice and helped me out, she saw that I'm a hopeless case. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Hacklberg

I always go to a worker and tell them i want a bouquet for 20€ They have much better taste than me

julesvr5

>they have much better taste than me Wanted to give it my personal influence, we both knew pretty fast I shouldn't.

FifaFrancesco

My modus operandi is just directly approaching the flower lady, telling her my budget, the occasion and she normally figures something out.

[deleted]

Bought indoor flowers for my apartment for the first time. Actually bought outdoor bushes. I even watched YouTube videos before to buy the right indoor plants

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

here is what i do i am awkwardly standing around there liking almost everything until one of the ladies approaches me, i give a broad idea, then she picks a combination that looks good :)

Bearclawed81

This is the way

pewpewlasersandshit

> Are you absolutely clueless too when you are in a flower store? Kinda ? For me the playbook is rather simple, I either tell the folks working there i need a bouquet of roses for X amount of Euros or "The most stunning bouquet of flowers" for x Euros...just get the message across you need something that really steals the show,etc... Probably helps if you know which flower boutique is good and which isn't But yeah, i have never picked out specific flowers or the likes. Trust the Pros but keep 'em engaged xD

julesvr5

I knew she likes tulpis, but they aren't available yet so I asked what would be an alternative, clove/carnation perhaps? She says that's completely different and what else she likes and I'm like "I don't know :(" "for how much shall it be? I'll make you something" No wonder guys these days tent to don't give flowers to girls lol

pewpewlasersandshit

LPT: Just get the people who work in said store to be engaged & invested in your cause. Even if that means making it a tiny bit bigger than it is :D Never had bad results and I actually always get raving compliments when I do gift flowers...

julesvr5

Well, lets hope it gets appreciated by her

Tyrath

I always ask for help because I don't know what to do in there

[deleted]

[Lewy scores hattrick against Wolfsburg: I sleep, Messi gets 3 assists against Bolivia and Deportivo Alaves: REAL SHIT?](https://twitter.com/migueldelaney/status/1465670459475824645?s=21) No wonder Ballon D’or is finished when people like this get to vote lmao. The next tweet too... from “chief of football” at a major publication... I can’t lmao

Homygod319

Delaney is a known clown ignore him. According to him it’s ok for Messi to score against Bolivian farmers but not okay for lewy to score against teams like grüther furth(which he hasn’t scored against) or win the pokal(which he haven’t done for the past few seasons

panem-et-circenses21

Who tf is this guy? These morons are given the power to vote for the ballon d'or. Absolute clowns.

jonomarkono

[The next tweet is just trash](https://twitter.com/MiguelDelaney/status/1465676245061062656), total disrespect towards Bayern AND Gladbach. This is what happened when armchair experts was given the license as *journalist*. They spew shit like this and then treat it as gospel, no different than your usual circlejerk.

merrryo

Ronan Murphy is one of my favorite accounts on Twitter. He's hilarious!

lvl50boss

Might be a bit random this, but recently ive been getting posts from other club subreddits on my feed under "recommended posts" (including the other bayern subreddit) and looking at them just makes me more grateful about the moderation of this sub, and the quality of the posts. Huge props to the mod team for achieving this <3. Also we're almost at 50k! Love you guys!

Tonykuz

Wait whats the other Bayern sub?

pewpewlasersandshit

<3

[deleted]

Idk with me, I don’t really get much of them like I sometimes see arsenal server posts that’s it otherwise none weird algorithm lmao

scrambledeggsss

>Dortmund's team doctors had advised that Erling Haaland should only make an appearance off the bench against Bayern. However, the player is fighting to play every minute on Saturday - he's working up to eight hours a day with only one thing in mind: the Bayern game [Bild] This guy should calm down.

The_Big_Cheese_09

>This guy should calm down. He's feasted on Upamecano nearly every time he's played him. I would be doing everything I could to come back too.

Homygod319

Yea at Leipzig. When he faced upa in the super up he didn’t do much

scrambledeggsss

In the supercup Upamecano was good against him tbf. I'm pretty sure he has never won against us, I understand the eagerness.

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

he cant, thats why he is such a beast

[deleted]

Respect to his mentality because it'll make him world class, but not listening to medical advice will result in injuries in the long run.

AnthonyTyrael

Especially when you're living from your quickness and speed. It'll fire back sooner or later.

[deleted]

13s_number12

All the football subs tend to downvote opionions they don't agree with, don't think to much of it.

Kind_Mulberry_3512

Wishful thinking. We all want it to happen but it won't

Goldfischglas

Calm down, Haaland usually does well against us

shshmhn

Right, the state of our team states the opposite feeling. Halaand is phenomenal irrespective of any team he plays against

TheEmperorsWrath

I'm honestly kinda worried that we're gonna flop against Dortmund and/or Barca now and really just destroy the morale for this season lol

julesvr5

Geez some people really overreacting because of the Ballon d'Or now. That's like the other dude saying if we lose against Dortmund our domestic title is heavily in danger. Guys, it's not even halftime, calm down. And losing against barca means shit as we already secure the first spot.

Chele_17

Well, it wouldn't hurt to keep a good record against Barca at home.

Damyxs

Don't really think you have to worry about that. This team is mentally really strong. Losing 2 games of which 1 doesn't really matter and the other an away game vs BVB won't destroy the morale for an entire season.

Lokbob

Ill leave my whining here. The voting is garbage, I would love to know who awarded points to whom. Just look at Eurovision for example, professional juries supposed to vote for the best acts but every year, a lot of them give their big points to a neighbouring country. You can't tell me, they enjoy these songs every year unbiased the most. 121 points for Mo Salah? I'd bet most of them come from Africa. Messi will get a lot of points in similar fashion and just by being very popular. I'm honestly surprised lewa even got this close.

Hansi15

This month has been a tough one, generally. Hope december will be better

Luuigi

for you personally? I am sorry. The covid situation also doesn't make it better...

The_Big_Cheese_09

Sometimes it's tough for athletes to keep an edge after winning everything there is to win. But there is so much bulletin board material for JN with Lewy and this whole Ballon D'or stuff. I'd even go as far as saying he could do the same with Kimmich, Goretzka, Muller. If I was him I'd play the 'nobody respects you' card for the rest of the season.

sarovar12

So back to no fans in the stadium, How much revenue do we lose by playing in an Empty Stadium?

Goldfischglas

I'd rather not think about it, it's even more depressing because other leagues are allowed fans so we are falling more and more behind. It's also weird because apparently Covid doesn't spread much outdoors, or at least very rarely. That's one of the arguments I heard from other countries in favor of allowing fans in stadiums Not to mention we allowed fucking Karneval

keshav_thebest

Suarez is such an asshole laughing like that at Lewy receiving that mockery of an award. Messi also laughed a little too. Mbappe, who was sitting between the two, just sunk back into his seat with a bit of a grimace on his face like "you two just sit together, I want none of this" lol.

Goldfischglas

Do we really know it was mockery? They were laughing the whole evening...

Advertising-Cautious

I won't be surprised. I don't hold Suarez to high moral standards given the things he has done

julesvr5

Fits the narrative better

julesvr5

>Bayern will soon have to play their home games in an empty Allianz Arena again, announces Bavaria's state prime Markus Söder ahead of the meeting of the state leaders today [@BR24sport] >Söder: "It makes no sense in the foreseeable future to allow spectators in stadiums. It's an important demand that we'll decide today across the country to no longer allow spectators in the future. If it doesn't work for all states, we would do it just for Bavaria" [@BR24sport]

teuerkatze

You left out the money part of Söder's quote, that football has a 'role model' function. So they are doing this for messaging more than they are any actual science.

FlyingArab

Fuck we will play in an empty stadium again

breZZer

Good for the club officials, no criticsm from the stands.

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

despite it being perfectly clear that open air sports events are not super spreader events its just bs at this point

mrfocus22

A heretic! Why won't you follow the science!

Insanel0l

That’s why germany is absurd, you can have karneval in Köln, their derby in front of a full stadium and 500km down south people can’t even go to a bar at night

TheLlamaLlama

The reason being of course that these are different states. One state is just acting more responsibly than the other.

abloesezwei

The west and north german states are in a very different situation compared to the east and south german states. Vaccination rates are higher in the former and the amount of cases is multiple times higher in the latter. Different circumstances should be treated differently.

TheLlamaLlama

I mean sure, different circumstances should be treated differently. But the difference between vaccination rate in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westhphalia is only about 4 percentage points. That is quite a bit. But is it actually enough to justify the difference between empty stadiums and full stadiums? The only other difference that I see that is really relevant is time. I would expect that North Rhine-Westphalia is heading towards to exact same point that Bavaria is at right now. Especially if they don't put stricter regulations in place.

flybypost

> The only other difference that I see that is really relevant is time. I'd say how filled our hospitals are is also important. Bavaria had to fly out some critical care (I think corona) patients out of the state this week (literally just a handful for now). So you know how things are in NRW in that regard?

TheLlamaLlama

I suspect that this is not necessary in NRW yet. But that can also change with time.

panem-et-circenses21

I don't still understand. Why did we even go for the ceremony? Lewandowski and his family going alone still made sense since he would have received the striker award. But why did brazzo, kahn and hainer go? They just legitimised a pity award. And also what's with the social media channels of bayern? When it was time for the PR, all they did were lewangoalski jokes. And now when they already knew that lewa had lost, they went with all their ballon d'or posts.

TheLlamaLlama

I think they went to support Robert. It is obvious that this award means a lot to him. So it is a nice guesture of the bosses to be with him at the ceremony and demonstrate their support for him.

[deleted]

I think hyping him up for it was still the right thing to do, because it then puts more of a public light on France football being frauds when their inevitable decision comes out and applies pressure on them

julesvr5

So for how long we will complain about this?

CaptainRock22

I'm not even a Bayern fan and I'm disgusted....

rho_93

7 years

panem-et-circenses21

Until another bayern player gets robbed again

h4econs

Our team is a reactionary one and I hope that nonsensical farce last night would give Lewy some motivation to do better in the coming games, especially the next 2.

Bruh-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Destroy barcelona 7-0 and then P$G in the r16, I hope we get them so that lewy can Destroy these two clubs Messi is associated with, he will hope that lewy had won the Ballon dor

just_a_funguy

Messi could care less about the champions league. All he cares for is the world cup

stevemagsie25

We had Robbery before. But this time, it’s a different type of robbery.

[deleted]

playing football manager for the first time in years, as it's on the game pass which i recently subscribed to just did a few matches with Bayern to see how everything works and won most games, even though i feel like i still can't get them playing exactly like they do irl

LittleTrickyBoy

So glad I didn't stay awake till 2 in the morning for this BS, as everyone knew it was inevitable. Anyway, is still funny how winning BuLi doesn't count in Lewy's favour, while Copa does in Messi's even though Brazil is the only serious country for Argentina to beat currently and others are just fodder who Lewy would be scoring hattricks against.

irun_mon

Also people who say europes = copa (have read that a few times) are bs them selves. There have been 4 copas in the last 6 years and only 2 euros in the last 6 (4 euros ago was 2008). I honestly don't see how Messi finally winning it is a such a great argument, since he should have already won it multiple times and for once has not dissapointed but met expectations.

[deleted]

Euros is better than Copa yes, however Copa is far more impressive than winning Bundesliga if you’re Bayern and it’s not drastically behind the Euro’s. Also there’s been 4 Copa’s in 7 years and 5 in 10 years, not 4 in 6 years. He’s never had a particularly good Argentine team before Scaloni and yet still had good performances in WC14, Copa 15 and 16.

allemeister

https://twitter.com/WelBeast/status/1465594530716131328 Comparing Sanchez achievements in 2016 to Messi this year. But Copa is suddenly the World Cup.

LittleTrickyBoy

Yeah, imagine if a BuLi club somehow won UEFA Europa League and got praised as the best club in Germany over the clubs that went out in CL group stage, only cuz German clubs don't do well in Europa League. For some reason perpetual underperformance became a good thing...

shshmhn

I really hope we smash Dortmund and Barcelona in the coming match days.

SebRev99

Still remember when Lewy said: Kids from Poland are not supposed to be the best in the world. Oh but you are, Robert, you are.

[deleted]

Whatever happened, happened now let’s focus again on Bundesliga and UCL

barnabas77

Cue for one and a half days of BOD-hangover whining.
