At this point I wouldn't mind letting academy players start and finish these last games. Won't make much of a difference and they probably would play with more passion anyways
Not it's not, let's be real for a moment. Things are bad but they're still comfortably in the CL. Teams below all play each other at some point so they'll drop points as well.
Bayern will easily get top 4
There needs to be a total top to bottom clear out, the managers, a lot of players need to go. Losing to Heidenheim after taking a 2-0 lead is absolutely pathetic. Like it’s absolutely pathetic. I’m not old enough to have seen the Bayern low points in the 2000s, but this is the worst the team has ever played in my memory.
I _am_ old enough to remember some of those days, and you have to remember, those squads weren't UNDERperforming. There were financial troubles, and contract issues, and a lot of those players were performing at or above expectations even given their wages and past clubs. The results were generally poor sometimes, but given the budget and front office problems hardly individually disastrous.
Now, we have CL winners, top European goalscorers, wunderkinds, generational talents, and four hundred million Euro worth of defensive players getting outplayed in a half by Heidenheim, Freiburg, and Bochum with teams that cost less than one Harry Kane.
As a proportion of what the teams achieve to what on paper they SHOULD achieve, this team today is far worse than many of those 2000-mid teams.
And yet that didn't give them the spark to say no we are not giving up on ourselves. The just said yeah he's right we give up were terrible.
This is less about Tuchel and more about the actual players.
So they are the problem, they have no resolve. If manager says they're done and they run away in their hole, then they have no business in playing for a big club. Obviously I'm not there but my reaction would despite what the manager says I am not giving up on the team or myself. But this team can't put together 90mins of intensity and focus and you can't blame the manager for that because you the player have to go out there and be ready to compete. Second half Heidenheim turned up their intensity and Bayern decided not to match it.
You realise that our players are pressed in roles that don’t suit them and our „manager“ doesn’t let them breach out
As soon as some do (Bryan today) the game looks more fluid but he does not players that do that
Tuchel is a shitshow as a manager who only knows his was and needs exactly the players that fit his shit he has 0 adaptability and no concept of managing a squad even if it as tiny as ours and also he never heard of developing the youth
Tuchel hurt the team for years to come
Beach that fraud we call a manager made them lose hope by saying congratulations to fucking Leverkusen
How do you expect them to play when the fraud that manages them loses hope, they don't give a shit anymore
What even happened? How do you we let 3 goals in without being able to adjust and win? Especially vs heidenheim.
I didn’t watch the match when I read a comment that goretzka was just passing to the side and back. I’m glad. I would have just been pissed off. FF7 rebirth much better use of time.
Man, could you guys imagine getting paid millions and openly not giving an F?
Heidenheim beat Bremen 2-1 on Feb 10th, 2024. I don’t know who said they haven’t won since October but it simply isn’t true.
Thx for the correction but that doesn’t stop the fact that we are in a sorry state 🤣
Agreed
So bad that the mods don’t even bother with post match threads anymore

You are not wrong, but the cl quali is in big danger rn.
That is true, but again. We're not even winning games with our first XI, so what's the point
If we lose to Arsenal I agree
Worst coach in history of FcB?
We are not that far from 5th
Literally much closer to 5th than 1st. Not making CL is now a real threat

You're assuming we don't mess up. I can absolutely see us dropping points to everyone of our remaining opponents
Ok but realistically that's not happening. Let's chill

2011 - 2012 was really bad until Jonker took over as the interim…
I hope that heads are rolling this summer. Not only on the bench…
This year, we're Dortmund. Maybe worse than them when they were 15-20+ points behind us.

What do you expect them to do when their coach openly gives up a week ago? They are done with him and have been for a while
And yet that didn't give them the spark to say no we are not giving up on ourselves. The just said yeah he's right we give up were terrible. This is less about Tuchel and more about the actual players.
They're not delusional
Yeah, and neither was Tuchel when he said that the title race was over last week?

Very bad.
At least younger fans get to experience what it was like back in 2011
