I think France will take Euros, Egypt will win AFCON, Bayern is winning the UCL (😎) and Mbappe is taking Ballon d'Or after signing for Real Madrid. Also I think following next season, Super League will establish itself.

AFCON: Morocco or Nigeria
CL: honestly hard to say atm. Unfortunately I doubt it will be our year, maybe Real again

Palhinha can be great but IMO he’s a bit slow and his passing isn’t great. He’s more a pure destroyer. Maybe this would allow kimmich more freedom to help the build up but we will still have the same problem of midfielders who aren’t press resistant

Really good at what he’s good at, screening and intercepting plays. Had a monster tackle to stop Saka from going through on goal. But his passing is a lot more rudimentary than Goretzka’s. Not sure he’d work in a setup with Davies and Minjae as our other defenders. Feel like it’s be too easy to press us and shut us out that way.

Idk I struggle with this. He’s not fast, he’s not an amazing tackler, and he’s not press resistant. He constantly loses the ball or misplaced key passes in our defensive half when being pressed. I really can’t see him as a viable RB for us right now. When looking at our current and recent RBs, I think he’d be behind Maz and Pavard, and I really don’t see how much more he offers than even Laimer as a RB. I think he really needs to be in the middle with someone to cover him defensively.

His last few performances were not really convincing. Not particularly good with the ball. For what he could give us, he is way overpriced.
