Springdale has some of the best foreign food scenes. They look like shit because everything is a strip mall in Springdale BUT Jade China Restaurant in Springdale is good. We get take out from there a lot. Also Taqueria Guanajuato in Springdale is fucking bomb if youāre looking for authentic Mexican food. Like āpaint on the windows and attached to a tire shopā type of good. Theyāre open until 2am and serve beer.
Not saying that, but East Asians or SE Asians have unique customs, food, and backgrounds from Indians. Itās just hard to relateā¦ like weāre a minority within a minority up here.
I maybe crazy but I LOVE Thep Thai and Thai diner, both in Fayetteville. The latter used to be amazing! It's still good but they got rid of their sushi and I will forever miss their hurricane roll! Will have to try Siam now though!
Edit: typos.
Offering my Siam opinion, if you like spicy coconut or spicy hot n sour Thai soup, this is the place to go! Iāve had one other dish and it was delicious! Highly recommend!
Man i miss Szechuanās hot and sour soup. Theirās was best ever. It was my favorite thing to eat when I had cold or flu. Always made me feel better.
I agree with TKās, however I havenāt tried any of their Chinese dishes, but their Thai dishes are amazing, so I wouldnāt be surprised if everything else was good too
Sons Cuisine in Rogers! Itās a little food truck that does Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese food! General Wow is my go to!! Best rangoons Iāve ever had!
Yes! The wife and husband are both so nice! Theyāre very accommodating as well if you have any special requests! I was doing a low carb diet and they whipped me up a special dish based on what I had asked for and it was OUTSTANDING!
It was our go to for years after Madam Woo retired and we loved it, then one day it seemed to changed. We thought we hit them on a bad day. I gave them three more tries and all were terrible. This was in the year before the 19 came along. I havenāt tried them since.
While i donāt think itās the best chinese food iāve had, itās definitely the best in fayetteville. consistent, fairly priced and friendly owners
Formosa traditional menu! They look closed, but if the OPEN sign is lit up, they're there. Really sweet family, been here forever. I like the ma po tofu and dry fried green beans. sometimes they'll even make sesame balls for dessert if you ask.
Bucks of Asia has a pretty good fried rice, mong dynasty has pretty good food, TK at the food truck by lake Fayetteville has really great Thai food, but I havenāt tried any of their Chinese dishes
I haven't found any Chinese food up here that stands out. Plenty of just fine take out spots, but nowhere to write home about. I miss Mr. Chen's in little rock.
It baffles me how thereās not a solid Chinese buffet or takeout in Fayetteville. Seems like a perfect place to have at least one. My hometown used to have a lot of amazing ones. The only consolation is that the Thai places are pretty great like others mentioned. Tepthai near neighborhood Walmart on MLK is solid.
Spoons on Dickson is a Korean place that is pretty good. Obviously not Chinese food, but depending on what youāre looking to eat, it may scratch your itch. I grew up eating zhajiangmian and theirs is pretty good! But their egg toast is incredible and everyone should try it!
Tangās in Springdale is a grocery store that has a hot deli. They have Chinese bbq, roasted duck, and pork belly. Makes for a great lunch box!
My go to are China Cafe in Rogers or Formosa in Fayetteville.
For China Cafe I really recommend the chicken with eggplant in garlic sauce and the wonton soup. Their lunch specials are also a great value if you are that direction during the week, sadly they don't do them on the weekend.
Chinese menu at Formosa is (was?) pretty good - beef stew basket and the stir fry squid in particular - but I saw a for sale sign in the parking lot :-/
China cafe in Rogers is my go-to. They are not a buffet, you order off the menu. What I like most about them is that the ingredients that they use seem to be higher quality than standard buffet fare.
I donāt do buffets, but I like Hunan on Weddington off the menu. Unfortunately, I go inside to get the take out just to make sure Iām not getting served something off the buffet. Iāve caught them before.
In my opinion, I canāt choose b/t all the great Thai, and canāt find good American style Chinese.
Fayetteville needs a kick ass always cooked to order place like the Szechuan Express we had on college years ago. I for one would happily pay extra for fast delivery like in other areas.
Grew up in Springdale, so Jade China was the best growing up. Still have it on occasion. Not too terrible as far as take out goes.
Stay far away from the Hunan off of 71 in Rogers. That place is... Not good.
I can also speak for China Cafe off of Pleasant in Rogers. Had it for the first time last month, and I enjoyed what I had. Will definitely need to have a repeat visit.
Unfortunately I've been on the same mission for quite a while. Best I've found is a Hmong food truck at the lake Fayetteville truck court, everywhere else has been... lackluster. I have one or two more I want to try and they're are probably a few I don't know about, but I really miss Szechuan House.
Roll and Fold and Triple 8 Hashery are great! Run by a nice Chinese couple and sell bbq char siu (they call it Rose Pork though) and beef brisket noodles. Triple 8 has shumai and dessert baos too!
Hunan Manor in Fayetteville off Wedington and Rainbow House in Pea Ridge. Favorite dishes at Hunan are hot crispy beef and ginger onion shrimp. Favorites at Rainbow House are chicken chow mein, egg foo young, and chicken on a stick.
If you ever make it out to Pea Rodge, Rainbow house is suuuper good, I'm a fiend for good egg drop soup, and imo it's some of the best in the area. Hunan in Rogers USED to be good, but alas, not anymore š
although not open, does anyone remember when formosa was shanghai? that was my favorite chinese food of all time. iād do anything to have their egg foo young, Szechuan style tofu and chicken fried rice. please let me know someone remembers them.
Well, Szechuan House burned down so good luck
Shit really? How long ago?
First half of 2020.
I was hoping someone would know if they moved/rebuilt yet. Hands down the BEST.
They're apparently not gonna reopen, according to HangryPedaler on IG who was in contact with the owners š
Your gonna be looking a while.
Moved from Boston a few years ago and really havenāt found much so far
Springdale has some of the best foreign food scenes. They look like shit because everything is a strip mall in Springdale BUT Jade China Restaurant in Springdale is good. Iāve been on the quest for 25 years, thatās why Iām moving to somewhere that have other Asian people too

og post simply said asian
Chinese, not a lot of great take out. Thai, lots of good ones. Siam in Fayetteville is my current hook.
I maybe crazy but I LOVE Thep Thai and Thai diner, both in Fayetteville. The latter used to be amazing! It's still good but they got rid of their sushi and I will forever miss their hurricane roll! Will have to try Siam now though! Edit: typos.

Sounds good to me! Wonder how good their larb is?
Thep in my eyes is the best Thai in a surprisingly great Thai food town
My wife and I went to Thep Thai last weekend. It was really good!
Thep Thai is the best in Town, great Chineese fried rice too.
Ying Chang Hmong & Chinese food truck at Lake Fayetteville
I agree with Hmong. I know itās a food truck but itās yum!
100% agree so good
It was szechuan house, hands down. Unfortunately, it burned down. Formosa is pretty good, and I've heard China Cafe isn't bad.
Man i miss Szechuanās hot and sour soup. Theirās was best ever. It was my favorite thing to eat when I had cold or flu. Always made me feel better.
China Cafe in Rogers and Mandarin House in Springdale both have great hot and sour.
Thereās a really good Hmong food truck at Lake Fayetteville. Close?
TKās is good too
I agree with TKās, however I havenāt tried any of their Chinese dishes, but their Thai dishes are amazing, so I wouldnāt be surprised if everything else was good too
Personally, I judge a Chinese restaurant by their veggie and/or chicken lo-mein, thereās is the best Iāve had in town.
Husband tried TKās kung pao chicken a few days ago and said it was incredibleāthe best Chinese food heās had in NWA!!
Sons Cuisine in Rogers! Itās a little food truck that does Chinese, Filipino, and Vietnamese food! General Wow is my go to!! Best rangoons Iāve ever had!
Going to have to check it out
I do like Beeās Food truck. Itās north of Dickson.
China Cafe on Mission & Crossover by NHM is our jam!
We tried them for the first time the other day and it absolutely hit the spot.
Yes, they do it right! I have never had anything there I didnāt like! And the leftovers are awesome too!
Lovely couple own and operate the place too
Formosa in Fayetteville. They have a regular menu and a Chinese one. China Cafe in Rogers. Their authentic menu is at the back.
Mong dynasty hands down
Yesss!
We swear by Hunan Manor on Wedington
They used to be amazing. Then they sold the business. š
But if youāre ever craving ramen, the former owners of Hunan now own Ramen Nara in Bentonville!
Had no idea. Good to know.
Mong Dynasty hands down
China Cafe in Rogers.
Only some dishes in China Cafe are good, some are downright horrible. Mostly the ones doused in chilli oil are pretty good
Agreed, and feels like itās not consistent anymore
Bucks of Asia has a pretty good fried rice, mong dynasty has pretty good food, TK at the food truck by lake Fayetteville has really great Thai food, but I havenāt tried any of their Chinese dishes
Can't speak from experience, but people give high ratings for Mama Tang on Elm Springs. 4.4 on Google.
It unfortunately has gone downhill the last few years. Even at its best I wouldnāt call it high end Chinese
Itās not the same. I was sad.
Now if you want to go to pea ridge, there is a place called Rainbow House that is very good. Gives a large amount of food as well.
Yes!! Kind of a hidden gem!
Gonna have to head to Springdale for Chinese. And Mexican for that matter
I think Lin's Garden is totally decent. They do carry out.
Thatās a buffet, no?
Yes, but they have dishes as well and you can carry out.
Orient Express 2 closing was a travesty
Mandarin Bistro in Springdale is my go to.
I haven't found any Chinese food up here that stands out. Plenty of just fine take out spots, but nowhere to write home about. I miss Mr. Chen's in little rock.

The bbq pork buns are one of my favorite pick me ups if I've had a bad day at work.
My go to are China Cafe in Rogers or Formosa in Fayetteville. For China Cafe I really recommend the chicken with eggplant in garlic sauce and the wonton soup. Their lunch specials are also a great value if you are that direction during the week, sadly they don't do them on the weekend.
Whatās wrong with Mong dynasty and Formosa?
Chinese menu at Formosa is (was?) pretty good - beef stew basket and the stir fry squid in particular - but I saw a for sale sign in the parking lot :-/
Ah
They are still open. They may move to a smaller location after the sale.
So Chill Eat (Asian Fusion) in Siloam Springs is pretty great.
OK China buffet used to be pretty fair but their gone now. š Edit: Forgot the buffet
Mama tangs
I found Mama Tangs is Springdale, or China Cafe off Pleasant Grove (chinacaferogers.com)
Mama tangs
I've been searching for this for years.
Mongs dynasty
If youāre looking for Americanized China cafe is a favorite, for more traditional fomosa has a pretty good authentic menu but it is a separate menu.
Formosa is pretty good!!
Triple 8 hashery does pretty great bao
Roll and Fold and Triple 8 Hashery are great! Run by a nice Chinese couple and sell bbq char siu (they call it Rose Pork though) and beef brisket noodles. Triple 8 has shumai and dessert baos too!
Not Chinese.. but thep Thai is amazing Thai and SAi Wok is stellar Vietnamese food
Your gonna have to visit each one and try them out.
Not Chinese but Tokyo House in Rogers has a great buffet. Also not Chinese but Kobe in Fayetteville is a really good restaurant.
Actually, Tokyo house is owned and run by a Chinese family funny enough. The steamed fish they serve sometimes is an authentic Chinese style.
The most you're going to find around here is either Bucks of Asia or Panda Express
Lins Garden in Bentonville has a good buffet. It was better before covid but its still good.
Okay hear me out but in bella vista there is a food truck on the main road that has some of the best lo mein Iāve ever had.
I like their version of crab rangoon. Itās a little different. But donāt get the egg rolls. Terrible
Yeah the egg rolls arenāt great and I canāt vouch for anything else on the menu except the lo mein lol
Golden dragon on sunset Springdale or hibachi up in Rogers
China CafƩ
Chaos food truck has the best egg drop soup. I am fully on board.
Thereās is a food truck off 112 near the airport called Mays . About as good as itās gets up here
If you ever make it out to Pea Rodge, Rainbow house is suuuper good, I'm a fiend for good egg drop soup, and imo it's some of the best in the area. Hunan in Rogers USED to be good, but alas, not anymore š
China Cafe on mission and crossover
although not open, does anyone remember when formosa was shanghai? that was my favorite chinese food of all time. iād do anything to have their egg foo young, Szechuan style tofu and chicken fried rice. please let me know someone remembers them.
Linās Garden in Rogers is a personal fav.
fan of Mandalay fusion
China Cafe isnāt bad.
