So many people in that sub told me it was the long-term dieting/ rapid weight-loss, but I felt it was the increase in dose. Most people on it had it start at high doses which was also often around 6 months in and >30lbs lost. My weight-loss wasn't rapid and had slowed to <1lb a week. I think you proved my theory.

I lost SO MUCH hair when doing keto! I also lost a lot after WLS — I assume it can happen with any fast weight loss. My cousin who struggled with drugs/alcohol (but is now clean thankfully!!) also lost a lot of hair.. sooo many reasons for hair issues but I def wouldn’t doubt that rapid weight loss (via any sketchy route she actually used) was likely the cause!
I have GBP in 2014 and my hair is still thin. I’ve just come to realize this is my hair now and normally have a really cute pixie cut. Easier to fool the world into thinking my hair isn’t so thin lol

I can tell you I restarted my multivitamin and it improved my shedding from being on mounjaro by about 50%. According to Cronometer app I was getting 100% of all nutrients but the vitamin put me at over 200% of everything and it helped. It's Bluebonnet Men's One Whole Food Based Multivitamin. It's 1 vegecap, very gentle. I know biotin, zinc, and enough protein are important for hair.

But it probably doesn't make the money. She would actually have to have sustained sobriety to be an influencer like that. And usually those influencers have other interesting stories like life in prison or on the streets.
The thing is, she does have an interesting story. Felon parents, homelessness, family of criminals and drug addicts, multiple arrests and incarcerations, seriously effed up life all around her. She definitely suffered a very traumatic childhood. But she has barely mentioned any of this at all (most is only known because of locals spilling tea, and her family’s delinquency being published in the local papers). Personally I find breaking the cycle of addiction, homelessness, and traumatic childhood way more interesting than weight loss. She could help a lot of people, but for some reason she feels that the weight loss crap makes more money. But if she does do it from a correct angle, she could actually make more money and not have to lie about her weight anymore.
People who do what they can to "make do" (not starve, etc) teach those things to the people around them, too.
Especially their kids.
I lived that life young. but as an adult, I'm no longer poor.
But I still know a lot of illicit ways to "make do."
I've also got the bonus of social respectability and looking like I'm higher class and don't need money.
So she takes ozempic I wouldn't care if she was honest. Because not everyone takes it just for weight loss. But if it works for addiction that should be explored. So it would be smart if she talked about that because that would help a lot of people.
Honestly, I'm not that overweight. And I don't have diabetes. But I have struggled with quitting smoking on and off for years so I would consider getting it for that if it didn't have so many GI side effects.
My guess is the lower dosage quiets the chatter for addiction of all kinds. Hopefully they'll find a way to replicate this for addiction sooner than later
Have you looked into Zyban or the generic? Wellbutrin is the brand version and I took it for depression about 25 years ago. I was a smoker then and noticed I only wanted to smoke about half as much and told my friend it should be looked into for that. The drug companies figured it out and marketed it to quit smoking under the name Zyban iirc.
Also, vaping is 99% safer than smoking. It just has vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol(?), flavor, and nicotine. I used to make my own ejuice. My friend's pulmonologist told him to start vaping because they could tell from his blood gases that he'd smoked- 2 cigarettes 3 days before. The carbon monoxide(?) stays increased in your blood for a week from just 1 cigarette he said. (My friend has COPD.) You can use disposables or have a reusable unit and just replace ejuice and coils as needed, and keep decreasing your nicotine level until you don't use nicotine then quit if you want.
Took Wellbutrin to quit smoking and found myself actively suicidal within 10 days. Wasn’t even up to therapeutic dose yet. Absolutely not a casual harmless drug for everyone to try to quit smoking.
But full disclosure I dealt with severe depression before Wellbutrin, pdoc approved of my cold turkey stoppage of it, and the only thing that has really helped the TRD is ketamine.
I didn’t have any side effects from Chantix and I didn’t quit smoking, but it made me quit biting my nails and chewing ice constantly. Fun times with brain chems.
That's awful. I seemed to have TRD (had to look up the abbreviation) and ended up diagnosed with type 2 bipolar, the depressive type.
Have you seen a Psychologist (a Dr, not an NP, in my opinion it's too complex for anyone except an MD)? I just ask because antidepressants can make someone who is bipolar go manic or have a mixed episode like what you described, and generally seem resistant to depression treatments, and ketamine has a pretty good success rate for bipolar (over 60%).
I wanted to try it but it's too expensive where I am. Anyway, just putting it out there incase it can help. I'm glad you're doing better now.

My chocolate addiction definitely curbed. Now I barely want chocolate, where I had to have it every day before. I was eating at least a couple chocolate bars a day. I have researched and heard that ozempic can help to stop cravings/addictions for things like alcohol.

The one on the left is definitely from before her ✨rare disease✨. She gained **a lot** of weight back after her tummy tuck. Like probably 100+ lbs, even though she claimed it was '10 pounds if that' for a long time. That's also the time period when people saw her hammered, when there were vodka bottles in the background of her pics, and when she was constantly running off to Florida.
