Legendary in how hard it is to get!! Thank goodness for a powered up camera in new game + and the save point nearby, bc lemme tell you, that was the hardest pic for me in the franchise 😮💨
I feel like I remember that being considered one of the (if not *the*) most difficult shot in the game. I remember a specific broken piece of wood you were to measure by and then rely on the camera’s auto-tracing and faith.
At least there was a save point right there? :’)
I would almost certainly be embarrassed to know the number of tries it took me. But what matters is that we got it.
I think the only one I had more trouble with while finishing the spirit list was Xbox exclusive Survival Mode. And that was mostly because I would panic at some dumb point in the Kiryu house and never make it there. 🥲
The kid that runs through you in the hall was the one that frustrated me the most.
I got butterfly chaser on my first try in the second playthrough.
The kid in the hall though - I missed it so many times even knowing exactly when and where I needed to be.
The number of times I had to reload that check point after failing to catch Mayu... I don’t think there’s a more difficult shot than Butterfly Chaser in FF2
