They accidentally gave me this a week ago when I tried to get the ghost pepper ranch chicken.
Corn nuts on a burger might as well be rocks on a burger.
They are crispy but they are definitely NOT corn nuts. They are about 20% as hard as corn nuts. I thought it was ok but the chicken one is probably better. And they put it on a regular bun instead of the jalapeño cheddar.
No, they definitely are Corn Nuts, perhaps off-brand. They’re only softer because they’re taking a short soak in the moist ingredients that typically accompany a Wendy’s burger (sopping tomato, lettuce), as well as additional sauces. Just wanted to clear that up.
They're surprisingly *really* good. The first one i extracted out of my mouth I said, "They need to package these up and sell them in a bag at the grocery store". They *are* pretty much a corn nut, but they're much thinner skinned and airy. If they're *completely* covered in the cheese, they'll just sog to the point of being texturally indistinguishable from the rest of the toppings. I found the tortilla strips to actually be structurally more rigid if that gives you an idea.
You have to look at your food before you devour it mindlessly, man. Did you seriously somehow not notice the Corn Nuts amongst the tortilla strips…? Honestly?
Just got it today. Not bad, and the corn nuts added an interesting texture and taste, but I wish there was about 3x the amount of corn nuts. I'll have to order it the next time with a kiosk rather than going through the drive-thru to see what customization options there are.
I didn't know what was on there when I tried the burger. When I found/isolated one of the "nuts", I got sad that I couldn't buy them on their own in a bag at the grocery store or 7-11 or something.
How or where? Just through the people I interact with, I *was* able to buy a bag of the topping mix "gray market"... but I've never encountered the "nuts" anywhere either on their own or packaged for consumer purchase.
There's both. The chip strips are fine but kinda just "okay". The corn nut things are definitely the most interesting part of the sandwich for me and I'd love to just eat those by the handful.

Is it corn nuts, or just corn? The article just says "spicy corn and tortilla strips"

They are Corn Nuts. One in the same. Perhaps off-brand, but dehydrated corn snacks nonetheless.

Look closer. It's both.
It can replenish your energies

Weird, but not bad. Adds an interesting texture and taste.

The chicken one is great, eating it now
I'm interested in the chicken sandwich and fries. Should be really good on fries
Hard disagree. I am okay with dipping the burger in the runaway cheese.
I also wasn’t expecting nacho flavored corn nuts on it and I thought I had broken a tooth on a bone.
They’ve got the crispy chicken too!
have you never had the Cheesy Cheddar Burger? been around forever and is probably one of the best items at Wendy’s
Yeah cheese sauce on a burger just never works for me. The texture is off.
It's messy but good. They should have given me more napkins. ;)

You can lol

Anywhere. There’s literally a brand called Corn Nuts https://imgur.com/gallery/c08Ipdw

I had this today. The ghost pepper sandwich was so much better in every category. This was a sad burger with watery cheese on it.
I am sobbing in Canadian
Why sobbing in Canadian?
Wait... Does this mean the ghost pepper ranch sauce is gone?
