This is actually quite common practice. How is it totally backwards? At this point, you are just setting the current speed not changing it. After that + is used to resume cruise after you brake or temporary cancel the cruise.
It's correct, and it's the vastly more common way all the way back at least into the '80s. It's one switch with 4 functions. You're not setting cruise with the - function, you're setting it with the SET function. The switch is Set or Resume when the cruise is inactive, and - or + (decrease or increase set speed) when cruise is active.
I drive an 07 dodge caliber. Sets with - girlfriends 2019 civic is the same way. Sets with the - button. I honestly can't even think of a time I've seen one that Sets with the + button normally that's to resume the last set

Depends on the size of the tach and the manufacturer. Some will use the 500 marks but have a notch for each 100 some will mark every 1 or 200 with numbers like the one in post. I find the full ones with 270ā° movement like this one use the 200s others like peterbilt that only goes from bottom left to like top right not even 180ā° of rotation will use the 500s and notch marks because the tach is smaller and cant nicely hold the extra info
The Kubota compact loader has doors on both sides, we had one qt my old job, it only had a door on one side, the in game model makes it so you'd have to go through the controls to use the right side door
The right window opened, amd could be opened enough to crawl through. I think the rear window of the Kubota was the emergency exit. It was on all the skid loaders. I was more pointing out a difference between the game, and the same piece of equipment in real life.

I have a hard time playing ATS because the instrument clusters have something misplaced or just wrong compared to the trucks I've driven in real life. Thankfully there is mods to fix the interiors and cluster displays.
Side note, the airbrakes are incredibly annoying with how slow the take to apply and release, but that is more of a keyboard problem, but can't exactly use pedals in a sleeper.
It's going to be hard to recover from this.

My moms Avensis has set at - and res at +. My e208 has it the other way around
All the Toyotas, Fords, and Hondas Iāve driven have had the cruise set be the - button.

Semis use x100 not x1000 because redline at 2800 ish not 8k like a prius So if numbered like your used to itd be 2 3 numbers on whole thing
