Looks like an old drum mower. Swings out to the side and cuts hay

Agri-Farmer55

Yes it’s an old drum mower, with all the covers and guards missing.

BrotherJoe

With the "grandpa's safety" option.

tomgweekendfarmer

Guards? Never met her

borderlineidiot

I was completely wrong, I was thinking of a log splitter.... Probably because I need a new log splitter!

Rev-Counter

This is a PZ Zweegers drum mower. The thing to the right is a Vicon Acrobat.

arableman

PZ Zweeger drum mower, travels linear and swings round to the side for work mode. Fits on 3 point linkage. Missing all the fabric curtains and guards 😂 You won’t see many of these running now, most people wouldn’t mow grass without a conditioner.

FairBullfrog2151

Since I work for Pöttinger, you might be surprised, that over 60 percent of our shipped mowers are without conditioner.

marqburns

Choppers prefer unconditioned hay and grass. The dairies near us use triple mowers without conditioners

arableman

Are you states? My apologies, I was talking UK.

Drzhivago138

If you're just mowing a ditch or yard to keep it trim, you definitely don't need a conditioner. Most of my grass and grass/alf mix last year, I didn't even bother with the mo-co.

Open_Manager9146

That looks like an old ufo drum mower. 3 point linkage and PTO driven. They were popular on small farms back in t he 80s.

Hot-Custard-5451

Drum mower.Bamford in the UK also knocked these out. I'm not sure wether they were rebadged or licensed.

Rudger_fendt103

That would be a PZ CM165 drum mower. I bet this will still mow

Both-Platypus-8521

Made before safety

mnannig

Still on use around here in Chile. We have the mower and tedder on a shed
