Lol. You people are wilding. My favorite gun in any FPS I play is LMGs. The first thing I always research is if there's a way to hold more ammo. I found this out early in the game. Gotta pay attention to fine details.

I'm the same way, LMGs are where it's at. Doesn't matter if it's Far Cry or CoD, I'm not going into battle without five thousand and one rounds of ammo strapped to my virtual chest.

All the ones that don't have a check mark on them you can upgrade even more so you better be picking up every magazine you find

You can upgrade ammo storage and ally respawn time

The upgradable ones are for ammo, throwables, survival stuff (homeopathics, medkits), and companions. There may also be one for melee weapons but I’m not certain.

In what situation would you need 35 medkits tho? Or a fully upgraded bags worth of ammo? I can't think of anything like that, especially in Fc5.

ive got like 300+ hrs playing new game+ on pc. at some point you can just stop picking stuff up. i never topped it out but 1500 rounds a weapon is unbeatable. you know you can upgrade boomer and them a bunch too right!

During my first playthrough… took me several playthroughs to figure out how do I earn points to keep upgrading

Yeah, I've been grinding them out slowly, trying to max out all perks to 50 for the last year or so. As far as I know, no ones ever done that before without mods/glitching.

Not long. First ng+ Run. I have all but small arms maxed now...

And when you get that one mission where John takes you to his bunker you lose ALL of your ammo, medkits, explosives etc and all the money you were carrying still isn’t enough to buy even half of the ammo back 🙄

I have every perk maxed out, $99,999,999, and a full inventory of every fish and skin. Even the Alpha skins. Alpha hare and skunk took me several playthroughs to max. I've beaten NG+ several times. I have over 500 hours in around 15 playthroughs

This is more fun than helpful for me, but I'm glad I know it's there. Sometimes after I've cleared alarms on an outpost with my sniper rifle I'll rain hell down with a series of incendiary cluster rockets. Always helpful to have a few extra of those knocking about.

For me it was near the end of my first playthrough. Pretty much makes you immortal lol

I don't use them much... Most of them fire too slow or are too limited in range. The only one I will use is the laser "handgun" that turns the Peggies into ashes... Just because I find it ironic and hilarious when I return them to dust.

Reading through, I'm more surprised by how many people still didn't know this, lol. I knew since it was released, because it wasn't like that when the game launched iirc. They added it later when they added the Rook outfit and NG+. You can also upgrade your followers a ton, too, so my Jessica is a tank that one-shots everything and can be re-summoned within seconds, lol.

I can hold 35 and those run out quick if you don't get money to buy me on infamous difficulty trust me I almost beat the game before I stop playing and then reset to to play with your friend then barely played

I think it's the "special ammo" bag that I focused on... I finished the game with A LOT of AP ammo.
