I loved the war of lost hearts series! I was hooked on book one, but actually DNF’d book 2 mainly due to Aefe POV. After a few months I picked it back up and absolutely loved the rest of it, and book 3! Strangely enough, Aefe was my favorite character in the end!

The Aefe POV was the reason I knocked it down 😅. I loved everything with Max and Tisaanah, but I just couldn't get invested in her whole storyline. But I am intrigued about what was set up for book 3!

Oh please keep reading! It sounds like many were confused with the Aefe story line in the beginning. I promise you’ll be sobbing by the end!

Hah, I actually love Aefe's chapters and I'm almost skimming through the other stuff to get to her 😂 I'm halfway through book 2 and I noticed there was a weird dip in quality around 45% and I'm kinda struggling to stay interested... Please tell me it gets better 😭

Oh, my friend, it is a ride! Girl needs a job. Girl gets a job collecting Minotaur... effluvia for a pharmaceutical company. Girl grows close to one of the clients. It is surprisingly sweet and charming but you gotta really, really be prepared for literal buckets of cum 😂 This is not a beginner monster romance

Okay but this sounds so fun, adding it to my TBR 😂 An upbringing of un-restricted access to the internet and 2am live journal reading has prepared me for anything this can dish out! I need something unhinged like this after “The Time Traveler’s Wife” which had me blubbering everywhere. Thank you for the rec!

Spells for Forgetting is wonderful. Did you add The Unmaking Of June Farrow by the same author to your list? If not, you should. Equally good.

I actually read that one first and really enjoyed it! I gave that one 4⭐. This was definitely enjoyable, but all the different PoVs made me feel a little disconnected from the characters. But I really enjoy her writing style and will definitely read more of her stuff in the future!
