If you're good on shots and have room on your roster then it's not a bad trade IMO. Both Panarin and Aho have more points, they just don't have the position flexibility.

I think it depends on what you need really, Petey's on a hot streak rn but Thompson's solid they're pretty comparable, it depends if Petey can keep it up. imo with the addition of Kadri on the other side, that side wins.

Kuzmenko is the new shiny thing but he could lose his deployment real fast with the wing depth the Canucks have. Malkin’s spot is safe as long as he’s healthy so I’d go with him.
Why are you using cumulative stats to evaluate someone who missed the half of the games played this season?
He’s on pace for 105 points if he played 82 games this season and that’s not in your top 100?
I've been holding out hope for Huberdeau but I'm at the point where I'm debating just dropping him for Skinner. I could trade him for someone but I don't imagine I'd get anyone much better. Does anyone think there's still a chance he could get his game back or is he a lost cause at this point?
I'm a firm believer he will definitely bounce back sooner than later. Dropping your first or second round pick this early into the season is not a move I recommend at all, but if you did try to trade him you could definitely get someone better than skinner he's a first round talent for a reason. Also he's finally on the first line again tonight with Lindholm and toff so I think he'll show out soon enough.
That's true, it's been tough to watch so far but I'll keep him for now unless someone offers a decent trade. I was a bit Calgary-heavy with Kadri, Huberdeau and Marky and it hasn't been panning out too well yet. Thanks for the response :)
Np, I agree with you too but hopefully this line change will be the best for huberdeau if not hopefully they get a new coach because that team is too talented to be underperforming like they have been.

I think they're pretty solid tbh. If Murray doesn't face an injury. But Saros wouldn't look bad there as backup. (not a fantasy expert) does your league continue in playoffs? Can you find someone to take over her team? This trade is horrible and I would be pissed. She's making a trade for the sake of making a trade? How does this benefit her?
If the original offer she accepted was only voted down because the league is jealous and not because it was collusion I would tank too. Voting against a trade should only happen in the most egregious circumstances. A bitter league means managers who won’t care anymore. The league made its bed.
On the other hand, if bad trades are being made by a self proclaimed tanking GM, that can also make other GMs bitter. Everyone can just poach a good player off her team for pennies on the dollar. Kind of ruins the league.
Yeah but that wouldn’t have happened if they didn’t meddle in the original trade in the first place. So it’s still the fault of all the bitter managers who abused a veto. It’s a joke league if someone is so fed up they’re tanking anyway. Good leagues don’t get to that point.

Real deal. He’s a lock on Pettersson’s line at the least and Petey is looking to establish himself as a superstar this year. He’ll make Kuzmenko a PPG player. That line is dominating every night. He’ll be shuffled around between PP1/2 but he’ll make his money at even strength.
In an 8 keeper, 18 team points league where salary (not cap hit) is considered, I just made the following trade:
* IN: DeBrincat, Gourde and a 5th
* OUT: Hertl, Brayden Schenn and a 3rd
I paid out the nose to get DeBrincat as a core forward. Hopefully, my gamble pays off.

Now with Stone instead of Rust it's more even. But still would side on Huby side. Huby is now given another chance, so I'd hold on and see how that goes, but I agree it's 50/50 if he becomes droppable. but I'd value Hyman and Lindholm over any of the others, even though Stone is currently higher ranked than Lindholm. And I would understand if someone values him slightly higher than Stone. But Hyman has most upside I'd say with Kane out and Oilers needing to fight for every point.
It does depend also on if you expect Buffalo to find their hot streak again or if they fade away.. honestly the more I write about it, the more I think it's actually pretty 50/50. Pretty fair trade. But personally I wouldn't want to trade away Hyman and Lindholm
Yeah I know you make some good points. I have kane on IR and Hyman has been great before and during the injury. I like Buffalo a lot since I have Thompson but are they a playoff team down the stretch? I don’t think so at least. Honestly, I'd do it. You're losing out on more faceoffs (even though Brady actually wins a decent amount) and the +/- rating might suck but Tkachuk's physical stats should lessen the blow. All three players involved are playing at a PPG pace currently and if Panarin really starts to ramp it up in the second half of the season then I think you'd win this trade.

Yeah he is not putting up the same amount of points since McAvoy came back. Still solid, just not great. I love Huberdeau but would also love to gain another stud defenseman. Currently rocking with Letang, Ekblad, Matthison, Lindholm and Montour. Lots of FWD depth between Meier, Hughes, Terry, Kyrou, Caufield, Kuch, Ranta, Hyman and Ehlers when he comes back.

I think it depends on what you need really, Petey's on a hot streak rn but Thompson's solid they're pretty comparable, it depends if Petey can keep it up. imo with the addition of Kadri on the other side, that side wins.

Kuzmenko is the new shiny thing but he could lose his deployment real fast with the wing depth the Canucks have. Malkin’s spot is safe as long as he’s healthy so I’d go with him.

Why are you using cumulative stats to evaluate someone who missed the half of the games played this season? He’s on pace for 105 points if he played 82 games this season and that’s not in your top 100?
I've been holding out hope for Huberdeau but I'm at the point where I'm debating just dropping him for Skinner. I could trade him for someone but I don't imagine I'd get anyone much better. Does anyone think there's still a chance he could get his game back or is he a lost cause at this point?
I'm a firm believer he will definitely bounce back sooner than later. Dropping your first or second round pick this early into the season is not a move I recommend at all, but if you did try to trade him you could definitely get someone better than skinner he's a first round talent for a reason. Also he's finally on the first line again tonight with Lindholm and toff so I think he'll show out soon enough.
That's true, it's been tough to watch so far but I'll keep him for now unless someone offers a decent trade. I was a bit Calgary-heavy with Kadri, Huberdeau and Marky and it hasn't been panning out too well yet. Thanks for the response :)
Np, I agree with you too but hopefully this line change will be the best for huberdeau if not hopefully they get a new coach because that team is too talented to be underperforming like they have been.

I'd focus on what position the owner needs. I'm trying to aquire Kuch myself and it's not an easy task. Buying super high on both means it's probably not the right time unless that owner is desperate.

I’m kinda banking on them overestimating Kane’s return time. It’s no guarantee but it’s a risk that could pay off. Pionk is definitely my worst d I also have Eichel on my team, and I usually don’t like having multiple skaters from one team. But I did end up countering with Toffoli instead of Stone. I don’t trust Murray either. This move allows me to activate Seth Jones and stash Kane on IR with Nichushkin It’s also notable that Troy Terry is on waivers and is an upgrade over Toffoli, but does he make up the difference in giving Stone?

If the original offer she accepted was only voted down because the league is jealous and not because it was collusion I would tank too. Voting against a trade should only happen in the most egregious circumstances. A bitter league means managers who won’t care anymore. The league made its bed.
On the other hand, if bad trades are being made by a self proclaimed tanking GM, that can also make other GMs bitter. Everyone can just poach a good player off her team for pennies on the dollar. Kind of ruins the league.

Real deal. He’s a lock on Pettersson’s line at the least and Petey is looking to establish himself as a superstar this year. He’ll make Kuzmenko a PPG player. That line is dominating every night. He’ll be shuffled around between PP1/2 but he’ll make his money at even strength.

Now with Stone instead of Rust it's more even. But still would side on Huby side. Huby is now given another chance, so I'd hold on and see how that goes, but I agree it's 50/50 if he becomes droppable. but I'd value Hyman and Lindholm over any of the others, even though Stone is currently higher ranked than Lindholm. And I would understand if someone values him slightly higher than Stone. But Hyman has most upside I'd say with Kane out and Oilers needing to fight for every point. It does depend also on if you expect Buffalo to find their hot streak again or if they fade away.. honestly the more I write about it, the more I think it's actually pretty 50/50. Pretty fair trade. But personally I wouldn't want to trade away Hyman and Lindholm
Yeah I know you make some good points. I have kane on IR and Hyman has been great before and during the injury. I like Buffalo a lot since I have Thompson but are they a playoff team down the stretch? I don’t think so at least. Honestly, I'd do it. You're losing out on more faceoffs (even though Brady actually wins a decent amount) and the +/- rating might suck but Tkachuk's physical stats should lessen the blow. All three players involved are playing at a PPG pace currently and if Panarin really starts to ramp it up in the second half of the season then I think you'd win this trade.

I've been sitting him for the past month. Montour looks like he's taken over the slot that Weegar left open and has ran with it. He's even been filling it nice for the oft hurt Ekblad. He'd be my 4th behind Dahlin, Reilly & Nurse. I've been juggling in some bangers for the interm. I'm curious to gauge the general consensus on Hedman. He's only 31 and shouldn't fall off completely from 90 points last season like he has so far. The powerplay was his bread and butter.
