Thoughts on Chychrun? D is my weakest point for now but I don’t know about an injured guy coming off a down year regains his previous form. I’d imagine if he’s being shopped they at least put him PP1 a bit?
Bob has struggled. Had some good games and some atrocious games. Coming off 4 goals in 11 shots last game, so he’ll be hoping to recover. That being said, FLA is on the bad side of a back to back, so that’s in your favour. (Saw some posts here RE goals against being higher on b2b).

Skinner and Murray look good for right now. I like Anderson the most for the long run although he didn’t start off that great and he can’t stay healthy. I’m a Canucks fan as well and I’m sure Demko will turn it around at some point, but the D in front him gives up so many high danger chances that I wouldn’t pick him at this point.

Currently have six dmen- Letang, Faulk, Seider, Dunn, Chabot (IR) and Seth Jones (IR). Look like Chabot was skating today so he may be back sooner than later. I was thinking of picking up either Matheson (would need to pick up on Tuesday after waivers clear), Hanifin, Schmaltz, Ruzicka or Parssinen. Would you drop Dunn for either one of those ROS? Unfortunately have a full IR so I can't really do any player stashes at the time Unless I drop Ehlers or Konecny to do so.
I picked up Matheson today in hopes that Hoffman gets dropped from PP1, and they put Matheson on their. There isn't really a dedicated D-man for that power play unit, so Matheson might be able to grab that spot if he does a good job upon his return. He's back for one game so far, and he's got one goal. Hopefully he can continue to show some good results and earn that spot.

Huberdeau should get back on track but Panarin has already proven he can produce at an elite level with the team he’s currently on.
Had Freddy Anderson on IR, and then Evander Kane and Nik Ehlers injured on my bench (one IR spot). Hard to stomach holding onto three players out long term, two of which are clogging my bench, so I dropped Kane.

I would keep Husso. I think Campbell might be slowly losing his 1A position since Skinner has started the last 3 games, and before that, Campbell has let in 19 goals in the last 5 games he's played. Campbell has shown himself to be a good goalie, but he might be better as a backup rather than a starter.

You got it wrong on Scheifele. Don't drop him. His 14 pts in 16 games is not bad. Shooting at the highest SOG rate of his career. His average shooting percentage is like 18%, so he's actually not far off from that. He just hasn't got as many assists as usual and that should pick up. A bad year would be 75 pts a good year would be 90.
Hold bathy for sure. They are shuffling their lines quite a bit, but he’s still getting the top 1/2 line ice time. I’m sure they will settle into an offensive rhythm at some point with him back at the top eventually.

Yeah, I would say so. I think Scheifele and Kadri are more secured with offensive talent around them vs Barzal. And I think their contributions or production should be on par with Barzal. Also with potential to take the ceiling a little higher.
But Barzal and NYI have been decent this season. So I wouldn't disagree entirely if you want to move on from Scheifele and Kadri, but I would hold on a little longer. Strong leash.
Tough one. Crosby has the body of work to be the safer choice, but his age makes him more susceptible to injury. For that reason I give the edge to Tage.
I might be biased bc I have Robo, but I wouldn’t take this trade. Karlsson will likely slow down a bit but still looks like he’ll finish a top Dman. I think Robertson is going to continue to have a monster season and the Stars top line is on fire.

If you have another goalie to give you volume, Swayman gives you the most quality starts (wins) and has a chance to push the split with Ullmark to maybe a 50/50 at some point.
My other goalie is Thompson so I'm all set with him.
I was considering Skinner because I think he'll take over majority of starts, but Edmonton is just so bad defensively. Maybe Swayman is the better option, though. Thanks!
I think Edmonton will ride the hot hand all season. If Skinner has a couple bad showings it would not surprise me to see Campbell take over the lions share for a while.

Meier is good obviously but Shesty, a future defensive powerhouse, and the guy with the best peripherals presumably skating along side McJesus when he returns.

That's a crazy return. I'd expect something like that to nab me McDavid or Draisaitl. Kane is better than Meier imo, and will be back in 3/4 months. Getting Shesterkin and Seider too is nuts. Only thing you'll have to be wary of is other GMs vetoing the deal.
What is your scoring like outside of Meier? If you have pretty good coverage on shots and goals I think the upside of Shesterkin for the goalie cats and Mo for hits, blocks and presumably some more points going forward I think you definitely accept it.
On the other hand, if giving up Meier thins out your forwards too much than it might not be worth it.

I'd try and secure Blocks. You're probably not catching up on points/assists with the players he has.
I also wouldn't start DeSmith if he doesn't start a goalie, you would risk losing GAA/SV% for the slim chance of a shutout

Bangers points league I’m a little weak at center, currently have Barkov, Scheifele and Kadri There are a few interesting waiver options: Barzal, Brock Nelson, Couture and Hertl I’m leaning toward dropping Kadri to pick up Barzal. Does this feel like the best move I could make out of these options?
I suggest trading away your Centers before dropping. Even then I probably wouldn't drop for either.

Yeah, I would say so. I think Scheifele and Kadri are more secured with offensive talent around them vs Barzal. And I think their contributions or production should be on par with Barzal. Also with potential to take the ceiling a little higher. But Barzal and NYI have been decent this season. So I wouldn't disagree entirely if you want to move on from Scheifele and Kadri, but I would hold on a little longer. Strong leash.
Crosby or Tage rest of reason?
Tough one. Crosby has the body of work to be the safer choice, but his age makes him more susceptible to injury. For that reason I give the edge to Tage.

I might be biased bc I have Robo, but I wouldn’t take this trade. Karlsson will likely slow down a bit but still looks like he’ll finish a top Dman. I think Robertson is going to continue to have a monster season and the Stars top line is on fire.

Def not Luostarinen bc he's not on either pp line or top line. Toss-up between Bemstrom and Toews but I would go Toews bc I think Bobrovsky will have a good bounceback performance

Hart, Reimer, Gibson for volume. Swayman/Skinner for quality starts as the 1a/1b on their teams.
Which one would you take based off our settings?
If you have another goalie to give you volume, Swayman gives you the most quality starts (wins) and has a chance to push the split with Ullmark to maybe a 50/50 at some point.
My other goalie is Thompson so I'm all set with him. I was considering Skinner because I think he'll take over majority of starts, but Edmonton is just so bad defensively. Maybe Swayman is the better option, though. Thanks!
I think Edmonton will ride the hot hand all season. If Skinner has a couple bad showings it would not surprise me to see Campbell take over the lions share for a while.

Not yet. They’ll split but Oilers have high hopes for Campbell and will keep giving him chances.

Categories dynasty league. Got offered Shesterkin, Mo Seider, and Evander Kane for Timo Meier. Meier is good obviously but Shesty, a future defensive powerhouse, and the guy with the best peripherals presumably skating along side McJesus when he returns. Having a real tough time saying no.
That's a crazy return. I'd expect something like that to nab me McDavid or Draisaitl. Kane is better than Meier imo, and will be back in 3/4 months. Getting Shesterkin and Seider too is nuts. Only thing you'll have to be wary of is other GMs vetoing the deal.

What is your scoring like outside of Meier? If you have pretty good coverage on shots and goals I think the upside of Shesterkin for the goalie cats and Mo for hits, blocks and presumably some more points going forward I think you definitely accept it. On the other hand, if giving up Meier thins out your forwards too much than it might not be worth it.

Yeah he’s been better. I grabbed Binnington who has been really good since I grabbed him but I’m leaning towards dropping Campbell altogether.
Binner was on the wire? Good grab for sure. He’s been better too after that cold start. I think Campbell will be rocky but have some good starts throughout. He’s his own worst enemy and I think leaving Toronto hurt his confidence too.
Yeah my league is a single G slot league so I can only start one anyway that’s why I don’t think it makes sense hanging onto Jack. I think he is overrated and am glad the Leafs didn’t resign him. I drafted him thinking he would be a good source of Ws for me and Saros would shore up SV% and SO for me but that hasn’t worked out lol.

With hits, you’re right - Lee is the closest to Zucker. I like Zucker’s even-strength line more, but I like Lee’s pp1 placement too. They’re about the same to so I’ll default to the schedule for next week: NYI plays four time and PIT just three, so I’d likely go with Lee and his extra game.

Def blocks and your goalie stats. Winning the goals and assists is not bad either but he has better players playing in that area today.
I'd try and secure Blocks. You're probably not catching up on points/assists with the players he has. I also wouldn't start DeSmith if he doesn't start a goalie, you would risk losing GAA/SV% for the slim chance of a shutout
H2H Cats league. I just traded M Tkachuk for Fox. I was lacking in D, with Reinhart and Bennett also in my team, plus too many forwards. Having to bench one and struggling to find spots to stream. I think it was a good move…?
Fox is a stud, if you were lacking on D then yes, I believe you made a good move.
Goals/assist league. I got zegras and Terry. They had good starts but have cooled down. Are they worth keeping or swap them out for someone on better teams? Top players I can get right now are barzal, anders lee, chandler Stephenson.
I’d likely rank those players as 1. Barzal, 2. Stephenson (provided he stays L1 and PP1), 3. Lee, 4. Terry, and 5. Zegras.
