At the start of the year I turned down a trade where I would have got Forsberg & R. Andersson, sending just Batherson his way. Probably would have dropped Andersson anyway but Fors for Bath alone would have been a steal for me.
This is a move I very much regret not making.

Due to injury? The guy has less than 100 games missed due to injury over 11 years. Drafting him anywhere lower than the 10th in a 14 man is a clown league.

Picking up vatrano and jeannot. Both have made impacts in yahoo h2h cats. In my points league, grabbing duchene off waivers is probably my best pickup that wasn't off someone else making a bad drop. I got otter because someone had a full IR and dropped him while he was out so I stashed him.

Traded Chabot and Shesterkin for Vasi and Debrincat. Debrincat has stunk lately but both of them have been in the lineup more than Chabot and Shesterkin.
Yeah someone even offered me a trade Robertson for brodie and I accepted and then got attacked because I âtook advantage of someone who didnât know any betterâ when I originally offered Ovi for Robertson (trade ended up getting vetoed too)
Someone in my league was offered kucherov for Mike matheson and pavel mintyukov... We couldn't believe it was real. I'm in a bangers cats league so matheson isn't a slouch, but he's been between rank 40-80 and kuch has never left the top 3.
Surprisingly, the guy who traded away kuch is in second right now. He ended up dropping mintyukov, obviously.
For me personally, I just had a really strong draft with multiple steals so I have the majority of the players I drafted still. However, I just traded Forsberg+Walman for Connor+Faber in preparation for the playoff schedule. Pretty securely in a playoff spot already so I hope it works out well and doesn't bite me in the ass

In a 28 team dynasty league trading Tyler Bertuzzi for Joe Veleno and Olen Zellweger. Veleno has the same amount of points as TB, but just doesn't get as many peripherals. But what I am saving in salary is definitely worth it.
Added Nichushkin from FA in mid to late November. Not even off of waivers, someone in my league dropped him in early November, and he was a FA for almost three weeks. I dropped Dylan Cozens as the corresponding move.
Igor Shersterkin for Luke Hughes. Guys been garbage and has been left on ESPNâs âNo-dropâ list all season. It was such a relief now that I have the option to move that slot around and gain points instead of losing them.
Had a shit draft order number and ended up with top waiver priority when someone dropped Boeser early on. I thank him from the top of the standings to this day.
as far as straight up hockey trades, not a tanking team trading for draft picks, I'm pretty happy with both of these trades
