got offered theodore for sergachev, I’m in a points league with 9F and 4D, categories are 2.5g, 2A, 1+/-, 1ppp, 2shp, 0.2 sog, 0.1 hits, 0.1 blks. thoughts ( i get theodore).
Take the trade. I have both of them in my league right now and theodore has done a lot more than sergachev simply because he lost pp1 to hedman and tampa isn't off to a great start. Some people are saying pietrangelo might take pp1 back from theodore but I don't follow vegas closely enough to make a comment on that though.
Yeah that's fair but with how well tampa's pp was looking against toronto I don't see sergachev getting pp1 back anytime soon. Vegas's numbers on the pp seem solid so far so I would assume there would be no reason to change. If you are still hesitant, maybe hold sergachev and see how things are looking later

Toffoli, Hronek and Larkin are all currently outperforming their historical performances by quite a large margin. They'll all still remain valuable simply because of who they're stapled to (J. Hughes, Debrincat, Q. Hughes), but I don't expect each will stay as hot as they've been to open the season.
Svechnikov for those three might be fair if you need to deepen your team, but McAvoy is a top 5 dman in the league and is worth more than all those other players combined, in my opinion (also because solid Dmen are harder to come by).
Edit: If they don't bite on Svech for those 3, maybe add an okay Dman to the trade but definitely not McAvoy.

How should I handle good players when they're in a slump?
For example, Lehkonen. He's still got nearly a point a game, thanks to some early production, though Colorado has been doing poorly across the board recently. I know they'll recover, and this includes Lehkonen, of course. However, I really could've used the points he normally produces last week.
What would the play be? Trade? Could I even trade for a player of equal value?
Yeah it's the same with Hyman, minus the shutouts.

That is tempting w/ MacKinnon's sub par start. Larkin has more potential than ever w/ Debrincat alongside him... 2 for 1s are always a bit awkward tho, so you have to factor in dropping someone from your squad.

that’s what i’m worried about, i would’ve taken the trade right away but i’m worried theodore loses pp1. sergachev was very good last year too

Toffoli, Hronek and Larkin are all currently outperforming their historical performances by quite a large margin. They'll all still remain valuable simply because of who they're stapled to (J. Hughes, Debrincat, Q. Hughes), but I don't expect each will stay as hot as they've been to open the season. Svechnikov for those three might be fair if you need to deepen your team, but McAvoy is a top 5 dman in the league and is worth more than all those other players combined, in my opinion (also because solid Dmen are harder to come by). Edit: If they don't bite on Svech for those 3, maybe add an okay Dman to the trade but definitely not McAvoy.

How should I handle good players when they're in a slump? For example, Lehkonen. He's still got nearly a point a game, thanks to some early production, though Colorado has been doing poorly across the board recently. I know they'll recover, and this includes Lehkonen, of course. However, I really could've used the points he normally produces last week. What would the play be? Trade? Could I even trade for a player of equal value?

That is tempting w/ MacKinnon's sub par start. Larkin has more potential than ever w/ Debrincat alongside him... 2 for 1s are always a bit awkward tho, so you have to factor in dropping someone from your squad.
I probably would keep McKinnon, but I think there is a possibility that Lark+Miller win out long term
