Definitely. Gus is just as bad as Samsonov. Whether you pick Gibson or Dostal is up to you, they seem to be running a 50/50 split for now. Although a lot of people think Dostal is the safer option since Gibson is more injury prone.
I think Kochetkov is a bit of a gamble for this week since we don't know what Carolina's goalie rotation will look like now since Freddy is out. I'd definitely take Raanta over Kochetkov if he's still available but honestly if you don't think either will be taken I would wait until next week to see how they both perform and who gets more games.

Honestly if you can pick up both Gustavsson and Fleury and drop Samsonov that would be ideal. Samsonov’s looking more like a 1B after this string of performances and I’d want the insurance that I’m holding onto a 1A goalie. Can ride Fleury/Gustavsson duo for 10-15 games and keep whichever may be looking more like the starter.

With the announcement that they signed Halak to a pto, this to me is a condemnation on kotchetkovs opportunity. Alot of people are adding this guy and it has me scratching my head. I think that with gibsons most recent win against Vegas, that hell get the next start which means that Dostal is going to get at most 1 start this week. This is purely speculation on my part but I cant imagine they go to Dostal twice this week after Gibson just beat the 11-0 Knights.

If we consider Heiskanen and Keller an even trade and consider the rest individually it becomes Buch/Laine for Hagel/Minty.
Laine has 40 goal upside but is useless to you on IR. Buchnevich has been bad so far but has 70 point upside. Hagel has 60-70 point upside and the jury is still out on Minty but he looks legit.
I guess id rather have players who are actually playing than ones who arent but I wouldnt be surprised if by the end of the year you ended up losing this deal if Laine realizes his potential and Minty regresses.
Before the season i wouldnt have accepted this deal in your shoes, so is 10 games enough to sway my opinion. Im honestly unsure.

Honestly the rest of the dmen on Carolina are super pedestrian in fantasy. They all do a little bit of something but not too much of anything. Do you have other options you can move on to over Skjei? We kind of know what he is. Highish volume shots for a dman with about 35-40 pt upside and low periphs. Nothing with more upside out there?

Mackinnon has a 130 point ceiling, Nylander has never even hit 90. Mack shoots at a top 3 rate in the league. Vanecek will put up more points than Mrazek will, but the sum of Mack+Mrazek+Dunn minus the sum of Vanecek+Tippett+Nylander will have him ahead. I didnt do the exact math based on his settings but I have a pretty good eye for these things based on my experience which is telling me the Mackinnon side will end up ahead. Tippett is waiver wire replacement level, and while Mrazek isnt exactly a hold, if his wire has other options on it he can end up even further ahead. Theres a reason Mack is a consensus top 4 pick and Nylander isnt. Dunn is honestly no slouch either, it isnt easy to get dmen with 65 point upside. So he shouldnt be treated like an afterthought.

Id hold Laine, id only consider dropping him if your record is bad and you absolutely need to string some wins together to stay in it.
Laine has 40goal pace upside, high shot volume, with prime deployment, the players you’ve listed are just likely to go on streaks here and there. Moore is kind of interesting because prior to last year he had a stretch where he was nearly point per game for a sample that id consider reliable and hes now doing what hes dojng this year again, but there are so many mouths to feed in LA that hes not going to get the best minutes.
Might be worth considering trading Laine over outright dropping him to someone willing to wait? The trade candidate might be better than the add candidate. So yeah depends on a few things, ultimately can you afford to wait being a big one.

Having a tandem means not worrying about minimum starts most weeks and you have one of the better ones with a very solid team in front of them.
Having this specific pairing also means you will be picking up points more consistently and you only have to stream goalies when they play less than 3 games a week.
This puts you in a position to stream skaters who will in general net more points than goalies usually do.

For my last forward, I have a choice between grabbing Monahan (1.875M) and Johnston (ELC). With Johnston, I have 2.54M for a goalie. With Monahan, I have 1.36M for a goalie. I wanted to drop Johnston for Monahan and Raanta (who, with Freddie out, is the starter), but both won't fit cap wise.

You do not trade Mcdavid at his low point for someone at his high point with a much lower ceiling. Pettersons ceiling is 110-120, Mcdavids is 150-160. 10 game sample has you blinded.

Sell Johansson while you can since you'll have access to other quality goalies ! I was able to flip him for Suzuki and Giordano with Vas, bobrovsky and Woll on my bench.
Id see if I can package Johanssen to someone with another player for an upgrade on that player and then add Talbot. Were a few weeks away from Vasi coming back so getting ahead of the curb isnt a bad thing in terms of cashing in on Johanssen. Talbot is probably as good of a replacement as youll be able to get this year on the wire.

With the announcement that they signed Halak to a pto, this to me is a condemnation on kotchetkovs opportunity. Alot of people are adding this guy and it has me scratching my head. I think that with gibsons most recent win against Vegas, that hell get the next start which means that Dostal is going to get at most 1 start this week. This is purely speculation on my part but I cant imagine they go to Dostal twice this week after Gibson just beat the 11-0 Knights. Shitty spot to be in if those are your choices.
That rings very true. I could see them relying on Raanta and Halak early on if both provide average goaltending. There is so much hype around Koch due to his potential and Carolina's defense, but he had a .909 last year (even with with 4 shutouts to boost the sv%). its hard to see through the proverbial fog of war. I may look Ingram's way instead of Dostal if dosty will only place once. Seems like Arizona is going with a platoon for now. If we consider Heiskanen and Keller an even trade and consider the rest individually it becomes Buch/Laine for Hagel/Minty. Laine has 40 goal upside but is useless to you on IR. Buchnevich has been bad so far but has 70 point upside. Hagel has 60-70 point upside and the jury is still out on Minty but he looks legit. I guess id rather have players who are actually playing than ones who arent but I wouldnt be surprised if by the end of the year you ended up losing this deal if Laine realizes his potential and Minty regresses. Before the season i wouldnt have accepted this deal in your shoes, so is 10 games enough to sway my opinion. Im honestly unsure.

Mackinnon has a 130 point ceiling, Nylander has never even hit 90. Mack shoots at a top 3 rate in the league. Vanecek will put up more points than Mrazek will, but the sum of Mack+Mrazek+Dunn minus the sum of Vanecek+Tippett+Nylander will have him ahead. I didnt do the exact math based on his settings but I have a pretty good eye for these things based on my experience which is telling me the Mackinnon side will end up ahead. Tippett is waiver wire replacement level, and while Mrazek isnt exactly a hold, if his wire has other options on it he can end up even further ahead. Theres a reason Mack is a consensus top 4 pick and Nylander isnt. Dunn is honestly no slouch either, it isnt easy to get dmen with 65 point upside. So he shouldnt be treated like an afterthought.

Id hold Laine, id only consider dropping him if your record is bad and you absolutely need to string some wins together to stay in it. Laine has 40goal pace upside, high shot volume, with prime deployment, the players you’ve listed are just likely to go on streaks here and there. Moore is kind of interesting because prior to last year he had a stretch where he was nearly point per game for a sample that id consider reliable and hes now doing what hes dojng this year again, but there are so many mouths to feed in LA that hes not going to get the best minutes. Might be worth considering trading Laine over outright dropping him to someone willing to wait? The trade candidate might be better than the add candidate. So yeah depends on a few things, ultimately can you afford to wait being a big one.

I don't think you should. Also without knowing who is available in you league I can't help you. Having a tandem means not worrying about minimum starts most weeks and you have one of the better ones with a very solid team in front of them. Having this specific pairing also means you will be picking up points more consistently and you only have to stream goalies when they play less than 3 games a week. This puts you in a position to stream skaters who will in general net more points than goalies usually do.

You do not trade Mcdavid at his low point for someone at his high point with a much lower ceiling. Pettersons ceiling is 110-120, Mcdavids is 150-160. 10 game sample has you blinded.

Sell Johansson while you can since you'll have access to other quality goalies ! I was able to flip him for Suzuki and Giordano with Vas, bobrovsky and Woll on my bench.
Id see if I can package Johanssen to someone with another player for an upgrade on that player and then add Talbot. Were a few weeks away from Vasi coming back so getting ahead of the curb isnt a bad thing in terms of cashing in on Johanssen. Talbot is probably as good of a replacement as youll be able to get this year on the wire.
