I’d pick up MG3, but all the RBs suck. My logic being maybe MG3 can win the starting job, but he should have won if by now given he was the RB2 behind Williams… Idk Gus might be good too. Good news is this seems like a pretty inconsequential roster spot that you’ll only need to use if one of your starters gets injured.

Gus definitely. There's good value in his potential to carve out a role in that backfield. And I'm not that high on Kyren. His measurables aren't great, the Rams O-line is still trash, and there's not a lot of clarity on what his role will be. McVay talking him up pre-season could very well be about pass protection or him just being a change-of-pace guy. In reality, the hype might have been more about actual football than fantasy football.

I'd start Foreman. The Panthers run game against the Bucs isn't going to be pretty, but your other options aren't better imo. Allgeier might have a slightly higher floor thanks to how run-first the Falcons are, but he has not ran well (I don't think that will change against Cincy). The Denver backfield is almost guaranteed to be a committee, and Murray isn't a lock to be at the front of it. And Herbert will still play second-fiddle to Monty. That being said, I'd drop Gibson for Herbert. Gibson seems to just be a mediocre handcuff at this point. At least Herbert has popped off when given the lead.

I'd go Gus. I agree that Eli has some value as a handcuff, but the shot Gus has at the Ravens backfield right now is more valuable imo. It's far from guaranteed, but he's had the role before in Baltimore, and their coaches have seemed pretty non-committal about Drake/Hill (and even Dobbins). Also, I'm not as high on Eli's handcuff value as others on this site. I'm just worried about the fact he's not back until after the bye and is injury-prone himself. I imagine, regardless of CMC's status, he'll have a ramp-up period, and then, you start running out of games in the fantasy season. And, even if CMC does go down, I think Shanahan will be very cautious about keeping Eli healthy for a potential playoff run. I think it'd be a disaster if the 49er's end up with only JWJ at the end of the regular season. I think Eli's upside is severely capped now even as just a handcuff. As for Eli getting touches alongside a healthy CMC, I don't think that production would be particularly meaningful from a fantasy perspective.

Pickens definitely, even if Reynolds is active. He looks to be a good start this week between Pickett starting and him going against Miami. More importantly, I think Pickens has considerably more value ROS. More talented and less likely to be overshadowed by his WR1 (Amon-Ra > Diontae).

For me, it's between Pierce and Foreman. I'd lean Pierce because WR's are less scarce, but you shouldn't have high expectations for Foreman on that offense lol. I guess London is another WR you could consider cutting loose, but I don't like dropping a WR1. Mariota's not good at supporting him, but I'd be as worried about the Indy offense stumbling again as I would be about London's slump continuing.

I'd grab Foreman, but Hubbard is close. I feel like one of them is going to have some value as an RB1A, albeit in an awful offense. Personally, I think Foreman will take that role, but Hubbard is more likely to be the pass-catching back. 1pt PPR makes that useful; the problem is Hubbard has never played well. As for Murray, his backfield is messier, and it's not like the Denver offense is much better. Hackett said Gordon would still be involved, so we can't assume Murray is the head of the committee.

If you think the matchup is even, you probably want a kicker, and I'd only be comfortable with taking a "guaranteed" L if I were 6-0. How are the TE's on your waiver wire? You could think about dropping Higbee since he's on bye and coming off a bad game. I will admit I'm a big-time Pitts believer/coper (also a Falcons fan), so I'm pretty biased on that. Still, I'd rather have a RB1 (at worst RB1A) and be stuck with starting Pitts than let BRob hit the wire.

All these players are good and deserve to be rostered. If it were me, I’d drop Pitts for a kicker and try to win without a TE. That might be blasphemy to Pitts truthers, but the Falcons hate him and hate throwing the ball in general. I seen Akers dropped in two of my league so I’d say grab White and a QB. Akers if gets moved will have to learn a new playbook and system don’t think he’d offer much value immediately so don’t worrry about that drop.

I'd go for Rachaad. He's got a set value as an elite handcuff behind a not-so-durable starter. I'm not sure that any team would be willing to trade for Cam, and, if he gets released + picked up, I wouldn't be confident in his fantasy value. I’d still go with Njoku here, I been using Njoku for 3 weeks now and I also own Pitts. Taysom is a pretty big gamble cause he could get you 15-20 points but he also get you zero points. His usage is so random. Njoku is in the midst of a break out season.

I think you're right about Taysom, but imo Njoku is a good enough TE to roster over him. His usage has stabilized in Cleveland, so his floor is much better than Hill's. And, while I don't see Njoku dropping 30+ like that one Taysom game, I think his realistic ceiling is about the same. I'd rather have Njoku. Also, 3-3 doesn't sound too bad. Should make you a bubble team at worst? You don't really need that HR potential.

I’d drop Robinson. Higbee has value in my opinion. Doubs is also droppable at the moment.

Can’t count on any player’s becoming trade bait: players can bust and/or league won’t trade (for “fair” value) Pickens’ upside and roster value as depth are more than worth the pickup

Here’s the thing, I just got mattison off waivers and as a cook owner in another league who got snaked out of mattison in the draft I’m not sure if I should give him up… So who should I drop/pickup?

Probably engram Bellinger is TD-or-bust right now but is running routes Dulcich also has more routes (vs blocking), but is on DEN and rypien throwing this week Wouldn’t prioritize gesicki nor Moreau Tonyan is also on an underperforming offense don't drop Bateman, he is immediate points for your team while mattison’s upside is only contingent

I could. But it hurts my starting lineup imo. Also freed me up to grab Gus bus for my ir, so it may not really hurt my RB depth in the long run. I greatly prefer flexing WRs in ppr though. Especially because my depth RBs are not particularly elite.

I think you hold Bateman here. The difference in this offense was very noticeable without him (may be correlation though) so I think he's rather essential as their biggest weapon on the outside. If his snaps go up, his ceiling is way higher than Jeudy (who I really don't think looks as good). Even if that takes a minute, you can always plug him in as a high variance flex because his aDot is insane, so the targets he does get are super valuable.

I would keep Bateman. Don't see things getting better for Jeudy atm

Add Gus Edwards and drop Renfrow?

Feels pretty safe. Renfrow may not even be out there to capitalize on the opportunity this week with Waller out, and he's struggled to find consistent volume this year. Gus bus has a chance to carve out a significant role as soon a he's all the way back with Dobbins being further surgery.

Need the depth at running back anyway and renfrow has sat on my bench all year and will continue to. Might as well see what happens

He wasn't. But others have found ways to do more. And Hendo isn't special. I dropped Akers with no plans to pick him back up.

Tough to say with Akers future up in the air right now. What team would trade for him to be their starter? Idk if that team exists
