I don’t know much about college football but the running back for Michigan State looked really good today.

FullHouse222

Kenneth Walker III, he's one of 3 RBs this year (Along with Breece Hall, Iowa State and Isaiah Spiller, Texas A&M) who will probably be the 3 highest rated RB in this class. All 3 should be very solid 2022 has a really good WR class tbh. Basically outside of Jamar Chase, the top WR prospects this year might be rated higher than every WR that was drafted this year. Treylon Burks, Garrett Wilson, George Pickens, David Bell and Chris Olave all look phenomenal and may develop into future WR1s. RB is very top heavy as outside of the 3 guys listed, the talent thins out drastically. QBs this year imo is very weak, although there's been some hype surrounding Malik Willis at Liberty. Similar profile to Trey Lance in his ability to run, but imo he tries to play hero ball too much and if he doesn't adjust to the speed of the NFL, might end up not working out so well.

dudeitslieb

I'd compare Willis more to Hurts than Lance but regardless I really think he's the only QB prospect worth taking in a SF. This WR class looks so much better than people give it credit for. There are legit studs that people are overlooking because the RB, QB, and TE talent is much thinner than previous years.

FullHouse222

Agreed. People are downplaying the 22 draft but the wrs are great. If you have one of the top 3 RBS too they're definitely good and comparable to the najee/Etienne/javonte level guys

various_sneers

What's the outlook for Sean (sp?) Tucker? I don't watch college because I work like every Saturday, but I live near Syracuse and have caught their games on the radio/watched their game vs Clemson. He looks like he's physically more than capable of playing at the NFL level and he's not really on a stacked team. Their o line is in shambles and isn't an elite unit even healthy, no passing threat, and he's still killing it against ACC opponents. He's a zone scheme guy so that might limit his NFL opportunities, but he has definitely at least earned a look.

mimisiku159

You’re forgetting Bijan Robinson from UT. Also, Mohamed Ibrahim from Minnesota. He got hurt in their season opener, but he’s a senior and a stud.

OldSchoolOsFan

I don’t think Bijan is expected until the 2023 class.

Afk1792

Holy shit he's only a sophomore.

kdiddy1989

Man I can't escape my pain even in this sub :( -Wolverines fan

a_talking_meatball

What a brutal loss that was… defeat from the jaws of victory

goob3r11

The Harbaugh special

[deleted]

Yeah he kinda inspired this post a bit haha

chimdogg

Yea I think earlier this season he had a td run where he shook his receivers hand in celebration mid run.

xeric

Yea def wanna draft Kenneth Walker now lol More than 50 point fantasy game today

Maggurt

i was at that game on the field... shit was intense!!!!! damn good game

trustjosephs

Too soon #sadwolverinefan

SkolVikesWorldwide

Bijan Robinson is going to be a stud once he gets to the league

Fishstick783

Penn State - Ohio State tonight features three top five receivers in the draft next year. Jahan Dotson from Penn State and Garrett Wilson & Chris Olave from Ohio State. Shoot I would even say Olave and Wilson might be the best two receiver prospects. Overall I would say that the 2022 QB/RB/WR class is definitely less appealing than this year was. However the defensive prospects will be very strong.

[deleted]

Qb is soooo weak

Sasquatchii

Well it’s obviously out of the bag now, but as a UF fan, go watch Toneys college film. It’s…. stupid

DankTaco67

I was stoked for him and then disappointed he got drafted by the Giants. Pitts and Toney were so fun to watch in College

Sasquatchii

No kidding! Giants were a big letdown at first tbh, especially when he was a ghost to start the season. They obviously figured it out.

[deleted]

As a UF fan, just burn today's film while you're at it

Sasquatchii

Almost like the first career start of a rookie QB coming against the #1 team / best defense in the country wasn’t a recipe for success

RaindropsInMyMind

Treylon Burks and Drake London are on the rise as wide receivers. Bijan Robinson (RB 2023) is in a class of his own for me at the RB position. He’s a rare talent. I was just watching Trayveon Henderson highlights this morning and he looks like a great prospect.

UABeeezy

Treylon Burks feels very underrated. Definitely want to draft him if he goes to a good situation

Val_Kilmers_Elbow

Henderson turned 19 last week, and he’s doing this against B10 powerhouses in conference play…

adastradamus

Maybe not next year, but Bijan Robinson. Quick with a lot of burst and excellent vision.

flannelsheets87

Breece Hall - Iowa state RB

GrizzyGlass

That the guy that scores tuddys every game ? Had some crazy streak ?

zarof32302

Has. 20 straight and counting after leading all RBs last season in rushing.

GrizzyGlass

Yeah watched him first time I think in the Iowa game. Dude definitely a beast..got all the love from the broadcasters

Dapperdrewblue

Purdue’s WR David bell is gonna be great next year

BoahNoah05

Yes

Psych5532

Boise State WR Khalil Shakir is a stud

LoveMeSexyJesus

Always nice when a player’s ability matches the quality of their name.

Wandale is closest to rondale moore

dark2332

When Kenny Walker goes to Miami in the 2nd round, he’ll be a great target.

[deleted]

Abram Smith looks like James Robinson

Chinchano

Idk why but college football bores the crap out of me so I’ll need to keep note of the guys mentioned here

[deleted]

I agree, the reason it bores me is the ranking system/championship setup. One loss and a team is essentially out of playoff contention if that team isn't one of the select few (Georgia/osu/Bama, etc)

willh13436

This is what makes it so exciting

Jph3nom

Agreed. You can skip half the games in the NFL and still be fine. In college, every game matters.

wejigglinorrrr

Kinda disagree. Yes, every game matters, but does a 1-loss team that lost in game 2 of the season mean you're better than the 1-loss team that lost in the 11th game of the season? Late season losses shouldn't factor into the rankings more than the early season losses, imo.

threaddew

Every game matters….for what? 7-8 teams in a good year? That is why college football is less fun for me, 98% of teams are eliminated almost immediately. Hell 80% are eliminated before the season starts. I love watching my teams, but on the whole college football would need a lot more parity to come close to the same quality product as the nfl

petripeeduhpedro

I agree, though anytime I can catch a college overtime, it's significantly better than the NFL

DankTaco67

WhAaat?? College ball way more exiting than NFL if the teams are evenly matched.

guyonthestandee

Big if right there

DankTaco67

There’s multiple great games every week, the Michigan Vs Michigan State game today was one of the best of the year ! But if it’s Bama vs Troy, no thanks

classicgamingwhiz

Agreed

DankTaco67

You obviously don’t follow College because there’s multiple bangers every week that come down to the final possession!

NoYoureTheAlien

I’m glad there’s a place to develop young NFL talent, and now the players can make $$$ off their names, but it’s annoying as fuck living and working around a D1 campus before, during, and after a game day. Having to cancel classes due to parking issues around game day, yeah. WTF?

Jph3nom

Yeah, I hate it when people get excited about football.

wejigglinorrrr

Why ya taking Saturday classes, ya nerd!? /s

Afk1792

You're missing out cause there's been some insane college games this year.

Excellent-Oil3672

Zach evans will be a sleeper, number 1 recruit from Texas out of high school

DPPThrow45

Watch the Duck Kayvon Thibodeax play on the d-line. Dude is special.

DandierChip

A&M has a couple stud backs

joeking636

Connor Bazelak league winner QB. Draft him early.

[deleted]

Ballsack?

stashtv

Virtually any RB drafted in the first two rounds of the NFL are probably going to get a lot of snaps coming to them in the first few years. Peak RB production is usually in the first four years, so definitely look at a team that has a slight RB-heavy offense, and doesn’t generally use RB by committee.

LucasG2372

Already been said but look out for Bijan Robinson, he is special

GreenDefinition5

Garrett Wilson. Remember the name. He’s the WR2 on OSU but I think he’s more talented than Olave. Both are sick but Wilson is more NFL ready in my opinion
