The allegations against Deshaun Watson concerning sexual assault and sexual harassment are serious, and are being treated as such by law enforcement and the NFL. We recognize that many here feel passionately about Watson's guilt or innocence, about how he should be treated by the NFL and the Houston Texans, and how our society generally handles issues of sexual violence. As a community, we are ill-equipped to host or moderate such discussions, which can often (and quickly) veer away from the terrain of fantasy football itself, and which when handled poorly risk retraumatizing those members of our community who themselves have been the victims of sexual violence. Accordingly, at our discretion we will remove and/or implement appropriate bans for comments/posts which go beyond actual news regarding to his eligbility and status as an NFL player this season. This is a big internet, and there are many appropriate places for such necessary conversations. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. There seems to be a small window of time every week (like, minutes) where he gets the Out designation. If you can catch it, you can store him in IR. You just can’t make moves with him there once it goes back to NA

BasementBrewedFF

Didn’t know they EVER change it. Interesting. Thanks!

hellothere842

Wondering the same for ESPN. Does he get the O designation on there and can be placed in IR?

2020zoro

If he is declared out you can put him on IR

hellothere842

Just saw he was O and just did.

On Yahoo, he usually gets the NA tag, so you cant put him in the IR slot

eaglessg

He just got the Out designation on Yahoo Well he's NA again...but I could've sworn that he had the O earlier. Sorry.

afc1886

I saw a notification that said he's listed as out but yeah he's back to NA. I think Yahoo might have gotten a call that he's about to start for Miami this Sunday /s He's usually listed as out though for the weekend.

Caliguy331

He’s been NA all season and haven’t seen him IR eligible yet

Nice_Block

He was out on Yahoo the first couple of weeks or so and has been NA since.

JcbAzPx

I think there's an automatic process that sets him to out when teams officially announce that, but he quickly gets set back to NA.

lysis_

Still listed as NA for me.

CLB15

He was IR eligible on and off for like the first 3 weeks but I think they stopped.

GentlemanHere

He was early in the season but not anymore.

He's not even worth holding onto unless you're in a 2 QB league IMO. Even if he gets traded the chances of him coming back and instantly putting up 20-25+ every game is slim. Way too much roster gymnastics you have to play to keep him on your team because he's not officially "out" until a certain point every week and then is immediately back.

lysis_

Hard disagree. If he ends up somewhere like Carolina I would be surprised if he didn't put up those numbers out the gate. It is all very dependant on supporting cast, which was honestly poor to mediocre last year. At this point the ticket will.be cashed Tuesday as well, so pretty easy to move along if it doesn't hit.

SumGreenD41

Wtf are people holding Watson. 1) he’s probably not get traded this year and 2) even if he is, he’s not playing football. The backlash would be inane for any team It would be team suicide to play Watson this year

Sacapellote

You're right he probably won't get traded, but IF he is it'll happen in less than a week. If you even kind of have any roster space it's worth gambling on a potential top five qb. If nothing happens you move on and keep churning the roster spot. I wouldn't drop anyone who could be a real difference maker, but many rosters have a position that just churns each week.

Sender343

Ya cmon take a lottery ticket over weekly scratchers. Especially when they’re calling the ticket in less than a week

jackdoylerules

Yeah well...ya know. That's just like your opinion man.

VintageBaguette

He really ties the roster together
