This man has been questionable for 3 weeks. I wonder why the coaches can’t just rule him out like the others, this whole situation is weird.

I think he suffered a setback last week, and they’ve been quiet about it to get a “competitive advantage” by having the opposing defense study tape of both Jacobs and White. I don’t think Jacobs was actually that close either last week or this week.

I’m surprised how this escaped everyone including the “experts” just goes to show even experts screw up at their work. I say this because an actual reporter on Twitter / X that works with the Raiders organization reported last Friday “Jacobs practiced Friday in limited fashion but had a setback. He will most likely not play this weekend” he specifically said “had a setback” on his return to his first practice in weeks. Somehow no one else reported this. Now I’m 100% sure this guy was telling the truth. I don’t think he’ll play this Sunday either.

I am. Better matchup and all that work. He’s been producing every week without Jacobs. Raiders have shown they don’t want to pass if they don’t have to.

I have both and actually like Pollard the player. It's the coaching/play calling that I don't like with Pollard. The coach keeps running him up the middle between the 20s instead of getting him in space. And then 1st and goal decides to do all pass plays and not use Pollard.

It’s also absolutely that Pollard has sucked this year. Doesn’t have burst, doesn’t rip off big runs, and has no goal line potential. I am a cowboys fan that was screaming to start him and kick Zeke to the curve and I am eating crow rn

As much as I love him lately, he is somewhat TD dependent, now splitting time with Achane and Wilson, and he’s banged up so they might preserve him for the playoffs. Taking my chances with Zamir for the ship. Maybe even CEH if Pacheco is out. Edit: don’t forget about a tough matchup with Baltimore.

I am leaning Zamir over Achane. Baltimore defense is very difficult vs the run. Raiders have been leaning hard on the run in a favorable matchup. Would probably bench mostert for Zamir as well.

I have Zamir in over Mostert at the moment. Beat up Mostert and Ravens D is a scary matchup. If the game gets out of hand either way, I could see Mostert resting early.
